Kriya and rey headed towards the rehearsal hall and stopped outside the entrance.

Rey- so this is the stlouie rehearsel hall. Usually its just restricted to people who have dance as their extracurricular but since youre gonna be taking it up you can come in.

As they entered rey saw kriya taking it up with an expression of pure delight and invoulantry smile lit up his face

Rey- pretty neat hun?

Kriya- you call this neat? This is just amazing!

It wasn't the grandeur of the place that appealed to kriya but the essence of it. The place seemed to have a life of its own and she felt as if it was calling out to her. She could already feel the anticipation build up inside her and knew that shed be spending a large fraction of her day here.

Sharon- rey finally youre here! Do you know how long ive been waiting for you to come? Already half the class is over! And whose she?

Rey- that's kriya, you know how I messed up right.

Hearing kriyas name swayam turned around to face them too.

Swayam- hey kriya, I was planning to show you this place but looks like you found youre own way.

Kriya- hey swayam, youre here too. And im guessing that's Sharon right?

Sharon- yeah, now if you don't mind can rey and I practice? Were already way behind schedule.

Kriya- ya, whatever go ahead, I was leaving anyways. Swayam do you wanna come?

Swayam- ya im coming too, I need to borrow some books from the library.

Nicole- swayam, fill up your form for the extracurricular and we have practice today after classes so be there on time okay.

Rey- hey kriya ill see you in the next period in the canteen. Gotta keep my word afterall.

Kriya- what word?

Rey- I promised ill show you around right and I don't break promises.

Kriya- okay ill see you there.

Kriya and swayam left the rehearsel hall and went to the library, since they had the same subjects they decided to try and finish the work together.

Swayam- so what was that all about? You already scored a tour and I nhave tio the all my exploring on my own

Kriya- firstly I know youd rather explore alone, afterall ive been living in the same house as you for the past fifteen years so give me credit for knowing that atleast. Besides as far as reys concerned hes okay as a friend I guess but don't get any ideas, you know im not into relationships and stuff, theyre just a waste of time and besides I barely know him!

Swayam- okay, okay I know the great miss kriya ghai doesn't believe in relationships, lets just get back to work okay.

Kriya- but you do right, and Sharon seemed pretty nice.

Swayam- Sharon? Are you serious? She hates my guts, afterall I parked in her highnesses parking space!

Kriya- that was you? Do you know what ive had to go through because of that! Anyways forget that lets just finish this then well go and fill our extracurricular forms. As it is the dance teacher seems rather impressed with you so I have to work super hard to match up!

Swayam- that's cuz she hasn't seen you dance yet.

They worked silently for the half an hour that followed and then the bell rang.

Kriya- swayam- could you please fill the form for me too, otherwise ill get really late.

Swayam- ya, sureill do it. Enjoy your tour and by the way take the car keys with you ill be late cuz Nicole maam called me to practice after classes, take it with you when you go home and then tell the driver to send it back for me.

Kriya took the keys and headed towards the canteen to meet rey while swayam went to the cultural heads office to get the forms signed. When she reached there rey was already waiting for her, seeing her he flashed her a smile and waved out. she made her way upto him ignoring the dirty glares she got from the fuming girls present there.

Kriya- hey.

Rey- hello, welcome to st loiue. Im reyaansh singhania and im going to be your tourguide today.

He faked the perfect serious voice which kriya seemd to find rather amusing, so she decided to carry on with the act.

Kriya- I see, well it's a pleasure to meet you, and this place looks absolutely wonderful. Im rather eager to start this tour so whats the first destination?

Rey- were going to start our trip from the first place you come to when you enter the college the atrium.

They made their way around the entire college starting from the atrium followed by all the other places to see. Finally they reached the last spot on the list the basketball court.

Rey- so this is the final location we have on our tour today, the stloiue basketball court, usually this place is buzzing with activity but the tournament ended yesterday only so the guys are giving it a rest.

Kriya- its really nice. To bad the tour ends here.

They made their way to the steps set up for the spectators and sat down.

Rey- so, tell me something about yourself.

Kriya- what do you wanna know?

Rey- anything, whatever youre comfortable with telling me.

Kriya- my life isn't really that intresting you know, but still go ahead and ask what you want to know.

Rey- so how did you like the college?

Kriya- its awesome, but I don't think ill actually be able to have any fun till im over with all that pending work I have left.

Rey- you can borrow my notes if you want, I don't mind lending it to you.

Kriya- really? Thank you so much. Guess I wont have to break my head reading those cheesy lines from all those romance novels that the English department seems to love so much. I mean allthe litreture you seem to have done so far are wuthering heights, emma, pride and prejudice and stuff like that. I wish that theyd give something more entertaining like maybe frankenstien or hound opf the Baskervilles or something.

