Will Smith To Also Appear In Kyunki?!
The arrival to Delhi was full of heart breaking memories, but Khushi knew she had to do this. Life in Sri Lanka was great, but it wasn't home. It's been 2 years since she saw her family and she missed them immensely. Yet the fear still lingered within her; the thought of knowing he was living here. These past 2 years was her moment to heal, yet whenever she tried, his face would flash in front her eyes. It was worse now since she returned to the very place where her past taunted her. The support of her parents kept her steady, but deep down in her heart she was still a broken vessel. The very being inside of her turned in to ashes waiting within a dark hollow. She waited for so long, waited for someone to hear her screams, but once again she was denied. That was when Khushi decided to give up and crumple away in to the distant shadows. It was all over.
A voice entered the room.
"Khushi, betiya do you want to come to the mandir with us?" Khushi's mother asked.
Khushi watched her mother standing nervously in front of her, waiting for an answer. Ever since the separation her parents were very careful with whatever they said in front of her. Nobody mentioned his name even once. The name itself was a taboo. It broke her already destroyed heart even more. There was a time where her family loved him, and accepted him as their damadji, but a lot can change in a second. And indeed it did. Once their past was revealed he threw her away, broke every ounce of her soul and completely destroyed the very heart she gave him. A lone tear escaped her eye. Even the place where she found peace gave her torment now. She couldn't even step forth to the mandir anymore. Too many fresh memories of their marriage flashed. But today something tugged at her to go. She couldn't put her finger to it, but something whispered, 'go, it's crucial you go today.' Khushi decided to listen to her gut feeling and replied back to her mother.
"Sure Amma, I will come."
Garima watched her daughter silently. It was never easy for a mother to see pain in their child's eyes, but for years that's all Garima could do; watch. Nothing the family did help her. Khushi pretended to be fine, smiling away, cheerfully teasing her buaji and babuji, but Garima knew better. The honey doe eyes of her daughter were empty, drained out, waiting to be filled with love. Garima knew that no other person in this world, that can fill it with love, other than him. The mere thought of him angered Garima to the core. He was the reason for the pain her daughter was silently suffering through. That man deserved all the pain in the world.
"Get ready betta. We will be out."
Garima glanced one last time at her daughter and left the room.
Khushi got up from her bed and walk towards the window. She closed her eyes letting the fresh breeze gently move her hair. That very day still haunted her. His words still echoed in her mind… It was as if it all happened yesterday…
Flashback
"Arnav... don't do this. Please, we cannot do the same mistakes our parents made."
Arnav pushed Khushi away and turned the other side. Anger was vibrating from his body and he was shaking. His heart was trying to reason with him, but his mind was fully in control.
"I don't give a shit what you have to say! The moment you entered my life it was chaos! And now because of your disgusting family, my family fell apart! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT BROKE US? DO YOU DAMMIT!"
Khushi shook with tears at the volume of his voice. Her world was collapsing again. She could see his mask of anger taking over. No matter how much she tried to reason with him, he wouldn't listen. The past has blinded him and he wasn't even fighting it.
"Arnav please… please… don't do this. It wasn't my fault Arnav. Why can't you understand that? I didn't even know what was happening. I was only a child. Why are you taking this out on me?"
None of her reasoning changed Arnav's mind. All it did was anger him even more. He turned around and grasped her tightly by the shoulders. The fires in his eyes were igniting as he stared in to her tear filled gaze.
"Every time I look at your face all I can remember is what they did. You think it's easy just to forget all that? You have their BLOOD KHUSHI. BECAUSE OF YOUR BLOOD, MY MOTHER'S BLOOD WAS SHED."
Khushi couldn't believe it. He was completely lost. It was as if they went back in time to the days, where he was The ASR. There was no sense of love anywhere in his hazel eyes; just pure anger and pain.
"Bu-"He cut Khushi off before she could finish her sentence.
"JUST SHUT UP KHUSHI, JUST SHUT UP. You were the reason my family fell apart! GET AWAY FROM ME KHUSHI, GET OUT OF MY LIFE FOREVER."
***
Khushi slid against the window and let her tears stream. Those were the very words that casted a shadow in her life. That day Khushi walked out of his life forever. A hollow emptiness followed with her on the journey to recovery, but nothing healed her wounds. The scars were raw and ripped out of her bones.
"Khushi betiya come soon. We are getting late beta." Garima shouted.
Holding on to the window pane, Khushi got up and walked out of her room. After 2 years she was going to set her foot to the very temple that tied their love together; the same temple where he threw her out of his life… But yet she didn't know it will be the same temple that will reunite their love back together…
Waiting eagerly for Part 3. Only Devi Maiyya & you can bring the two fools together in this tale.
Arnav Bitwaa has apparently had sufficient time to dwell on his hasty words and regret them. Khushi has apparently shed enough tears! He Devi Maiyya, help these nitwits.
