As a writer, it's interesting to try and write things which you don't understand and explore possible reasons behind why people do things we can't ever imagine any plausible reason for.
I enjoy reading about twisted, flawed characters and in this story, I'm going to write them.
There's no justification for infidelity but it still happens. I'm not trying to make it seem okay, I'm just trying to get inside the heads of people who do it to try and understand WHAT could make a person stoop so low.
People who write crime novels don't condone murder- I therefore don't see why writing a story about infidelity must be equivalent to me condoning it.
