Part 6- Finally,Back Home.

Armaan POV

We were standing in front of her house.She was still nervous about going inside.We had reached just an hour ago and I had come with riddhima to her house,I knew she needed me.I had told rahul to go home,as he was going to live with me.He was going to put my luggage and come back after freshening up.I saw some tears escaping riddhima's eyes.i turned her to face me.I took her face in my hands and wiped her tears with my thumbs,she looked at me with teary eyes.''Shh'Basket don't cry.I am here with you na.Everything going to be all right.I'll make everything allright.You hae stop being nervous and face them.''I put a light kiss on her forehead while she nodded.

I grabbed her hand and rang the bell while she hid behind me.Dr.Shashank opened the door and smiled at me.I and dr.shashank had become close in riddhima's absence as we both lost the most precious things in our life.I gently tuggeg at Riddhima's hand brought her forward.Tears started flowing from both pairs of eyes.I took both of them inside.Dr.Shashank held his head low and started,"Riddhima beta.Mujhe maaf kardo.Maine tumhare saath bahut galat kiya,main apni beti ki khushi bhi nahi dekh paaya."And with that he broke dow.Riddhima ran towards him and hugged him.She cried,"Aisa mat boliye Papa,main aapse gussa nahi hu.Aapne yeh sab jaan buchkar thodi kiya." With that she wiped her tears and said,"Ab rona bandh karo aap rote hue ache nahi dikte."

I went towards padma mom who was standing at the door and looking at her family with moist eyes.I hugged her sideways and wiped her tears.She kissed my forehead and caressed my face ad smiled at me.I gestured her to go towards riddhima while riddhima saw her mother and ran towards her mother and starting crying,"Mumma,Maine aapko bahut miss kiya''while padma mom decided to tease them a little bit."Haan haan jaanti hu kitna miss kiya?Meri bachi kitni patli ho gayi hai."Riddhima frowned and hugged her again.

I decided to give them a little time and decided to call Muskaan and told her to bring the gang.Dr.shashank looked at me and thanked me through the eyes while I nodded and smiled.After I told Muski to bring the gang,I went towards the living room and saw riddhima and her parents smiling.I sat near them and asked,"Kya chal raha hai?Arre listen basket,Angie and the gang are coming.They don't about you,only Muski knows."She nodded while I looked towards Dr.Shashank and said,"Sir we want to tell you something"He looked at riddhima and she told him to go on.They told them about he whole marriage and how they wanted to get married properly.Her parents were more than happy.They only wanted our both's happiness.Then padma aunty said,"Chalo main aap log ke liye chai banati hu" but then ridz sai,"Aaj papa ke liye chai main banaaogi!"

I said,"Chalo main tumhaari help karta hu.""Armaan vaapis hume vaapis shaahi kheer jaisi koi cheez nahi banana."With that they started walking towards the kitchen."Oh please ek hi baar galti hui hai,who bhi maine jaan bujhkar aisi banayi.Main chaahtha tha ki meri hone waali wife ko complex na haa ki uska husband use acha khaana banata hai."Riddhima's mouth turned into a O."Hawww iska matlab tum hamesha mujhe jhooth bolt the ki main acha khaana banati hu."I said,"Obviously Basket"She huffed and smacked me"HMPH.aaj se main tumhare liye kuch nahi banaogi.Insensitive jerk kahin ke."

They continued fighting while two pairs of eyes watched the bickering and smiled.Dr.shashank hugged his wife sideways while the both knew they had taken the right decision and both went away.

The Bell rang and riddhima ran towards before any of us could reach it.She opened the door and saw a shocked Anjie with her mouth wide open.Riddhima threw herself on Anjie and shouted,"Diii.I missed you"And then started the tear tanks while I and Dr.Shashank chuckled at the scene while Padma mom looked a little teary-eyed.Now I know where riddhima got her senti-nature from!With that started the reunion with some apologies,tears,hugs and laughs and we decided to leave the past behind.Muski had called a pandit and he fixed the marriage after two weeks.

