Writing about adultery is different from believing/justifying it. I think that's the first big difference. As the writer herself pointed out just because a news channel shows violence it doesn't mean that they justify it. Its a story. Its fiction where the main topic is adultery.
It happens in real life, not all couples are loyal. There are so many of them (men and women) who go down the path of adultery, it sucks, its disgusting, but its real and its the truth. And truth my friend is always bitter.
I have no issues with your moral stance, but find it odd that you ask the writer to justify their view. First of all as humans we all have different sense of morality, that doesn't need to be justified in an open internet forum. Secondly at no point has the writer tried to justify it or make it seem glamorous.
Lets not mix morals with fiction. They have their respective places. Fanfictions isn't the right place to start a discussion on morality. I suggest that you use the chat club.
