Episode 4
Khushi: ArnavJi...
Arnav opened his eyes and looked at Khushi. He gave a faint smile thinking its a dream and he closed his eyes again. Unlike last time, he could feel her presence even when he closed his eyes. He opened his eyes again to be sure and spotted Khushi.
Arnav: Khushi...Tum
Khushi broke into tears and ran to Arnav...
Khushi: (sat on her knees and took his hand in hers) ArnavJi, what have they done to you? saying that Khushi started crying...
Arnav: (pulled her closer and bent down to wipe her tears) Shhh, quiet. I am doing OK. Please dont cry.
Khushi quickly noticed blood stain on his forehead and started wiping it with her dupatta. Arnav grabbed her hand and kissed her palm and said...
Arnav: I am sorry Khushi. I never wanted to hurt you but I had to do it the other night to...
Khushi kept her finger on his lips and stopped him from saying anything.
Khushi: ArnavJi, I know. You dont have to give explanation for anything. We will talk everything later.
Arnav: (coming back to his senses of where he is, he yelled at her) Khushi, why are you here? Its too dangerous here. They have guns. Please go from here, I am doing OK. If anything happens to you, I cant (and he stopped, he didnt say a word, may be he thought its not right moment to say everything he wanted to say)
Khushi exactly knew what he is feeling and what he wanted to say. Khushi broke the silence and said...
Khushi: ArnavJi, I have to tell you something very important. I know who the person is behind your kidnapping.
Arnav: Who?
Meanwhile, NK was hiding behind big barrels and trying to get Khushi's attention.
Khushi: Thats none other than...and she noticed NK sighing at her.
NK sighed her that Shyam is hiding behind big boxes. Khushi turned the other side to look for shyam and she spotted his shadow. Just then..
Arnav: Who is that person behind all this? I am not going to leave him.
Khushi: Ha, I meant to say that I heard his voice somewhere but I dont know his name. (and she winked at Arnav conveying him to act along with her)
As usual Arnav didnt understand what she is doing...
Arnav: What the...Didnt you find a better place to wink at me...
Khushi angrily rolled her eyes pointing all hidden goons. Then he realized and nodded.
Khushi: I dont know who the kidnapper is but he gave me one chance to meet you. I dont even know where this location is and how I got here as I was blind-folded. Please dont draw conclusions for what I am going to ask you to do, because there is reason behind everything Khushi does.
She took the stamp papers and pen out of her handbag.
Khushi: ArnavJi, I need your signature on these stamp papers.
Arnav lost his cool as soon as he heard the words 'blank papers' and 'signature'. Before he could open his mouth, she took control and said...
Khushi: Look ArnavJi, I tried my best to save you from these kidnappers and now it seems to be nearly impossible. God forbid, but if anything happens to you tomorrow, what will happen to me, Di, Di's baby and my family financially. So, please sign these papers giving me control of all your property.
Arnav: (shocked to hear this and thought to himself) Khushi, you are here for the property and not for me.
Just then, Khushi handed over the papers & pen and sighed him to turn the first page. Arnav didnt understand and gave confused look. Khushi, reached over to him to show where to sign and slightly flipped the page and sighed him to read.
Arnav turned the page to read a small note from Khushi: "ArnavJi, Please forgive me for doing all these. I am not stealing your property. These are fake stamp papers. Please trust me and sign these papers. I am doing all this drama to save you"
Arnav didnt believe her for what she had done to him and Di in the past. He loves her but he doesnt trust her. But he had no other option than signing. He agreed to sign. Khushi quickly untied his hands and he finally signed all papers.
Seeing all this, Shyam got suspicious as why Arnav didnt question Khushi about these papers. Just when Arnav was about to hand over the papers to Khushi, Shyam grabbed the papers and the note happened to slip through the bunch and fell under Arnav's chair.
Shyam with wicked smile, hugged Khushi and said...