While I excused myself for the bathroom,I BBMed Basket to meet me.She excused herself for going to change.She walking to her room while I pulled her into the guest room and pinned her to the wall.She looked at me with wide eyes and said,"Paagal ho kya Armaan kuch bhi karte rehte ho.Sab log neeche mera wait kar rahe hai."While I chuckled and kissed her cheek and said,"Aankhen choti karo basket daravni lagti ho"While she said Haww,I said while putting her hair behind her ear"So miss basket,ab humari finally shaadi hone waali hai.So ready to to-be-mrs malik!Vaise who toh tum ban hi chuki ho!" and caressed her cheek with the back of my hand while she blushed and looked down.I put my finger under her chin and lifted her face and leaned closer and took her lips in a gentle kiss while passion took over and we both responded equally.We came out for air and our foreheads touched.I whispered near her lips"I love you Basket."She looked at me lovingly while I put my finger under her chin and lightly caressed her lower lip with my thumb and said,"Waise basket kiss acha khaasa kar leti ho"I chuckled while she blushed,smacked me and ran away.I smiled to myself and said,"Oye hoye."

I came down to see everyone still engrossed in their conversation while riddhima was still blushing.I winked at her and smiled while she fake glared at me.Then the door bell rang,Riddhima got up but I gestured her to sit down.I then said,"Muskaaan jaake dekhna darwaze pe kaun hai?"She looked at me weirdly and said,"oyee hero!Main kyu dekhu?"And I said "aree Muskaan jaa naa!Shaayad tera surprise ho"She smiled wide and ran towards the door.

She opened the door and smiled wide but then she realised the person standing in front of and tears starting flowing from her eyes!She gasped and stood looking at the person in front of her.

Part 7- And Life goes on.

"Ra'Ra..hul"Muskaan said between her sobs.She hugged him tight but then left him suddenly.Maybe she remembered all the hurt she went through."Muskaan"Rahul said in an almost whisper""Muskaan I am'"Muskaan then cut him in between and said,"Don't Rahul abhi nahi.Main abhi koi baat nahi karna chahti."With that she left from there.Rahul looked at her back longingly.I put a hand on his shoulder.He turned around and greeted everyone.Atul,Anjie and nikki hugged and asked him their questions.After knowing their truth all agreed to help them.
We all left from there as we had to report to sanjeevani tomorrow morning.Basket and Rahul also joined sanjeevani.

FROM NOW ON I AM GIVING DATES:The day on which the wedding date was decided was 6^th july.The wedding would happen on 20^th july and engagement on 18^th july.The fields in which the doctor's specialized-Dr.Riddhima-paedritician,Dr.Armaan,Dr.Anjali-Neurologist under Dr.Shashank,Dr.Rahul-Cardiologist under Dr.Shubhankar,Dr.Muskaan-Gynaecologist under Dr.Keerti(Her fear of blood subsided a bit),Dr.Atul-Oncologist,Dr.Nikita-Surgeon under Dr.Abhimanyu.

7^th july

Armaan was pacing the locker room and looking at the door from time to time and saying,"Yeh Basket kahaan reh gayi!"Muskaan and Atul entered and passes each other a mischievous smile and Atul kept a hand on Armaan's shoulder and said,"Arre Bhai kaise hai be tu??"and then passing a wink to Muskaan he sang,"Aap itna kyu ghabraaa rahe ho??"(It is a jagjit singh ghazal in which has the word muskarahe ho) and muskaan also kept a hand on his shoulder and made a melodramatic expression and sang,"Kya gham hai jo chupa rahe ho?"Armaan passed a glare to both of them and said,"Muski,Champ irritate mat karo mujhe"

Just then Riddhima entered laughing with Nikki.As usual,our hero started gawking at her and after feeling his gaze on her,she blushed a deep red.As he was going to complete his 'Basket' call,the interns entered and JP shouted,"Armaan bhaiyaaa aap aa gaye hai??Kaise hai aap?"Armaan smiled slightly and said,"Haan theek hu"And then Jp again shouted as Naina and Shilpa were hugging Riddhima,"Arre Riddhima flowerji aap bhi aayi hai?Kahaan chali gayi thi aap?".Sid looked shocked as he heard riddhima's name and aal the hurt came back to him.he looked angrily at her.As Riddhima was bombarded with question,Armaan tried to call her but she was surrounded by the interns.HE then shouted,"Baskettt" and everyone looked startled.He used the opportunity caught riddhima's hand and dragged her out of the locker room and into the fire-escape.

