Part 33:

She was sleeping straight untill now but she now turned to face him. He closed his eyes not wanting her to know he was looking at her. She opened her eyes and saw him. She was almost 2 feet away from him on that bed.. She didnt get scared though.. She enjoyed being on the same bed as him.. She didnt knew why?

Khushi: Arnav..

Arnav was shocked to know she wasnt sleeping.. He opened his eyes at once and looked at her..

Khushi: I wanted to ask you something..

Arnav: What?

Khushi: Now that I have come to RM .. I mean for next 4 months.. Do I need to act as a Good wife to you in front of all.. ?

Arnav: Its your wish.. I dont care for how you act in front of others..

Khushi got up and sat on the bed..

Khushi: You dont care? Well Arnav.. Let me remind you.. Everyone here think that we are now adjusting with each other and willing to spend the entire life together.. So we need to act accordingly.. We have already hurted them a lot now I dont want them to get anymore hurt from our ends..

Arnav too got up and sat opposite to her..

Arnav: I know.. So what do you want?

Khushi: I think we should try showing them how much we care for each other now.. We need to pretend some things before them even if we dont wish to. That will make them happy.. Ok?

Arnav: Hmm. And what about after 4 months Khushi? When they come to know the reality? Wont they be more hurt?

Khushi: I know they will be.. But then atleast they would not feel we didnt give a try to our relationship.. I mean we can make them understand then that we tried our best but it didnt work.. And so we are seperating.. They will understand for sure.

The word Seperating hit his heart.. He gulped at the thought of what would be his condition after 4 months pass with her..

Arnav: Ok..

Khushi was happy he didnt deny her thoughts.. He infact just said a plain "OK" and agreed. Wish it was so easy to make him understand on all her motives.. She smiled and then they slept.. Facing away from each other trying to control the feelings which were boiling inside them.

Next Morning.

Arnav was in the Bedroom selecting his shirt for wearing it. He was near the CLoset and was wearing a White Vest and Black trouser.. when she rushed inside.. She hurridly came to him and then removed one White shirt from the Closet. She was breathing hard as if she has come running all the way to his room. She pushed him to the Closet and then when he was damm confused of her sudden reactions and wanted to ask her about this behaviour, she placed her finger on his lips.. She gestured from her eyes that they were been noticed by someone.. He understood that and remembered what they planned last night.. He was quiet.. She started with her drama now..

Khushi: Arnav.. How many times should I tell you, dont wear White.. Do you even realize how charming you look when you wear this White shirt?

Arnav was surprised. How could she say something like that?

Khushi: Dont look at me like that?? I know you like getting girls crazy for you.. But this is not the way.. I mean atleast not now.. We are married Arnav.. And I am so damm possessive for you.. Cant you fell that?

Arnav saw Nani near the Door and he was relaxed knowing that she was really telling all this just for the family's sake or else this was so difficult to believe in... He too thought of giving his try helping her proving the family that everything was fine between them..

Arnav slid his hands on her slim waist and pulled her closer. She removed her finger from his lips as she was damm shocked feeling him hugging her so close.. She opened her eyes wide to understand what was happenening with her..

Arnav: So you are jealous then.. Am I right?

Khushi: J..Jea.. Jealous.. And me? No..

Arnav: Then let me wear White Khushi..

Khushi: Look Arnav..

Arnav: I am looking Khushi.. (He pulled her still close and she was almost having difficulty in breathing) My eyes are always on you..

Khushi was speechless.. What was this? Was he really acting? Yeah what else could she expect from him? Something was definitely wrong though.. She herself had asked Nani to come to their room and ask Arnav not to go to office today.. And then she herself had come running to her room before Nani to pretend as if she wants to act before them and show everything is good.. This was her first step in making him feel that she is caring for him But now she herself was in such a situation that she felt giving some damm love lessons to him was actually useless.. He was the best in it already..

Nani was still out and she could see their boiling chemistry.. She didnt feel like disturbing them so she left from there.. Arnav could see her leaving but he didnt leave Khushi from his arms.. He kept looking at her and she too kept staring at him trying to understand what was happening..

Arnav leaned to her ears and she tried moving back. He looked at her confusingly and then understood what she was feeling from inside. She closed her eyes in anticipation of his next moves and he could see her confusion on her face. He smiled and then whispered in her ears..

Arnav: I am not going to Office today and Nani has gone from here minutes back..

Khushi opened her eyes and came out from his arms. She took her Dupatta properly and then saw him once..

Khushi: Not going to Office? Why? I mean its a Monday.. And you must be having work.. (She knew she herself didnt wanted him to go but she could not admit that to him yet)

Arnav: Actually I am not feeling quite well. I will work from home today.

Khushi: Not well? What happened?

She placed her hand on his cheeks to check it he has fever..

Arnav: I am fine like that Khushi.. Just feeling little low.. My Sugar medicines are over.. And I forgot to order some more.. Have sent HP to get them. Dont worry..

Khushi: What? Your tablets are over? How can someone be so careless? And why didnt you tell me? I would have..

Arnav stopped her ..

Arnav: Khushi.. Its Ok.. Nani isnt here now.. You dont need to show so much of concern.. Allright?

He said that and left the room wearing that White Shirt.. SHe was not surprised.. For him this was all a play... an act.. Only she knew what this was.. She went straight inside the Kitchen to make something for him...
