Well written as usual! Our lil' Nalan is still upset with Arnav. Hope Arnav gets a chance to win his one and only friend back! Loved the last part Devi...simply beautiful!

and this should follow right after she told him he'd never get the elusive hes after..

you surprise, your characters surprise, where they come from, and how they suddenly pick one end of the story and run spinning it so finely.. they all just become one of it.. very touching , very real, and so graceful.

I may sound very philosophical; when I say this…..it must be karma that has brought Arnav to KH. There is no other way I can look at it, from a commerce angle, the patriarch is neck deep in debt and one way or the other he would sell, so coming in to convince him may have been unnecessary, he would have given in anyway.

The incidents that have panned out show the plight of the Namboothiri family as well as Arnav's. It reeks of heart ache and sadness. Kashi may think Arnav has no love and he may be shallow, Arnav too has his views on them clinging on to a heritage that gives back nothing and takes everything from them.

There is nothing in this world that is absolute or true. Everyone has their own version of the truth and are convinced they are right, understandably so. I see it this way, it's karma…good or bad…..karma is what it all boils down to.