As soon as armaan pinned her against the wall of the FE,she started to escape out of hold,"Armaan chodo mujhe.Kya karte rehte ho?"Armaan frowned and pouted,"Arre par main tumhe kab se bula raha tha par tum sunti hi nahi ho!"Riddhima started her chatter again,"Arre par aisa bhi koi karta hai kya?Yeh chilaana aur khichkar laana hai.Dimaag hi nahi hai!Log kya bol rahe honge''"(typical jenny style)Armaan smiled at his cute basket as she kept on talking.He put his lips on her and her eyes widened and he pulled out after giving her a tight kiss."Agar itna bak-bak karogi toh yeh hi ek tareeka bachega tumhe chup karnae ka"She frowned,"Arre par'."Armaan cut her in between and leaned towards her,"Vaapis karo??"She looked scandalised and zipped her lips(the car waala scene in DMG),He smiled at her and said,"Good girl.Main tumhe kabse dhundh raha tha!Actually jab tum yahaan nahi thi tab main surgery jaate time tumhaari photo dekhkar jaata tha par ab tu yahaan ho na main tumhe dekh sakta hu."She smiled at her cute fianc and encircled her hands around his neck and pecked his cheek and said,"Good luck Armaan and I know your surgery will go well."

He encircled his hands around her waist,"Arre basket aaj romantic mood main ho.Aaj suraj kahaan se nikla?"She smacked his chest and was about to retort when his pager beeped.He frowned and said,"saale kabab main haddi.Oh shit main toh bhul gaya tha.Surgery!"He kissed her forehead once,"Gotta go Basket.I'll meet you before lunch,Dr.Keerti ne sabko lunch ke pehle bulaya hai!Bye!Love you!"HE kissed her cheek once and left after riddhima said,"Bye!Love you too!"Riddhima shook her head and went out smiling while a pair of angry eyes watched this exchange.

She met all the other people in sanjeevani like Dr.keerti,Dr.Shubhankar,Dr.Abhimanyu,Umar bhai and the other nurses who were were very happy to see her back.They could sense the cheerful and bubbly riddhima back in her.She also met Sister lovely and thanked her for all the help.She finished her duties and was going to the conference room when a hand pulled her into the store-room.She felt Armaan hugging and she hugged him back.She parted and saw a huge smile on his face and she smiled.He exclaimed,"The surgery was successful Basket."She said,"I knew armaan the surgery would go well,but now lets move before Dr.Keerti kills us for coming late."And she dragged him to the conference hall.

They entered the room and saw all the interns and doctors settled.They left their hands as soon as they heard Dr.Keerti's voice behind them and settled beside each other after Anjie.Dr,Keerti started,"Doctors and Interns I would like to introduce a new intern,Dr.Pamela(she is a Indian)She will tell us about herself,Dr.Pamela!"But Dr.Pamela was busy gawking at the greek god in front of her while the others looked at her,dressed in a mini-skirt and a spaghetti top,she was ogling at Armaan.Armaan shifted uncomfortably in his seat while riddhima glared at her.Anjie and Rahul chuckled at Armaan and he glared at both of them.Dr.Keerti shouted,"Dr.Pamelaa!"This brought her out of her daze.And she fumbled,"Yes maam"Dr keerti barked,"Introduce yourself!"She said,"I am Pamela but you can call me Pam.I have transferred here from Sanjeevani Delhi."Dr.Keerti said,"Enough the second announcement is Doctors,now on you will have cabins.But since the space is less two have to share the cabin while one person can have the whole cabin.So decide mutually among yourselves and tell me."As they started deciding,Armaan exclaimed,"Me and Basket.I said first so I win!"All looked at him weirdly while riddhima glared at him and turned red in embaressment.While he smiled sheepishly,Anjali said,"I want the single cabin.I booked first so I win",then Atul said,"Aur main anjali ke bina kaise rahunga toh rahul main tere saath rehlunga,kyu rahul??"All glared at him as that was their plan to keep rahul and muskaan together.Rahul started,"But main toh muskaan ke saath''."But muskaan cut him between and said,"oye khotte.Mujhe tere saath nahi rehna.Main nikki ke saath rahungi,hum pura din gossip kar sakte hai,kyun nikki?"She glared at nikki while poor nikki nodded in yes!

