Arnav decided to give Khushi a head start. He knew if he revealed his

plans to her she'll fight tooth and nail to put him off her track, she might

even trick him and slip away and that won't do. No, let her assume that

she is getting away for now, he'll follow to see where she goes, she'll

definitely not go to her buaji's place that would be too risky, knowing her

he knew she might have schemed some hare-brained idea which was to get

her in trouble!!

"Why don't you leave tomorrow morning, its already very late and Delhi is not safe at night."

"Morning the entire family is going to be there, I cannot leave in front of

them, I don't think I can explain it to them, not now. You make up some

excuse and after a few days reveal the truth, that would be better." She

said thinking that within that time she'll gone somewhere far-off and they

wouldn't be able to find her.

"Nah, I heard Di saying that the entire family is going to some temple

early morning for a special puja for the welfare of our house. You can

make the excuse that you are not well, stay back and slip away." Arnav

lied through his teeth. Making up some excuse of important calls he

slipped away to turn his lie to truth.

Meanwhile Khushi was thinking what to do. She had decided that she'll

catch a train to Lucknow and try to make her life there. But since she was

leaving in the morning, maybe she can meet her family for the last time,

yes last time because she's not coming back to this place, the place which

trampled and crushed her dreams, hopes and future……..but then its not

the place 's fault entirely, the people who did this to her are to blame. Even

though she had long back forgiven her family and forgotten everything

there is still a tiny voice in her mind which keeps telling her that they did

not even think twice before discarding her, maybe they haven't accepted her

as their own completely. But she's grateful for whatever she's getting. She

not going to hold any grudges against anyone, nah……that's only going

to make things worse for her. She is going to live life to the fullest her way

without any regrets, who knows maybe she might even fall in love again

over the years. But deep inside she knew that no one could make her feel

like Arnav did, no one could replace him. With all these thoughts

replaying in her head she fell asleep.

On the other hand Arnav had gone to his Di's room. He explained the

entire situation to her. Initially Anjali had been very angry. She berated

her Chotte, how could he destroy an innocent life, how could he make fun

of a sacred bond, how could he be so cruel!! Arnav listened to all this

quietly he knew he deserved it. He let his Di vent out her frustration on

him. As she calmed down he asked for forgiveness and told her that he is

going to make everything right but for that he needed her help. Anjali did

not reply.

"Di please you have to help me. If not for me then for Khushi, she

deserves a chance at happiness and I promise to give her that. I'll fulfill

all her dreams I'll make her life a fairytale. But for that I need your

help Di please, I can't stay without her."

"Fine. But only for Khushi Iam helping you. I don't think I can forgive

you for what you did to her. She was like a younger sister to me."

"I'll make it right Di, I'll make everything right." Saying so he went

ahead to explain his plan to her. Initially she had her doubts but she

trusted her Chotte so she decided to do whatever it takes to make Khushi

happy. She felt guilty for what happened with Khushi. Whatever her

brother did it was to keep her happy. If she hadn't been so blind in love

maybe all this mess could have been avoided. Never mind she'll help

Chotte to put things straight.

Anjali made all the arrangements for the puja informed all family

members about it. They were unaware of Arnav-Khushi situation, she

decided to reveal it at the right time. Arnav went ahead and explained to

Akash and Aman that he had to go away for a while and they should

handle everything in his absence. He signed whatever papers needed his

signature and whatever deals had to be finalized were explained in detail

to them. They didn't ask questions because they trusted him and knew that

if he was leaving work then the matter must be something of grave

importance. He instructed them to contact him only in dire need. Otherwise

he was not to be contacted at any cost. He changed his mobile number so

that no one can disturb him for a few months. Only Akash, Aman, and

Anjali know his new number. If anything important crops up or someone

wants to contact him it can be through any one of them. Other matters they

should solve it by themselves. He wanted to devote his entire time to

Khushi. This time he is going to unleash the full force of love he feels on

her. She won't know what hit her!! Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh

beside her.