Shyam: Thank You KhushiJi. You proved how much you love.
Shyam's words killed Arnav. He is state of shock. Shyam continued...
Shyam: I have to admit KhushiJi, I couldnt do this in weeks and you got it done in few mins. Thats why I love you KhushiJi. Salle Saheb, what do you think she is here for, to save you?. No Salle Saheb, she is here to take revenge on you.
Arnav still cant believe Shyam's words. Arnav looked at Khushi trying to look for answers in her eyes. She has tears in her eyes. He thought, if she really wanted to take revenge on him, why does she have tears. What does she want? Before he could trust her eyes, his anger took over his emotions.
Just then Shyam pointed gun at Arnav...
Shyam: Salle Saheb, I guess we dont need you anymore. I am thinking if I should leave you or kill you. Mmm, let me think 2 secs. Tick Tick 1, Tick Tick 2. OK, I decided. I am going to kill you.
Khushi: ShyamJi, you got what you wanted. Why do you want to kill him. Leave him.
Shyam: What happened KhushiJi. I thought you were on my side, now you are trying to save him.
Khushi: No ShyamJi. I am worried that if you kill, you will be arrested. But anyway, I dont like all these killing. I want you to play safe.
Seeing them both in serious conversation, Arnav tried to grab gun from Shyam and it fell away from all of them. Arnav started punching Shyam. All goons entered the scene to save Shyam. Just then, NK entered from behind and attacked goons. Khushi too tried her best. Shyam fell near the gun and took the gun in his hands & pointed at Arnav. He loaded the gun and he pulled trigger.
Khushi pushed Arnav and she took the shot. The bullet hit her near right collar bone and she collapsed on the floor. Arnav ran to Khushi and screamed her name. Arnav shook her real hard, avoiding her to become unconscious. He took her in his arms and ran outside to find any transportation to take her to hospital. Shyam is in state of shock and goons tried to stop Arnav. NK fought all goons and asked Arnav to leave immediately and assured that he will handle them.
Arnav found goon's car parked outside. He put Khushi in the car and drove fast to the hospital. Arnav took her in his arms and reached emergency.
Nurse: What happened?
Arnav: Cant you see, dammit. She is shot. Go and get your doctor. NOW.
Doctor: Look Mr, we cant treat any such cases without informing police.
Arnav: I dont care what your stupid rules are. If my wife is not treated in next 30 secs, I will have this god damn hospital closed the very next sec.
Doctor: Nurse, take her Operation Theater and get her dressed for operation. I will join with rest of the panel.
Arnav wasnt allowed to enter the theater. He waited outside. Bit of cloth torn from her dupatta got stuck in his pant. He removed it carefully without losing even a single thread. He held it near his face and sobbed. Just then Nurse came outside.
Arnav: Is she doing Ok?
Nurse: Its too early to say anything. They just started operating her.
Arnav: What do you mean they just started. You took her inside 5mins back and you are saying they just started. If something happens to her in 5mins.
Nurse: Relax Sir. We are not robots to have everything ready in a sec. Its takes time and We are doing our best. You have to calm down. If you want, you can freshen up and come after sometime as the operation will take at least 2 hrs.
Arnav: Oh, I am sorry.
Just when she was about to leave, he called her again and said...
Arnav: Nurse, I have some unfinished business, I will be back in an hour. Please take care of her.
Nurse Nodded. Arnav left to the kidnapper place. NK is still fighting and he is extremely weak as they beat him to death. Arnav came to his rescue and fought all goons. Arnav grabbed Shyam's neck and banged his head to wall real hard.
Arnav: I told you not to come near Khushi. How many times should I tell you that she is my wife. You dont seem to understand. Let me explain it to you clearly today once for all.
Saying this Arnav continued banging Shyam's head to the wall. Shyam is unconscious but it didnt stop Arnav from doing that. NK stopped Arnav and pulled him out of that place.
They both left to hospital.
