hey guys quick update 😊 i wanted to get this cht out there, thanks so much for all of ur comments and views it really encourages me to write i love all ya'll. oh and let me know if you guys prefer the multi-colored chts or just black font
Chapter 3:
After the whole locker room confusion Taani was officially introduced to the gang.
"Bhai I'm late for class i'll catch up with you later." Taani said after meeting the gang. Even though they were all nice Taani could feel all of them trying to judge her trying to understand if she was worthy of their friendship. She had been through this before, when she was a first year at her previous college. She remembered how all the other students would look at her and try to figure her out. Taani smiled at the gang and left. It was three hours into her first day and she already made a friend, Sharon. She had heard from the net and from other students that Sharon was the diva of the college, the girl who she should never get on the bad side of, but today meeting her she realized that Sharon was a sweetheart and probably misunderstood.
"Okay Taani i'll meet up with you after." Swayam said to his sister. After Taani left the gang got down to business.
"Guys sixth dancer auditions are getting no where. No one is good enough." Sharon said to the gang.
"And many of the auditions are girls who just want to get a good luck at Rey and Swayam." Vishaka said annoyed.
"Dudes we need someone soon or else team weaklings will have to leave the footlose competiton." Vishaka said leaving the room.
"Okay guys we need to get to the rehearsal hall before VP sir comes in and gets another chance to yell at Rey." Sharon said checking the tine. Even though they didn't have class the new VP made it his life's mission to blame Rey for everything that went wrong in this college.
"Yeah Sharon's right." Swayam agreed as everyone ooed at Swaron agreeing.
Taani got into class and sat in the second seat. She watched people walk in and sit with their friends. She heard the girls behind her talk about her.
"Is she the new girl?" The girl behind her asked her friend.
"I heard she's Swayam's sister." her friend responded.
All of the sudden someone sat next to her. She looked over to see a guy who was smiling widely at her.
"Hi new girl right? I'm Shivam i'm pretty much new too." he said holding out his hand.
Taani smiled gratefully, out of everyone in this college, Shivam was the only one who actually talked to her nicely. "Hi Taani." she said shaking his hand.
"So why'd you change college? You are not from here right?" Shivam said smirking to himself.
"Yeah actually I'm from jotpur i came here to study in bhai's college." Taani said.
"Bhai?" Shivam asked her.
"Yeah Swayam." Taani said smiling.
"Oh Swayam, nice." Shivam said smirking evilly. He found his target for revenge. For the rest of class Shivam and Taani talked and Taani felt like she made a friend.
"God guys this is not working." Rey said fed up with all the bad dancing he was seeing.
"Guys we should have a break and continue auditions tomorrow." Swayam said. Everyone agreed and left leaving Rey alone in the rehearsal hall.
"What am I going to do about the sixth dancer?" He wondered to himself. Shaking out of it he put on some music and started his camera and began dancing losing his grip on reality.
Swayam and Sharon met up with Taani outside her class room. Shivam had seen swaron walking in so he decided to wait for Taani to finish and walk out with her.
"Hey Sharon, Swayam." Shivam said trying to act all nice.
"Bhai this is Shivam, he was really nice to me." Taani said smiling at Shivam.
"Look Shivam get lost, whatever you are planning is not going to work." Sharon said her anger at Shivam getting the best of her.
"Sharon, Shivam is just being nice." Taani said confused.
"No Taani Sharon has a reason, anyways i'll catch you later Taani, bye guys." Shivam said leaving smirking as he left.
"Look Taani Shivam is not someone who, just be careful." Swayam said.
"But Bhai, he's nice. Don't worry Bhai I'll be okay." Taani said smiling at swaron. She saw Sharon look at Swayam and thought about being the kabad mein haddi in their car ride. "Bhai I actually have some work to do in the library and I still have to explore the rest of the college. And if there aren't that many people here it'll happen nicely." Taani said thinking quickly.
"Taani are you sure? Should i send the driver when you are done?" Swayam asked not wanting to leave his sister alone.
"Haan Bhai, you go and i'll be fine. Bye Bhai, Sharon." Taani said leaving Swaron alone.
Rey stopped dancing and left to go shower. Taani walked around and found the rehearsal hall. She walked in and looked around.
"Wow, this is amazing." She said to herself. "Well if I am at a dance rehearsal hall, I might as well dance." She said smiling to herself.
Taani went to the girls locker room where she had her old Kathak suit that she had put in earlier this morning. She changed and put on her payal and went back to the rehearsal hall.
Putting in the music CD she had made in Jotpur and went into stance. Not knowing that there was a camera still recording everything, she started dancing. Losing herself in the music she continued her kathak dancing.
Rey walked towards the rehearsal hall and heard music. "Who is here so late?" he wondered to himself. Walking to the door he stopped when he saw Taani dancing. "Wow." he said crossing his arms. He leaned against the door and continued watching Taani dance.
The music changed from classical to hip hop and with that Taani's dance style changed. Rey stood there amazed. "Wow," he said agaiin watching Taani dance. The music changed again to something softer and Taani did a few contemporary moves. Finally the music went back to kathak and Taani finished in the style she was most comfortable with.
Rey smiled widely and started clapping coming into the room. Taani was shocked seeing him there. "I'm sorry." Taani started to say completely embarrassed about dancing in a rehearsal room that was not hers.
"Don't be, humari sixth dancer mil gaye." Rey said smiling widely at a shocked Taani.
