Part 22:
It was Evening.. Arnav reached the "XYZ" News Channel. All the reporters were already present in that room where the conference was held. He was in his Black Suit.. That was his trademark. Black suited him the most. Hair not gelled, shaved chest, top three buttons open of his shirt, no Waist coat and looks to die for.. He was about to enter the Conference room when he saw Khushi with Karan entering there.. They saw him and stopped.. Khushi was wearing a nice Red Anarkali Dress and had left her hair open..
Karan gave a angry look to Arnav who didnt even bother to look at him as his full concentration was on Khushi.. He was surprised to see her.. He knew she was in full mood to spoil this conference and was sure she would be denying the fact that she would continue this marriage with him. He had to think something for that. And he had less time since the Conference was about to start in few minutes.. She saw him once and then entered the Hall. Arnav followed her.. Karan moved aside to sit in the first row with the Media guys and Khushi and Arnav went straight to the Front Stage where the seats were reserved.. The Reporters started clicking the picture of the couples together. Arnav pulled her a chair showing some cool gestures there and she sat on it.. He sat next to her.. The conference started..
Gupta House and Raizada Mansion TV's were Switched On for the Live Telecast.
Reporter1: So Mr Arnav SIngh Raizada the sudden news about your marriage has created a hype everywhere.. Why was this hidden from the world for so long?
Arnav: Well.. It was hidden because I myself didnt believe in that marriage which happened when we were childrens.. It was just for our families that we had been tied together that time.. And I never wanted to accept this fact after that.. But then now I realise what that marriage meant to us.. And I want to continue this sweet relationship further..
Reporter2: And What about you Mrs Khushi Raizada..?( Khushi was all irritated when she was adressed by this name)
Arnav knew she would definately say something wrong and would never accept his words... He still waited for her to speak and then thought of covering up her words later.
Khushi: Well.. For me.. I still dont remember even that day when I was married.. I was hardly 10.. And as Arnav rightly said.. I too never wanted to accept this fact when it was told to me..
Reporter3: So you mean you still not wiling to approve this relationship and carry on further?
Khushi: Yeah.. I truely mean it.. I cannot accept the marriage that happeend when I didnt even knew what it meant.. Its illegal to get someone married like that. Infact people following it still should be punished for such a crime.. I wont blame my Parents and nor his for doing this with us.. I understand and respect their wishes.. But whatever it was.. I cannot accept it now..
Arnav gave a blank look to Khushi wanting her to stop that nonsense.. Which she continued..
Khushi: Another fact that I would like to come up with this is that I dont consider the bond between me and Arnav to be pure enough. We both lost our loved ones the same day we got married.. And that means a lot for me even now.. I lost my parents and he his father.. I dont blame him for that and nor does he blame me.. but still somehow somewhere deep within my heart I think we both are unlucky for each other.. And thus I dont think this marriage continuing would work anyhow..
Arnav interrupted her in between stating the media..
Arnav: Well What KHushi said is absolutely agreeable.. But then still forgetting the past and giving a chance for the relationship is what I would like to consider.. Even if this is against my family, or her Family or even her, I dont care.. I would try my best to get this marriage work..
Reporter4: We have heard that Khushi was supposed to get enagaged to someone..
Khushi was about to say something here when he interrupted again not allowing her to speak..
Arnav: Thats a Fake news.. She was never gonna get engaged to anyone.. She wouldnt even think on this.. Me and Khushi are still discussing between us how to get this relationship working.. So there is no question of she thinking of some other life partner..
Reporter 5: Mr Arnav Singh Raizada.. So how much confident are you that this marriage will work?
Arnav: 200%.. I will make it work.. With her.. It may take time.. All the news that came up yesterday about our Re Marriage is currently a Fake one and we havent planned anything like that.. But yes after we come to some solid conclusion about this relationship, out next step would be a Proper Marriage.. I want to give Khushi everything that she has a right too.. Including a Proper wedding with all the traditions..
He was not allowing her to answer much as he knew she was spoling the moment..
Reporter 6: So that means we would be hearing the wedding bells soon?
Khushi was about to deny here but he held her hand.. It was not visisble to anyone.. Only she could feel his hands on hers.. trying to supress her answers..
Arnav: Yeah.. Very soon.. And the Media would be the first persons to know.. I am sure.. Thats it.. No more questions..
He said that and pulled Khushi with him. The media wanted to ask many a stuff to them but he denied answering and dragged her along with him. They were surrounded by the Media guys and Arnav's body Guards helped them move towards their vehicle outside.. Khushi was searching Karan to leave with him but Karan was nowhere found in this crowd.. And Arnav was not willing to leave her hands at all. He just made her sit inside his Car which his driver drived and they drove out from the "XYZ" News Centre..
