Part 4 (b)

They were standing outside the park when Rey said rubbing his stomach," Shaggy, it's time for Scobby snacks." Sharon chuckled and said," lets go, bhukad!!! "

They went to McDonalds. She reserved a table while Rey went to place their order. In meantime she surveyed the crowd. There were people of various age group and they all were enjoying, having fun with family and friends. She remembered how she use to come here with her friends and how they use to have fun. They use to play game like who would eat more number of French fries and who would drink coke in one go. She was so lost in her memories when Rey pinched her.

" Ouch!!!", She screamed and glared at Rey. He smiled and pointed to the tray he brought. She looked down and saw tray full of French fries before she could say anything Rey said, " One two three go….." and he took a dig at the fries. She also joined him and they ate as if they were hungry for ages. Then they drank Coke in one go. When they were done Rey said, "Clue no. 3 is FUN and ENJOYMENT and now your heart…"

She placed her hand and felt what her heart was feeling and it felt nice and lively. Rey said," Do you want anything else to eat???"

" Are you mad??? Do you have any idea ki how many potatoes I have ate that means utani calories…oh freak need to work out…."

"Sharon!!! you are forgetting the clue no. 3…. Just enjoy and don't think….Ok."

"Okay…"

They again started their journey. Sharon was no longer interested in her destination .she was just enjoying the ride. On their way Sharon removed her helmet and let the air flow through her hairs. She was enjoying the feeling of air colliding with her face with velocity directly proportional to the speed of the bike. She felt as if she was cutting air in two.

They had traveled a fair long distance when finally Rey brought his bike to halt. She was shocked and surprised to see where Rey had brought her. It was the same old temple where her mother used to bring them on each Sunday. Rey held her hand and said, "You trust me right??" She didn't reply but just kept looking at the temple.

She felt uneasy coming back here not that there was something wrong in this place but for whom this place was dedicated was the reason behind her feelings. Her twenty years of life were divided into two phases. One phase was epoch of belief and other was epoch of incredulity. And right now she was in the phase of skepticism towards God.

She felt someone dragging her and she looked at Rey who was carefully guiding their way. She really had no idea about what was Rey up to. Why was he taking her in temple?? But to her utter surprise Rey took her behind the temple. Behind the temple stood a huge cottage which was an old age home. Her parents used to give donation to this old age home.

They went inside the cottage and went inside a room which was the meeting room. They were greeted by a woman with a pleasant smile. She was sitting on wheel chair. Seeing her Sharon exclaimed, "ANGEL!!!" She ran and hugged her.

"After so long haa Sharon you came to meet me. I have been waiting with hope that one day you two would come to meet me.", women said.

"Sorry. I am really very sorry. But everything is not the way it used to be. Life has taken a harsh turn Angel bringing everything to an end.", Sharon said. Tears were rolling down her eyes. She just buried her face in angel's lap.

Angel aka Vasundhara was one of the resident of old age home. She was a women of 70 who was glued to the wheel chair due to an accident. But she was not the one who cried over her misfortune but instead she was a fighter. She made this old age home her own home and made an agenda in her life that she would always spread happiness and bring smile on people's face. Sharon and Rey would spend a whole lot time with her while their parents were busy making donation and other formalities. They nicknamed her Angel. She used to tell them stories . But after death of Sharon's mother they stopped coming here and thus they were meeting Angel after ten long year.

Rey had visited her yesterday and told about Sharon's state. He even told her about Swayam so she was well aware of everything.

Angel said playing with Sharon curls, "Sharon unfortunate events like a death may take place in a life time. The suffering that follows is understandable. However how much we suffer is totally dependent on us. After one sad event we keep on imagining about the suffering and to be frank people suffer on account of imagined calamities and forego a thousands moments of happiness. When you start imagining, even a insignificant irritation assume a great magnitude dear and thus we suffer more."

Sharon looked up. Her eyes still filled with water. Angel wiped of her tears and said, " I know you miss her Sharon. But it's past and you cant do anything about it. You know I lost my husband in the same accident in which I lost my ability to walk. If that was not enough my own child disowned me. I had lost everything in my life except for one thing and that was my husband's love which still fill the air I breathe and the memories of my past happy life. I made all these memories my strength and started a new life with new will."

"Why worry about the catastrophes that are unlikely to occur. Why not enjoy the present. You are getting what I am trying to say Sharon, aren't you???"

" Sharon was your life always full of sad events. There were no single events that can be marked as good or happy. Think Sharon. Think about your twenty years of life."

Sharon thought about her past life and she noticed that her life was best at times, it was worst of time. It was season of light, it was season of darkness. It was spring of hope, it was winter of depression. It was good and bad but if thought properly it was more good than bad.

" Give your life another chance ,Sharon. Give happiness another chance to enter your life. Don't let suffering make you so blind that you wont be able to see happiness walking along with you. Live your today and make as many happy memories as possible to carry forward. You will think over it, right Sharon??"

Sharon just nodded and said, " Thanks Angel.."

They bid goodbye to Angel promising her that they would come to meet her on every weekend. Outside the cottage Rey said, " Shaggy,clue no.4 is LOVE."

Finally they reached Sharon's place. Sharon got down and was removing her helmet when Rey said, "Sharon, old memories, friends, fun and enjoyment and love are the four clues which would certainly lead to happiness. Think over it."

Sharon hugged Rey and said, " Thanks a lot Rey…you are the best…."

"I know that but it was my duty as your best friend because best friend is one who loves you when you forget to love yourself…."

" Rey, it was the best day of my life…"

" No, Sharon. It is one of the best day ….you would have loads of such day only if you would give another chance to your life…..think over it, Sharon. Good nignt…." , Rey said breaking the hug and left.

Nxt chap- will Sharon give another chance to her life????if yes then what about Swayam???
