I'm back with the update. Happy belated Holi to all of you😆...Well consider this as a holi special. Enjoy...

Chapter 8:

It was 7 in the evening. The ghai mansion was quite with everyone busy in their own works. The bell rang and taani went to open the door and was shocked to rey there.
"Rey you here...awww baby mujhe itna miss kar rahe the" taani said while hugging him...
"Hey taani...I actually came to meet kriya"
Taani quickly pulled back on hearing this.
"Kriya??? But why??"
"Ummm she wanted to learn bike"
"Rey are you serious? Tum yahan apni girl friend se nahi...lekin uski behen se milne aaye ho" taani said irritatedly.
"Well...uh yeah..."
Kriya who had come down by chance, noticed rey standing there.
"Rey you here at this time"
"Hey...yeah...you said you wanted to learn bike..so I thought why not now"
"Really...wow...common lets go" she said excitedly. But he gave her a like-this look.
"What??" She asked
"You want to go like this...in this frock??"
It was then she realized that she was wearing a knee lenght frock and cannot go like this. She was highly embarrased.
"2 minutes please"

"Rey honey, tum kriya ko next tine bike seekha dena...abhi how about we both go for a long drive" taani said while kissing his cheeks. This kiss reminded him of yesterday's kiss.
"Taani yesterday night what did you mix in my drink??"
Taani was shocked. She was wondering why this questioned popped up in rey's mind.
"Answer me taani"
"Rey...wh...what d...do you mean...I...I didn't spike your drink" taani fumbled with words.
"If not you...then some one did...and taani next time dont kiss me on lips...I don't like it..."
"Rey I'm your girl friend and I have right to kiss you"
"Yeah but not with out my consent"
Their conversation was disturbed by kriya's voice, who had heard it and was happy that rey didn't like to kiss taani
"Chale?" She asked
"Yeah"
"Kriya I need to talk to you 2 mins please" taani said faking a smile
"Umm I'll wait for you outside" rey said.
After he left taani spoke
"What kind of sister are you kriya?"
"What do you mean?"
"Oh please...stop acting innocent...I pretty well know that you're trying to steal my boy friend.
"Taani you're getting it wrong"
"Oh really...Do I look like a fool...you keep hanging out with rey and keep sticking to him what does that mean?? Anyways forget it...telling you is a waste of time...I hope I dont get a sister like you in my next life" saying this taani left.
Kriya felt very guilty. She didn't intend to hurt taani but couldn't even ignore her feelings towards rey. Her feelings always empowered her mind like they did now. She put aside all her guilty emotions and with a fresh heart she left to meet rey. Her heart always controlled her rather than her mind in the matters concerning rey.
"So ready??" Rey asked
"Yeah"

Kriya sat on the bike and rey behind her. He was so close to her. Their mere proximity sent shivers down her spine. He put his hand over hers to teach her. His hand over hers made her shudder.

He was having a lot of effect on her. She was really very confused over what to chose, her heart or her mind. Her heart says confess to rey that she loves him but her mind says her to avoid rey as that will make taani happy. She was tired, and pareshan of all this heart v/s mind.

Tash kha ke galiyan, mudne lagi hain, mudne lagi hain
Raahon se teri, judne lagi hain, judne lagi hain

They were driving on a lonely road. Instead of concentrating on what rey was instructing her, she was busy admiring him. She was loving staring at his face, observing his expressions, the way his lips were swaying while he was speaking.

She smiled wide on hearing rey praise her for her learning skills. She felt proud of herself. But still confusion was clearly evident in her mind.

At one point, kriya lost control over the bike and was unable to stop. Rey had to apply force on the brakes to make them work. Due to this sudden force they clashed into each other. Her back pressed against his chest and his one hand caught her waist inorder to prevent her from falling. Both of them could feel wonders and butterflies in their stomach. The pace of their hearts increased. His hot breath was hitting her neck, making her close her eyes. Rey could feel her lips quiver and wanted to engulf her in a passionate smooch.

Kriya turned around only to find him so close to her. Their faces were inches apart. They stared into each others eyes and found many unspoken feelings. Flowing in the river of love, they inched forward to kiss.

Realization dawned upon them when they felt a drop of water on them. They were feeling highly awkward. Rey got off the bike and asked kriya to do so. He then got on the drivers seat and kriya as a pillon rider. They drove off before it started to rain heavenly.

