CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO: LOVE BLOOMS

Finally Khushi got back her Arnav. Arnav realised this time he was letting himself go away from Khushi to get lost forever and ever. But it's time to rectify and give another chance, a last chance. And he had this faith that he will not be betrayed, he will not be hurt anymore.

It was the sixth day and namkaran(naming) ceremony of the child. Akash and Payal's daughter's was to be named.

Khushi was feeling happy cause she had realised that she was finally able to crack the hard wall. But she was not in a hurry. She knew time will help her. If she can stay away from him for four long years..the four winters, why would she hurry to get the spring so fast? Let it be slow so that all the flowers in me blooms and no more haste.

He needs some time to realise that he is doing right by giving her a second chance.

But she didn't share anything with anybody. Luckily Akash's daughter has been getting all the attention and so the change in her was unnoticed. She was smiling once more. And she cried in happiness.

That night after the night in Nainital was the most memorable(refer CHAPTER SIX: WHAT IS THIS LOVE CALLED??)

Aman was in jail, so Arnav being the named-brother of Payal took part in the ceremony. Khushi was happy to see him, but tried to be normal. But suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder, she turned back to find it was Arnav. She had tears brimming in her eyes. But Arnav wiped off the tears. He looked at her in awe. She was wearing sindoor, hidden by her hair so that no one can see it, but it was not unnoticed now. Actually she had been wearing it. But in that day when it was raining it had washed away, so he didn't notice.

Arnav: Khushi?

Khushi silently looked at his eyes.

Arnav: do you have any name?

Khushi: no. (she lied. She wanted Arnav to speak. She had a name. SHILPA)

Arnav: really?

Khushi: I thought you will be naming her.

Arnav: oh.

Khushi: what had you thought?

Arnav: SHILPA.

Khushi smiled..

Her eyes were again watery.

Arnav: I know you must have thought the same name.

Khushi: yes.

Arnav hugged her.

Arnav: I am..I am..so..sorry.

Khushi: you don't need to be.

Finally few months have gone..and now Khushi had got back her smile, Arnav had got back his heart. There was happiness everywhere..

Five years had altogether passed in between their last smile and happiness. Five years ago it was when they had left each other out of misjudgments and misunderstandings and misconceptions. It was over. The storm, the war was over. The battle of troy took ten years. And this battle of took five magnificent years of different lives. Initiated by Sanyukta long ago..the consequences were drastic in these five years and finally the catastrophe was over. They were going to begin their life finally in peace and tranquility.

It was the day when Anjali's second child born. Anjali made them agree to marry.

Anjali was admitted to hospital earlier as there was complications this time. Anjali was talking to Khushi.

Anjali: Khushi please..please..marry Arnav. The time has come. He will no more deny. I might not survive.

Khushi: no..Di. First you come home. You will be alright.

Anjali: the doctor can't assure this time.

Arnav enters..

Anjali: Chotte I don't know if you can see me or not

Arnav: Di..don't tell like this. You will be alright.

Anjali: keep a promise.

Arnav: later.

Anjali: marry Khushi.

Arnav: Di.. ..Di.. you know..

Anjali: you both love each other but none of you can restart or think of it again..why?

Khushi: Di.. don't stress yourself.. this is no good..

Arnav: yes Di..Khushi is right.

Anjali: I know. But why both of you are running away to give name to this relation? Last time there were problems..but now when everything is over and all things are good..why don't you start?

Arnav: it is too late. I don't think we can be happy by marrying each others. We are not..

Anjali: last time and this time has lot things changed. Chotte please..we are noticing both of you for one year. And the last six months both of you are full in love..then why??

Suddenly Anjali's pain started..

Arnav: doctor.. doctor..

The doctor came running..

Anjali: doctor, stop.

Arnav: Di what are you doing? Are you mad?

Anjali: I had to. Promise me.

Arnav: Di..later.

Anjali: no. now or never. Else my life is at your decision.

Arnav: yes..promise.

Anjali was taken into the operation theatre.

Khushi and Arnav looked at each other. Yes Di was right. Time has come to name their relation..they need to marry and become one for ever and ever.

Anjali had a son this time. His name was Saahil.

The name Khushi had thought five years before..

Finally three months have gone and today was Arnav and Khushi's engagement.

There was lot of pomp and enjoyment and the couples were very happy.

But unfortunately life is not a bed of roses for Arnav and Khushi.

There had been some problem every time in their life and this time it was no different.
