when she was narrating Shivan's story i felt like am reading some mythic story..then it turns into the kissing festival 😆

THE mighty ASR felt protected by a girl and 8 yr old boy ;)

The encounter with no less a denizen of the forest than a regal King Cobra - one with a name and a history associated with that venerable illam was fascinating.
What I loved was the way Kashi saved him from Shivan and even more the way Arnav felt 'protected' by this strange girl and an 8 year old boy!

The kisses were a bonus :)

I continue to enjoy the storytelling...thanks for the quick update!

Of course when the back of arnav's hair stood on hearing the hiss, so did mine. 😆

Tell me, when you sit down to write an update of KH, do you put kashi ink in it or arnav ink, tell na please, because kashi is just a little bit more cuter than arnav. 😃

hi! i am a stalker too ! though you send out pm dutifully i am just impatient!!
loved the history of shivan! even i have an 300 yrs old ancestral home and it is still guarded by a snake! infact killing a snake is called sarpa dosha !loved it!!

also the best part - Kisses!!!! 😳😳this is the best thing i have ever read!!

Good old legends...snakes protecting a family for generations...It is indeed sad that a 700 years old house with such a history and mystery is at danger for a mere bank loan...

Arnav caught Kashi off guard not once but twice...nice job there! I love the word play and snarky comments
Was it really poor choice of words or freudal slip?! Ah,I would love to go with the latter...but is it true dat no one except obligated ones love Kashi?...I don't think Nalan is obligated by any means...

for the lack of better adjectives, beautiful updates D

Outstanding. I agree, leaves you wanting more. The cobra story was a beautiful touch, co-existence with nature. Something that city dwellers have forgotten. Incredible that the connection of the snakes and the family goes back 700 years. The analogy between the snake being the end of a line and the Namboodiri family having no heir is incredible.

Arnav seems to be developing a habit of kissing her when he can. Becoming her teacher in that respect. the connection between Nalan and Arnav is also interesting. Would be great to find out more of the boy's background. I have a feeling it might be similar to Arnav's in that he is an orphan too.
