Arnav sat on the sofa trying to slowly rotate his neck when Khushi barged in with a bottle in hand.Her face full of excitement.Seeing her like this made him happy but at the sametime worry crept into him.Whenever Khushi gets this look on her face it means only one thing.'TROUBLE'for him!.
"Arnavji hum aagai"she beamed at him.
"Khushi yeh kya hai tumhare haath main?"
"Yeh chamkeli ki thel buaji ne kudh banaya hai.Humne jiji se pooch kar lekhar aaye aap ke liye"
Arnav confused"what the?? mere liye?Iss thel se tum kya karne wale ho"
"Aap ki yeh what the what the se aap ka galla teek nahi hoga ho sirf hummare buaji ki thel karsaktha hai"
"Khushi rehnedo main Dr. ke paas jah kar check karloonga"
"Arey Arnavji daactor ke paas jaane ki koi zaroorath nahi hai.Hum hai na,hum yuhin teek kardhenge.Aap pehle chup chaap betiye.Aise nahi..Aide"She made him sit in the angle she wanted him to.Then went behind him with the oil in hand.
"Khushi tum kya karne waale ho"unsure what she is upto now that she moved away from his view.
"Humne kaha na bus aise hi bete rahiye"with that she poured some oil in her left hand.Then rubbed both the hands together so now her hands are full of oil."Buaji hamesha kehdhethi ki iss thel se thoda sa maalish karne se koi bhi sprain teek ho jaayega"
"Maalish??"hearing it he was little excited thinking Khushi has to touch him for that.But Khushi is Khushi who always does the unexpected.
She started rubbing the oil on the sprained side of his neck in a hurry as if by applying it fast she can remove the sprain fast.
This made Aranav's neck pain more as she moved with her fingers across the sprained part fast."Khushi oww tum kar kya rahi ho sambaal ke"
The smell of the oil made arnav sneeze making him wince in pain as neck starined along with every sneeze"Achooo"
"Arnavji bus ho gaya kuch dher aur"having fully rubbed the oil on the sprained part now.
"Khushi mujhe yeh smell se allergy ho raha hai tum hatto main sambaal loonga"
"Shhh Arnavji"with that she held his neck in her hands and tried twisting his neck fast to the other side.
"ouchhh Khushiii"He yelled in pain trying to get up but Khushi was faster she held his shoulders to stop him from moving and again she tried twisting it from left to right fast.
"Aarghhh Khushiii stop stop now" with that he pulled himself away from her.
"Arnavji rukhiye"
"Stop Aur nahi.kushi tum mujhe marwaogi" with that he stood up moving away when his leg slipped and he fell down on the floor hard "Ouchhh"
He yelped and touched the floor to find some oil spilt on it."Yeh ladki mujhe paagal karke chodegi"he muttered
"Hey devi maiyaa yeh kya hogaya ! Maaf kijiye arnavji galti se hummari haath se thel gir gayi hogi.Devi maiya yeh kya ho raha hai hum kuch karna chathe hain tho kuch aur hojatha hai"
She tried to pull up arnav who is struggling to get up as his leg kept slipping.She remembered how he had falled like this few months ago when he fell ill and she took care of him by staying awake the enitre night.Even that time it was her fault and now again it repeated but this time it was worser.'Devi maiya shakthi dhena'with that she pulled Arnav up with all her strength.
With the sudden pull they both lost balance and they fell on the nearby bed with arnav falling on top of Khushi.
Their eyes held together locked, both mesmerised with each other.Arnav forgot all his pain completely lost in her brown depths.Khushi felt her heart beating faster.At that exact moment they heard a sound behind them."Mehe hen"They jerked apart to find lakshmi at the bed side who had strolled in as usual through the pool side entrance.
Coming out of their bubble.Khushi reacted first moving away from beneath Arnav quickly trying to escape his close proximity.
"Arey Lakshmiji aap kab aaye.Oh acha Aap ne humme neeche bulane keliye aayi hai hum bus thodi dher main thaiyar ho ke aathe hain."
Arnav pulled himself up staring at how Khushi is interacting with lakshmi as if they are old friends which probably they are he thought smirking.
He tried walking but realised he couldnt walk without limping.
"Rukhiye hum aapki madhath karthe hain"she saw him moving and came running towards him.
"No no no rehnedo Khushi tum waise hi mera bahot madhath ki.kya tum mujhe pls shanthi se saas lene dhogi?"
She pouted.He left to the washroom to get ready in his current condition he may as well work out of home today he thought.
At the drawing room all were sitting and having conversation.Khushi came down and sat next to naniji with lakshmiji on her lap.
Nani asked her - "Khushi bitiya aapki thabeth kaisan hai"
Khushi - "ab hum teek hai naniji"
Nani smiled nodding.
Khushi looked around nervously "Naniji di kahaan hai?"
Naniji - "Anjali bitiya apan kamre ma aaram karahe the"
Khushi smiled"Acha teek hain"
Mamiji ignored Khushi and was busy applying nail polish on her nails.
NK came and sat greeting everyone with his usual "Good morning everybody"Khushi smiled up at him.
"Hey Khushiji aapke sharbath ab kaise hai"
Mami and nani looked up at him confused.
Khushi smiled "sharbath nahi nanehji thabeth.Hum ab bilkul teek hai. pooch ne ke liye dhanyavath"
NK held his ears "sorry thabeth"
Aakhash came in carrying his laptop bag.He ignored Khushi and asked naniji "Dadi bhai kahaan hai"
Khushi answered "Jeejaji Arnavji thaiyaar ho rahe hai aa jaayenge"
He nodded at her.Just when Arnav came down.
All looked up at him shocked.He was walking down with his head turned awkwardly to his left side and limping.
All spoke at the same time"Bhai ! Nannav ! Chotte ! Arnav Bituwa!"
Nani rushed towards him "Chotte yeh ka hui gawa aapko yeh kaisan haalath hai"
Mamiji - "Arnav bituwa tum ka march phast ma ice right ki thara ice left karke aa rahe ho.Aur yeh tumri peir ko ka hua.Commom tellz us"
NK - "Hey nannav mere bhai kya hua"
Khushi was about to open her mouth when Arnav answered "kuch nahi main nahathe wakth bathroom main slip ho gaya tha tho neck sprain ho gaya aur per bhi fhissal gaya"
Mamiji - "Baathroom ma shlipping hello hi bye bye"
Aakhash - "Bhai chaliye Dr. ke paas chalthe hain"
Arnav - "Its ok aakhash it'l be alright"
Mamiji - "Kaisan alright arnav bituwa go to Daactor pileech"
Khushi kept quiet upset that all her plans had backfired and Arnavji is still in pain.She vowed to herself that she'l make Arnavji alright.