It was late at night and kriyansh were lying on their bed in their respective rooms.
"I'm now very sure that I love rey and I would confess it to him tomorrow after the holi celebration at the farm house...and if rey feels the same like I do then I'm sure everything will be alright and taani would understand our feelings." Thinking this kriya, drifted to sleep.
"I'm not sure what I feel for kriya...but all I know is these feelings are true and very strong... I really really like her a lot and I'm going to confess the same to her after tomorrows holi celebration" soon rey too fell asleep.

Every one was present at the Ghai farmhouse. All of them were wishing each other 'happy holi'. Even rey's dadi had come there. She's a sweet yet angry women. Loves rey a lot and cares for him. Rey never disobeys his dadi's orders.
"Kriya... yeh he meri dadi and dadi yeh he kriya" rey introduced both of them since everyone else knew his dadi except kriya.
"Namaste dadi"
Dadi just smiled at her.
Sharon and swayam came from behind and poured a bucket of colored water on rey and kriya respectively.
"Bura na maano...holi hai" they shouted together. Now the real fun had begun. Everyone were throwing colors and splashing water balloons over each other. All the moms were against the 'bhaang', but the dads were stubborn and mixed it into the drinks. They believed that without the bhaang holi is of no fun. Every one was completely drenced in colors except kriya. It was very difficult to identify a particular person. Vicky, nilesh, amar and bharat had a croocked in their mind. The went towards taani with a bucket filled with green colored water in each of their hands. The proportion of water was relatively less when compared to that of the color powder and hence it was slightly thick. Without taani's notice they poured it over her. Poor girl was drenched in a thick paste as if some had poured grease over her. Everyone was laughing at her.
"Ewww" was all she could utter.

On the other hand, kriya was trying to escape the water colors.
"Kriya yaar, this is not fair...holi ke din toh water colors se hi mazaa aata hai" said neha
"Neha...please...I don't like water colors...tum log dry colors apply karlo mujhe mein kuch nhi bolungi but not water colors"
The girls sighed in defeat. It was useless convincing her and they didn't want to do it forcefully as it would spoil kriya's mood. Rey who was observing this got a mischevious plan in his mind. He walked upto her maintaining the sly smile on his face. With this smile of his kriya could understand something wicked was going on in his mind.
"Happy holi baatcutter" he said.
Kriya too replied the same. But before she could understand what's going on, she was in rey's arms. She looked at him with wide eyes. She checked in the direction in which he was taking her, On seeing the big tub filled with mixture of different water colors..she understood his plan.

"Rey please no...don't" before she could plead further he threw her in the tub

"See what did you do...you spoiled my dress and my hair too...very bad" she was complaining to him like a kid would do. Rey got lost in her cuteness, On seeing him lost, she quietly got off the tub and pushed him in. She started laughing at his expression.

"baatcutter you will have to pay for this" saying this rey got out of the tub and started chasing her. Taani was observing all this.

"aww my dear sister...smile how much you can because in some time I'm going to vanish your smile" she said to herself.

It was evening and everyone was feeling lazy. The parents were inside the farmhouse while the young ones were in the garden. Dadi called rey to a room to speak to him privately.

"dadi aapne bulaya"

"ha beta...mujhe tumse ek promise chahiye"

"kaisa promise"

"mujhe yeh promise karo...ki tum aaj ke baad kriya se na hi kabhi miloge aur na hi usse baat karoge"

"but dadi kyu??"

"kyunki mujhe yeh ladki nahi pasand"

"but dadi.."

"rey tumhe apni dadi ki kasam"

"ji dadi" saying this he left from there.

He felt as if his world got shattered. How will he stay away from here. He couldn't chose anyone among dadi and kriya. He wanted to give both of them the happiness they deserved. But since dadi was his priority, he chose dadi over kriya. He was walking like a lifeless soul. Kriya who was waiting for him near the fountain in the garden, saw him coming. SHe went and approached him

"Rey I need to talk to you"

He stared at her for a minute and then resumed his walking. She was perplexed but ignoring this she again stopped him.

"rey muje aapse baat karni hai"

"Don't you understand I'm not interested in talking to you. And please from now on don't even show me your face" with a heavy heart he yelled at her.

The gang who was sitting nearby was astound on hearing rey shout. Whatever rey spoke to kriya was clearly audible to them. Kriya's heart splintered into pieces. Here she was planning to confess him and he doesn't even wants to see her face. Her eyes welled up in no time. Rey hated this...he hated himself for being the reason behind the tears in her eyes. The only person who was happy is Taani. She smirked to herself in victory...

Finally a twist in the story...I hope I don't receive any jootas or rotten eggs and tomatoes for the last part.
