Chapter 2

While Arnav was trying to think who Ishaan was... he almost forgot that he was so lost in his own thought that he paid no attention to what others were saying or anything... he just kept think about Khushi... he finally found his Khushi... theres nothing that can separate them again... but she hates him... what would he do to make her realise that he is guilty to the core...

Akaash: Hey bro... you ok?

Arnav: (snapped out of his dreamzone) huh?.. umm... er... yea.. im ok..

Akaash: u sure? U seeme to be lost?

Arnav: Im fine Akaash...

Enter Ishaan Sharma... their much awaited guest especially Khushi's...

Ishaan: Hello everyone...

Akaash: Hi there stranger! U seem to have forgotten us? Only ne u care about is Khushi..

Ishaan: (blushes) hey gorgeous (to Khushi)

Khushi: hey... ur late... where have u been? (smiles)

Ishaan: (kisses her cheek) sorry babe... got stuck at work... work is killing me...

Arnav witnessed all of this... it hurt him... it hurt him so much that he couldnt explain it to anyone.. no even to himself... He felt bad that these people here keep Khushi so happy... whereas he failed to do so... he failed their friendship.. he failed her... she had trusted him more than her life... but what had he done? He betrayed her! Ishaan and Khushi came to the table and then Arnav was introduced to him and they shaked hands... and arnav had a fake smile across his face o that no one would understand his inner feelings...

Dinner was over and it was time for Ishaan to leave...

Khushi: Hey!! ur leaving already? (pouts)

Ishaan: Sorry gorgeous... I got work really early tomorrow... and im extremely tired... gotta get some sleep... but if u want ill still stay.. (smiles)

Khushi: (giggles) ur crazy dumbo!! I was only kidding.. u need rest... and go get some...

Ishaan: (smiles) lunch tomorrow?

Khushi: done! (smiles and hugs him) goodnight!

Ishaan: Night princess... (kisses her on her cheek again)

with that... ishaan leaves a smiling khushi behind... Ishaan always made her day khushi thought... h was her best friend... one person she knew she could trust no matter what... initially she was scared that her heart would be broken again.. but gradually she knew that Ishaan could do nothing but make her happy... he always did... she wished goodnight to everyone and left for her room... arnav thought this was the best chance to talk to her.. and excused himself and follows her...

Arnav: (knocks)

Khushi: come in...

Arnav: (enters) hey khushi..

Khushi: (had her back faced towards the door.. her eyes wide open when she heard arnav... what would she do now? But she decided to act normal.. so she turned around..) hey arnav! Whats up? (smiles)

Arnav: How are you Khushi?

Khushi: Im well.. im well.. howve u been? Hows life? (smiles)

Arnav: (it killed arnav to see her pretending like everything was ok between them) why are you doing this Khushi?

Khushi: Doing what?

Arnav: pretending like theres nothing between us?

Khushi: whats there to pretend? It is true... there isnt anything between us!

Arnav: U are my best friend khushi!

Khushi: uhuh? Since when? (with a fake smile)

Arnav: SINCE ALWAYS DAMN IT! YOU ARE ALL I THOUGH ABOUT ALL THIS TIME!

Khushi: stop with the drama and stop screaming! My brother is just outside.. and I swear to god if u scream I will slap u so hard that you would forget your own name! (angry)

Arnav: Im sorry... but hear me out Khushi... I didnt know that lavanya was such a bitch.. and sid... him too..

Khushi: (cuts through) I dont care! Keep your explanations to yourself.. I couldnt care less!

Arnav: Im sorry Khushi.. I found out about them cheating a while after we were done..

Khushi: good for you... why are you telling me these again? (pissed)

Arnav: Because you need to know that you were right!

Khushi: (laughs) are you kidding me?! I know I was right! Im not stupid and neither am I blind! I saw them with my own eyes.. if I hadnt seen I would have accused her just like that! So u dont have to tell me that im right!

Arnav: Khushi please... please give me a chance?

Khushi: a chance for what?! Look arnav... I am not in the mood to talk to u.. now or ever! So leave right away!

Arnav: Khushi I heard what sid did to u...

Khushi: (froze as he said that... she started getting flashbacks of what happened that night... how she had his bite marks all over his neck and other places too... she had tears rolling down..) So u came here to sympathise? I see... are u done now?

Arnav: No khushi.. no!! I was so angry when I heard that... I beat the crap out of that bas***d!!

Khushi: oh so ur showing off... thank u my hero for giving me what according to u is the justice fore what you best frnds done to me... (said in a mocking way though she was very angry)

Arnav: This was no justice khushi!!! that wasnt even a percent of what he deserves... he deserves to die for what hes done... (tears in his eyes)

Khushi: I dont need your opinion... neither do I need to know about what your friend and girlfriend did! I was done with all these the day I left college... and I planned to forget it all... but thanks to u... u had to remind me...

Arnav: I didnt mean to hurt you khushi... I just...

Khushi: (cuts through) do u not understand or are u just deaf?! I said I dont care.. I dont give a shit!! not about u... and not about anyone! This is my life now... my brother... neha and ishaan! And as for my past.. I cant change it... and neither do I blame you... u never cared about me.. that wasnt ur fault..

Arnav: (comes forward and holds her and and is all teared up) no khushi.. please dont say that... I always cared about you!! in fact you are all I cared about!

Khushi: oh cut the crap!! and dont you dare touch me again! (pulls her hands away) save ur tears Mr. Raizada.. dont waste them on me cuz they dont affect me one bit.. if u cared u wouldve at least given ur so called "best friend" a chance to prove that what I was saying was true... but instead u left me there to get raped by your friend! (she was disgusted at what she just said... but she had to let it out)

Arnav: (silent)

Khushi: Please arnav... ur my brothers friend... and I dont want him to know anything about us... if you ever considered me a friend u will shut it! And for now... leave my room immediately... u will be staying here thus I cant avoid u.. but dont try talking to me unnecessarily... and never come to my room! I am not the Khushi u knew! Im done with being thrown around... I am not taking this shit anymore... so leave now!

Arnav thought it was best to leave her now thus he left her room... The pain he now felt inside his chest was unbearable.. is that what she thought about him.. she hated him that much that even his face now disgusts her? What has he done?! How is he ever going to fix this?

Precap: Khushi forced to help arnav set up his room by akaash...