Then they told Dr.Keerti about the pairings and she agreed.Then Dr.Keerti faced the interns and said,"Interns from now on,you will be assisting the doctors,there is a chit in the bowls and you have to pick them and after one month we will change the doctors."She passed the bowl to the interns.Naina,Pamela and Shilpa all wanted Armaan while Sid wanted anyone other than RIddhima or Armaan.JP wanted Dr.Anjali and Yuvi could do with anyone.When sid opened his chit,he was shocked to see his chit,it said armaan and before he could react,Pamela snatched his chit and gave him Riddhima's chit.Pam smirked to herself at her victory.She so wanted that greek god.Before he could protest,Dr.Keerti asked him his doctor and he mumbled,"Riddhima"Riddhima turned pale and Armaan just squeezed her hand.And then Dr.Keerti asked Pam and she said with a seductive smile,"Dr.Armaan" while armaan gulped hard and looked at riddhima who was glaring at him while Anjie and Rahul were giving him a 'You-are-gone-now' look, while Muskaan,nikki,atul were stifling a laugh at poor armaan's condition.

The other pairs were JP-Anjali,Shilpa-Rahul,Atul-Yuvi,Naina-Muskaan.As soon as this finished,Dr.Keerti said,"Disperse"All stood up as Dr.keerti went out and Pam came towards Armaan and put her hand forward and said,"Hi Armaan,I am Pamela and you can call me Pam!Nice muscles,I must say!So you work out!"He passed her a nervous smile and shook her hand amd looked at riddhima who was fuming.She came there and said,"You should say DR.ARMAAN not just Armaan.Its a hospital not your home."She stormed off saying this.Armaan eyes widened and he ran behind her and shouted,"Baskettt,Ruko toh sahiii!"He followed her into the canteen and saw her sitting at a table with Anjie and Muski and hands crossed her hands across her chest.She was red in anger.

HE chuckled at his CUTE basket.Cute??Focus dude,Basket ko manana hai!He thought to himself.He brought a cappuccino with a smiling face and a mars and kept it near her

She turned her face to hide her smile and then took her spoon in hand and stirred making the smile face go away but he had seen her suppressing the smile.He put a hand on his heart and did the stabbing thing while she stirred the coffee.He leaned towards her ear and whispered,"I love you"while she smiled and hid it.He took her hands in his and said,"Sorry na Basket meri kya galti hai ki woh mujhse aise baat kar rahi thi"He pouted at that and his pager beeped and he mumbled,"Hamesha wrong timing"He said,"Basket agar tum mujhse baat nahi karogi toh main nahi jaaonga aur phir mujhe D.Keerti se daat milegi!kYa tum yehi chahti ho?"He made a puppy dog face at that.She smiled at this adorable person in front of her and kept a hand on his cheek and said,"Nautanki kahin ke.Sorry Armaan mujhe tum par gussa nahi hona chahiye tha,galti tumhaari nahi thi"She held her ears and pouted.He shook his head and said,"Its okay Basket.Chalo main jaatu hu nahi toh Dr.Keerti aa jaayegi!Bye!"He kissed her cheek and ran off while she smiled.

Riddhima's duty was going to get over at 8 but Dr.Keerti allowed her to go home at 5 as she had finished her work.They had to shift to their cabins tomorrow. Tomorrow was her birthday but nobody had told her any plans,not even Armaan.Maybe they all forgot.She thought about the conversation she had with sid.

FLASHBACK

She and sid were going to their duties when she stopped Sid and said,"I am sorry Sid for whatever happened between but I couldn't ever love you!Sorry but this marriage had to break."Sid just nodded his head and said,"Its okay Riddhima.This marriage wasn't meant to be."I knew from his expression that he was still not okay with but I didn't care about it anymore.Its only about Armaan from now on.I always ignored him and hurt him but not anymore!He matters the most to me!!

FLASHBACK OVER

As she was thinking Armaan came in front of her and a wide smile came on her face,all stress gone.He started,"I know you have duty till 8 but I have to go now.I have some work.I'll talk to you later.Bye!"He kissed her forehead and strode off before she could tell him about her duty getting over early.Maybe he has some urgent work.