Rey- you don't like romance novels? Youre the first girl ive ever heard saying that. Usually that's the only thing they seem to read.

Kriya- I dont how they do it. As if whatever happens in these boks is really gonna happen, eternal love and stuff like that. Real life isn't like that, here people are confessing their undying love for each other one day and are biting eachothers heads off the next.-

Rey-you seem to have a whole new take on everything, pretty intresting I have to admit.

Just then the bell rang and they both left for their classes the rest of the day was rather uneventful and completely jampacked with classes. When the final bell rang kriya almost jumped out of her seat and joined the group of students desperate to escape. She reached home and told the driver to take the car back to the college for swayam, but when the driver reached downstairs he saw that there was a pin sticking to one of the tyres and almost half the tire was empty, they didn't even have a spare tyre at hand and so they had no optin but to call the mechanic and hope that swayam would manage his way back.

Meanwhile swayam made his way to the rehearsel hall where he was greeted by Nicole and a rather annoyed Sharon.

Nicole- rey has been called by the cultural head for discussion about an upcoming event so he wont be able to make it for rehearsal today so youre going to help Sharon decide the steps and practice with her. Id have waited for rey but were already way behind schedule. There is the intercollege dance competition coming up and ive decided that our college is going to do rumba, a dance that tells the story of love and eroticism between a man and a woman. The Rumba relies on the age-old premise of the lady trying to conquer the gentleman by means of her womanly charms. Incorporating all the elements of teasing and withdrawal, it is considered the most sensual of the Latin dances and also one of the toughest, so I want to see that chemistry and that passion cause only then are you going to get it right.

Sharon- okay lets get this over and done with. Ive thought of a few steps, lets see how that works out.

The next hour or so that followed seemed to fly by as they did hip turns, spot turns, fans and many other steps to get the perfect dance sequence.

Nicole- guys that's enough for today. You guys were amazing today. I really hadn't expected you to do so well in the first go and you guys share an unusually powerful chemistry. Well done, ill see you tomorrow, till then we have to find another girl to join the team, cuz we have one boy extra.

Swayam- maam my sister is going to be taking up dance as her extracurricular and shes a brilliant dancer, so I guess that problem will be solved.

Nicole- great then, ill see you tomorrow and bring her along with you.

Sharon and swayam headed towards the parking lot, but to swayams surprise there was just one car in the parking loy that was sharons. He called up kriya to find out what had happened.

*on thephone*

Swayam- hello kriya?

Kriya- hey swayam, I know what youre calling up about. The car has a puncture and ive called the mechanic to fix it. Hes still at it so I couldn't send it.

Swayam- that's okay, ill just get a taxi.

Kriya- theyre on a strike so that's not gonna help.

Swayam- damn, anyways ill figure something out, don't worry.

*phone convo ends*

Sharon had heard swayams part of the conversation and pretty much guessed the entire situation. As she saw him there now leaning against a tree trying to call up some of his friends she decided to go and give him a lift. As it is the parking lot was isolated baring the two of them so nobody would really ever come to know about it. she started a car and made it come to a stop right beside him

Sharon- do you ned help?

Swayam- are you giving me a lift?

Sharon- well im just being polite, its not right to leave someone stranded like this so I thought maybe ill offer you one.

Swayam- you know, mostly it's the guy who asks thwe girl for a lift.

Sharon- you know what ive changed my mind. I don't think you really do need a lift and why should I go and bang my head against the wall?

Swayam- hey, sorry okay and thanks for offering me a lift I really appreciate it.

He got into the car and strapped himself. The rest of the drive was passed in silence except for the occasional directions provided by swayam. Somehow the silence didn't seem to get awkward as it usually has knack of becoming as they both thought back to the dance that they had just done. Something had seemed to pass between them during that time that hadn't happened ever before with both of them, as if they never wanted to stop.

Swayam- you can stop here, that's my house. Thankyou so much once again,id probably still be stuck there if it weren't for you.

Sharon- its okay. You don't have to keep repeating that. Saying thank you once is more than enough.

Swayam- so do you wanna be friends?

Sharon thought over it for a minute. He wasn't really all that bad and he could totally dance, shed seen that in the time shed spent with him. She nodded in acceptance and waited for swayam to get out of the car.

Swayam- i guess ill see you around then.

Sharon- I guess.

Swayam- okay bye then, ive got tons of work to do.

Sharon- bye and best of luck with that.

With that she reversed her car and sped off towards her own house while swayam rushed into his own