Everyone in Gupta House were fuming inside with Arnav's responses.. It clearly indicated how much eager he was in getting her back and that too now he made it publicly.. They were just speechless seeing the Guts of their Daamad Mr Arnav Singh Raizada.. He surely had a Heart of a Lion.. So much courage to face the world and fight for his right over her.. It was just appreciable.. but only if Khushi wanted to be with him not otherwise..
In RM there was so much of confusion and happiness both.. Anjali was the first person to go to the Pooja room and thank God that her brother was finally on the right track. She started distributing sweets to everyone at home.. When she came to her mumma Asha.. She stopped smiling.. SHe knew her mother was still not happy to accept Khushi like they all wanted..
Anjali: Mumma.. Please dont be so upset.. We all want her .. Specially Chotte.. So for him mumma.. Please be happy
Asha: I can never be happy to see them together Anjali.. Forget it.. You would never understand me,, And nor would your Chotte..
She said that and left the room.
And here in Arnav 's Car there was nothing except Pin drop silence.. Khushi didnt wanted to talk to him, Afterall what will she talk? Everything that she wanted to know he confessed in front of the media.. And she didnt wanted the Driver and his one body guard sitting ahead to listen their fights..
Arnav knew she was not happy with the responses he gave to the Media and specially he didnt let her talk much.. Thats what she was hurt of.
Arnav: You Ok?
Khushi didnt look at him. She was silent.. He knew she wanted to talk to him, hit him, beat him and she wasnt doing all this because of the extra 2 people in the Car.
Arnav: Driver.. Stop the Car..
The Driver stopped sideways..
Arnav: You and the bodyguard come straight at home.. I will drive from here..
He got down from his seat and so did the Driver and the Bodyguard. He opened her side door asking her to sit with him at the front.. She didnt deny.. She got down and sat ahead.. He drove the Car from there with her.. She was still silent. He drove to the same unknown place where they had kissed inside the Car and stopped it..
He got down from the Car and opened her side door and grabbed her upper arm and pulled her out.. She was still silent.. He closed the Car doors and she leaned at the door..with him standing in front of her with his hands folded on his chest..
Arnav: So.. I know you upset.. Just take it out of you.. As you want.. I wont stop..
Khushi looked once at him and then she started hiting him on his chest with her tiny closed fist.. Not once not twice but she continued hiting him and he was all quiet...
After almost 5 minutes she stopped and then she looked at him..
Arnav: Thats it?? Its done?
Khushi: No its not.. But I cannot hit you more than that.. My hands are paining..
Arnav: Should I soothe their pain? (He asked smirking)
Khushi: Dont you dare touch me..
Arnav: Why? Why cant I?
Khushi: Because I dont allow strangers to touch me..
Arnav: Stranger? And me?
Khushi: Yes.. I dont consider you anything other than that..
Arnav: I know that.. Lets not get into this now Khushi.. I want to talk to you regarding our marriage..
He held her shoulders and she waved off his hands off her..
Khushi: Marriage?? How can you Mr Raizada? How can you even think I would like to continue this relationship?
Arnav: Why not? You cannot deny the fact we married Khushi..
Khushi: I can deny.. And I am denying it.. You were never my husband and neither you would be in future.. I just hate you.. Do you understand me.. I just hate you.. Forget staying with you in RM.. I cannot even stand you by my side.. Dont you think that by publicizing our marriage to the world I would be forced to stay with you .. No Mr Raizada .. You can never own me.. Because you are not worth to own a wife like me... I dont care with the number of girls you slept with .. I do not even bother if your mother would accept me or not.. I am just shocked Mr Raizada.. Shocked to know that you are doing all this because you are just jealous of someone.. You cannot see some other guy with your so called wife.. You want me to have your tag on my neck only because you are insecured.. You are just attracted to me Mr Raizada.. Nothing else.. And you cannot take this fact that a common girl has REJECTED you.. You are not used to it.. And hence you want to dominate me stating that you have rights on me..??? How Pathetic of you Mr Raizada..
Arnav was speechless.. He knew these were not her words.. It was his Mumma's words which she spoke to him..
Arnav: Mumma had called you?
Khushi: Yes .. She did call me.. And she told me all this that you confessed to her.. How sick of you to think I would accept this marriage after knowing all this..
She turned her face the other side.. SHe was so much irritated after she had got the call today morning from his mother.. She didnt wanted to answer her call but she did and what she heard from her was the same that she confessed to Arnav now.. Arnav couldnt believe his mother could go to such an extent just not to let him get her back to RM.. His eyes were Red now due to his growing Anger.. He opened the Car door and made her sit inside.. She didnt want to but she still got seated thinking he was dropping her home like the other day.. But no Mr Arnav Singh Raizada had other plans.. He never thought straight when he was angry.. And today was no different..