She was going to sign out when she got an emergency.It took an hour more and she made her way out.She reached her home and was shocked to see Armaan with her mom laughing at something.She frowned and said,"Armaan what are doing here?I thought you had some work"They fumbled a bit and he said,"arre riddhima you are early??"Riddhima said,"My duty got over.I asked you a question I suppose!"she raised a eyebrow at him.He said after a bit,"I came to meet padma mom.Can't I come to meet her and this was my work.Can't I come to meet you padma mom??seems like your daughter has a problem"

As she was going to retort,Shashank came from behind and said,"Finally my daughter.yeh log tumhe bhi pareshaan kar rahe hai beta?"she nodded in yes."Armaan meri beti ko pareshaan mat Karo..pata hai mujhe bhi Kabse tang kar rahe hai!This so-called fianc of yours is flirting with MY wife!"She went and smacked him,"Haww Armaan tumhe sharam nahi Aati mere mumma ke saath flirt kar rahe ho!"Armaan said,"usse flirt karna nahi compliment kar dena kehte hai!"he whispered in her ear,"waise tum mujhe tumse flirt karne nahi deti isliye dusro se karni Padti hai!"She blushed and smacked him again.Then he looked at his watch and said "oh shit main late ho Gaya,mujhe kaam hai!main baadme milta hu aap logon se!Nahi mom khaana kabhi aur.bye"he said when padma tried to protest.riddhima came to leave him at the door"bye basket.main raat ko tumhe phone karungi!"he pecked her cheek and went away.

Armaan finished his work and reached home at 7.30.As soon as he sat on the couch,somebody started to ring the bell impatiently.He frowned and opened and found two devils smirking at him.Muski and Nikki!Something was surely going on!He looked at them nervously and said,"hi Muski,hey Nikki tum log Yahaan kaise?"they winked each other and commanded,"you are taking us shopping!""what??Are you out of your mind??"he shouted.Muski dragged him out by the collar while Nikki grabbed his house and car keys.He kept talking,"But why are you taking me?"Nikki said nonchalantly-"we need somebody to carry our bags"he looked at them disbelievingly,"what??I am not your husband or"he turned towards Muski and made air signs"your 'probable' boyfriend,that I will carry your bags!"Muski scowled at 'probable'Nikki said,"abhi is busy in a surgery and Muski wouldn't let us take Rahul!"Armaan replied,"but why me?you could also take Atul!and I carry only MY basket's bags!"he grinned at that,while they both pushed him in the car and Nikki sat in the driver's seat and Muski sat beside her while Nikki said-"First we can't take Atul because it is YOUR basket's birthday tomorrow and nobody knows her choice better than you and technically you are carrying your Basket's bags as we are searching a birthday gift for her.

It was 8.15 now and they were in the mall and they had not got any gifts for riddhima.They bumped into Sid,Shilpa,yuvi and naina.Armaan said,"hi guys!"And then he saw something in red and said to Muski and Nikki,"I think I got something.You guys talk while I'll check it and come!bye guys!"he said and ran away.Naina asked,"what are you doing here Muski di?"Muskaan started telling while Nikki ran after Armaan,"Actually tomorrow is riddhima's birthday and I and Nikki wanted to search something for ridzy and we dragged Armaan along as he knows Ridzy the best!"naina asked"but doesn't Armaan want to buy a gift for Di?"Then Muski said,"Nahi uske gifts toh ready hai!bechare ko Kabse ghar jaana hai apni surprise ki planning khatam karne!arre lagta woh log ko kuch mil Gaya!mujhe bula rahe hai!bye guys!and haan hum kal lunch main Ridzy se cake katwaange!tum log bhi aana!"and she strode off.Sid was angry as till last year he was the one who could gave riddhima a nice surprise while this Armaan had spoiled it last year while Shilpa was thinking why couldn't be lucky that Armaan gave her surprises.

Armaan finally entered his house at 10.30.He was exhausted but the mall trip was a nice idea as he got a nice dress for riddhima.He checked all the arrangements once again and took an 45 minutes nap.

Here riddhima was calling Armaan but he was not picking up.She got frustrated that he slept,that means he didn't remember her birthday!Di also had night duty.Nobody remebered her birthday,thinking this she slept.

At exactly 120'clock,somebody whispered in her ear "Happy birthday Basket!I love you" and he kissed her cheek.She was confused and sat on her bed rubbing her eyes!Then she realised and turned towards him,gave him a big smile,kissed his dimple and hugged him and mumbled,"Thank you Armaan!"
