Chapter 4:
"I'm sorry what?." Taani asked when Rey mentioned that he found the sixth dancer.
Rey who was ecstatic about finding his sixth dancer didn't realize the confusion on Taani's face. "Taani you are a mind blowing dancer. Of course Swayam's sister is obviously talented, but this is perfect. You just made my life a whole lot easier." He said happy.
"I'm sorry Rey but I really don't know what you are talking about." Taani said confused.
"Taani you, sixth dancer! Yes!" Rey yelled leaving before Taani could call him back.
Taani shook her head and smiled. "Sixth dancer aur mein?" She asked herself. She grabbed her bag and left to go change and go home.
When Taani got home she looked around for Swayam. "Bhai, aap ghar pe ho?" she yelled out into the house. The house care came and told her that Swayam wasn't back yet. Taani smiled and thanked him. "Bhai aur bhabhi ek saath long drive pe." Taani widely smiled and happily skipped to her room to change into more comfortable clothes. She started humming as she went into the kitchen deciding to cook dinner for her and Swayam.
Taani stopped and thought that maybe Sharon might come with her brother so she called him. After four rings Swayam picked up, "Hey Taani what's up?" Swayam said in the phone.
"Bhai is Sharon gonna come back with you for dinner?" Taani asked him.
"No I just dropped Sharon off home." Swayam said in the phone.
"Okay bhai come quickly." Taani hung up.
Rey came home and realized something big. He didn't have proof of Taani's dance. Taani was just going to have to give a live audition. He picked up his phone to call Taani but then he realized that he didn't have her number. Damn, he thought to himself. He instead decided to call Swayam. When he went to go dial he saw a new recording flash. He always put that alarm on his phone to make sure he looked at his dance to check for his weaknesses.
Rey quickly pressed play on his recording and was surprised to find the fact that recorded all of Taani's dance. "Awesome." Rey said to himself. Rey quickly sent a text to all of the gang telling them all to meet him in the rehearsal hall first thing tomorrow morning. He also told Swayam to bring Taani. "Thanks god sixth dancer mil gaye." Rey said feeling the urge to smile after a while.
Shivam smirked playing basket ball in St Loius court. "Taani, Taani, Taani, poor girl has no idea who she's dealing with." he laughed passing the ball to VP.
"Shivam are you sure this plan is going to work?" VP asked making a shot.
"Relax no one knows who you are and princi isn't here to bust you. I know that Rey and his precious friends will never disrespect an authority head so you are in the clear. And as for Taani she's the key to my revenge. Swayam, Sharon, Swaron whatever are going to get what they deserved." He said with an evil grin.
Early next morning Rey had reached the rehearsal hall with his laptop connecting his phone into the laptop so everyone could see Taani's dance.
"Rey dude why are we here so early?" Vicky asked Rey walking in with Nil.
"Yeah man what's up?" Vishaka said coming in with Neha.
"Let's wait for everyone else." Rey said waiting 10 minutes before everyone else came in.
"What is she doing here?" Vishaka said rudely.
"Vishaka not given attitude you." Neha warned her smiling at Taani. Taani smiled back but she couldn't help but be confused as to why she was here.
"Okay guys I called all of you here to introduce you to team weaklings new sixth dancer." Rey said smiling. "Meet Miss Taani Shekhawat." He said.
"What is wrong with you man are you insane?" Vishaka said again.
"Vishaka what's with the attitude." Sharon said not liking the way Vishaka was being rude to Rey these days.
"Look Sharon you're one to talk." Vishaka bluntly responded.
"Shut up Vishaka." Swayam said not liking anyone being rude to Sharon.
"No Swayam she's your sister so of course you'd be okay with it." Vishaka said. "Besides how do you know she's not like the other audition girls who is only after Rey." Vishaka said.
"But guys I didn't ask to be the sixth dancer." Taani said.
Ignoring Taani Rey pressed play and everyone stopped talking watching Taani's amazing dance on the laptop. They watched as she changed styles with the changing music.
"Wow." Nil was the first one to talk. Everyone started clapping smiling at Taani.
"Taani why didn't you tell me you were such a good dancer." Swayam asked her smiling.
"Bhai but I'm not I still don't understand this sixth dancer thing." Taani said breaking everyone out of their trance.
"Taani I was wrong you are a good dancer. I'm sorry for being rude to you. But I'm sure you know that our team needs another dancer since our lead dancer had to leave right?" Vishaka said feeling the need to apologize.
"Yeah." Taani said still confused.
"Well we've been holding auditions, that have been a disaster. And now you are an amazing dancer. We need you on the team." Vishaka said.
"But bhai I won't be able to match up to your dancing. Bhai how will I?" Taani asked feeling a little over whelmed.
"That is where I come in." Rey said.
"I found you guys the sixth dancer to it's my responsibility to make sure that she is capable of being on team weaklings. From tomorrow I will train with her in the mornings so by the time we are all ready to start rehearsals she'll be ready." Rey said. Everyone agreed with Rey and left the rehearsal hall.
"Rey, thank you for helping me." Taani said walking out with Rey. Rey smiled and said, "I'll see you in class."
Shivam was spying on the gang as usual. "Interesting, Taani is the new sixth dancer. This just keeps getting better and better."
Shivam walked over to a group of girls and told them the news of Taani making team weaklings. He also spread some false news. These girls, jealous of Taani, decided to go by where Rey was standing.
"Did you hear Taani successfully trapped Rey into bringing her into the team." one of them said.
"Yeah she said that she is trying to get closer to Rey." another girl giggled.
"Don't you know she knows that Kriya is out of his life and is trying to make a move on him." the third one said.
Rey angrily made his way from the girls grabbed Taani's arm from where she was talking with Shivam and dragged her to rehearsal hall.
Shivam stood there with a smirk on his face. "Sixth dancer, nah, check mate." He said.
"How dare you Taani?" Rey yelled.
"Rey what happened?" Sharon said shocked that Rey dragged Taani into the rehearsal room like that. Everyone else got up too.
"Guys i thought I found our sixth dancer but now I just heard that Taani is only joining team weaklings to get closer to me, just like everyone else." Rey said.
"Look Taani just because Kriya is out of my life now it doesn't mean that I'm ready to move on. And especially not with a disgusting girl like you who will latch herself onto me making me believe you can help the team when all you really wanted to do was get closer to me." Rey blasted on her.
Taani's tears came out. She couldn't help it but when people yelled at her she felt the need to cry.
"Seriously Taani that's disgusting." Rey said.
"Enough! What do you even know about me that you are making your own stupid conclusions." Taani yelled having enough.
"Taani." Rey tried to interrupt.
"No! Why would I try to get closer to you when I just got out of a bad relationship." Taani said.
"I learned about you and Kriya today from Vishaka. At least you knew that Kriya left for a good reason you guys ended on good terms. But for me." Taani said not stopping.
"Taani please let's go." Swayam said not wanting his sister to get even more emotional.
"No Swayam let's hear what she has to say." Rey said angry that Taani brought Kriya up.
"Rey shut up you don't know how wrong you are." Sharon said.
"How could I want to be a relationship when my last boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend!" Taani yelled. "You know what I don't want to be your stupid sixth dancer. Count me out." Taani yelled running out.
"Taani, wait!" Swayam yelled.
"Dude i'm sorry i didn't mean to." Rey said feeling really guilty.
"I'm going to go after her." Swayam said running out of his upset sister.
Everyone left one by one leaving a guilty Rey behind. Rey punched the wall and ran his hand through his hair. "Damn, I messed up." Rey said thinking of a way to fix this situation.
