Chapter 24 (precap)
He took her lips in an intense kiss and released her after biting her bottom lip softly.
They walked together to the dining hall to join the rest for lunch. Arnav sat at his usual seat and Khushi went in the kitchen to help Indira and was welcomed with a wide grin and a dramatic wink. She giggled, knowing how much she would get teased but it was a welcome distraction, considering Anjali Di's annoying presence. Indira and Khushi helped Murali set the table and serve lunch.
Here too Anjali spoke about the holiday and Arnav patiently answered all her question, while Indira and Khushi had their communication going on with their eyes. This was how it was going to be till the baby arrived. Anjali would have a thing or two to say about everything and everybody.
After lunch Khushi walked with Arnav to the door and he leaned towards her for a kiss, but she leaned her head back away from him. He was surprised "Kya?" he asked.
She gestured with her head asking him to see who was coming towards them and he immediately straightened. Anjali walked slowly towards them and spoke to Arnav "can you please get someone to pick up a box of saffron, the box that I have has very little left."
"Arre…Di, I will get it for you….you need it from that Mewawala Dry Fruits store, right?" Khushi offered, trying to pacify her for their argument earlier.
Anjali was in no mood to be understanding and snapped "if you were this concerned about your brother's wife, you would have got it for me and not waited for me to beg for a refill."
