However nutty ASR might find all this but these 700 odd years old myths and legends are bound to seep into his conscience and conscious. Mr. Namboothiri is a very wise man I say.

Kashi is a brilliant character you have created, sassy, intelligent, self-dependant, having a purity to her that brings forth the instinctive trust and response of love from children and snakes😊

I too trust Nalan's mischevious glint implicitly 😉

A question for ASR - why this kiss fest when given even half an opportunity? Can't be just adrenaline? Not complaining though 😃

Slowly but surely Arnav's opinion of Kashi seems to be changing ...

Lost in his thoughts he wanders deep into the forest looking for Kashi and Nalan and to his horror he is introduced to the sacred Shivan !!! another living legend connected to the Kalarikkal House ...

" he stopped suddenly when he heard a hiss. He felt the hair on the back of his neck and arms rise up as his heart-rate took a nose-dive before surging to life with an intensity that made him think that it was trying to break out of his chest. "

He is saved by Kashi ... who tells him that Shivan is very perceptive and has already figured out that there is someone new who has stepped into his territory hence the attack ... finds it very amusing that the house has a history along with the King Cobras who have been the protectors of the family ...

Loved the " With or Without provocation ? " thought on kisses ... 😆 the gratitude and punishment kisses ... he sure seems to have a one track mind where Kashi is concerned ... 😉 ...

Nalan , Shivan and the stunning pictures on the first page.. feel the story dancing on my skin..

its so breathtaking , this imagination, in its simplicity , that I am reminded of a genius work ,Malgudi days:)

And she clearly had the unencumbered adoration of Nalan,whose judgment for some reason he trusted implicitly. He trusted no one's judgment implicitly. Not even his uncle's and aunt's or Akash's, and they were the only kin he had left and the only ones who received his closest approximation of fondness.

There was something about the boy, though, something that was innocent and wise all at the same time' he had figured out that the boy had a propensity for lying ' he hadn't been able to figure out exactly what he lied about ' but just the same, he knew that the boy lied' in spite of that, or maybe even because of it, he liked the boy.

omygod, that was adorable! no not that, but .. oh hell i just loved it.. I so loved it, the crazy-dissolving-into laughter kind of love.
