Finally got the chance to read :)
So a glimpse into all the pain that not only Khushi-Arnav are feeling but all the other characters as well.
I absolutely love how you drew parallels among the old Armaan Malik and the new one. It really does show the pain that's been inflicted upon each character due to whatever that happened.
As for the flashbacks, they just added to the whole angst.
These lines of Akash really got to me:
How do I lie, Bhai? The reason isnt you, Bhai, the reason is Dadi...Why dont you, Bhai, tell Dadi that Khushiji isnt to blame for whatever happened?! That its all Shyaam! That Khushiji is innocent! That you love her! That you cannot be without her! WHY BHAI?!"
Great work that Akash finally snapped and told Arnav to just...speak up. It's funny that a character that never stopped to speak out his mind before, is now finding it hard to tell his Nani something.
As for Arnav's last dialogues. They confused me.
"Kyonki woh meri Maa ki Maa hain aur meri Maa ke liye main kuch bhi kar sakta hoon...anything."
Yeah he can do anything for his mother, and anything for his di.
But it seems as though he hasn't really learnt from his mistakes. He is still hurting Khushi by "sacrificing" for his Nani/Di/Mother.
And if he truly did hold his Nani on such high regard and pedestal, then Arnav wouldn't have spoken against Nani when she would pressure him to get married, or other things that Arnav did not necessarily agree upon. Maybe it was a change in his character due to what happened?
Either ways, that was a great part! Loved reading it!
And congratulations on the new thread! :)
