Jack didn't answer her and moved inside the house and shut the door behind him.

"You are not supposed to meet me publicly!" Kriya scowled...exactly pehle khud bolte ho ki they should not publicize their mission and then u take a turn...infirmity hai is bande ko...😆

"Don't tell me what to do and what not to, get it?" he screamed.

"You know the rules. The authorities can suspend you for risking our identity."

"Excuse me! Who is risking our identity?" Jack mocked.

"What do you mean?"

"You are the one hanging out with a common man!" Jack fumed.

"Excuse me!" she answered incredulously.

"What was he doing at the party in Hotel Courte?" Jack probed.

"He was just in that party, that's all."😳

"But, these pictures don't seem to agree with your 'that's all story'." Jack answered and pulled out those photographs.

Kriya snatched those pictures from him and glared back at him.

"What the hell! You have been spying on me? Ridiculous." Kriya glowered.

Jack ignored her accusation and continued.

"The comfort level between you both doesn't seem to be like strictly neighbours."

"We are friends." she clarified.

"Why do you think Rey was at the party?"

"He was partying with his friends and it was just a coincidence that I was there for the mission."

"He was there on purpose!" Jack answered.

"He is just a common man." Kriya defended.

"Maybe he is more than just a common man."

"What do you mean?"

"Rey is the same man who had followed you to the villa and I fear that he knows something about us. What exactly and to which extent, I have no idea."

"This can't be true! I think there is some misunderstanding. Rey can't be that man." Kriya objected.

"He is that man. He was been following you on purpose which is still unknown to us. I fear that he might be a hindrance to our mission. I asked Akash to follow you and take your pictures since I was pretty sure that the same man will turn up. I was right." Jack explained.

Kriya looked away not being able to digest the fact that Rey had been following her on purpose and he knew something about them.

"Then, how did he suddenly disappear from the recordings?" Kriya questioned.

"That's still a mystery. There are a few possibilities. First, he is a common man just curious to know about our working and nothing else. Second, he is just like us, a secret agent, who is keen to know our secrets and has something to do with this mission. If we take into account the second possibility then there even might be a few of FBI agents who work for him, maybe even against us."

"I don't feel that he might be a risk to us. He is just a common man." Kriya garrisoned.

"You will have to believe me. He has been following you and there is another problem."

"What sort of problem?"

"It's not easy to digest that we aren't able to trace any information about him. That's strange." Jack announced.

"No information about him? Does that mean that his identity is being kept a secret?" Kriya probed.

"That's exactly my point! This means that he is not a common man." Jack summarised.

"Maybe." Kriya exhaled.

"What is between you and Rey?"

"Nothing." she replied instantly.

"It should better be 'nothing'." he instructed.

"That's none of your business. Stop interfering in my personal life."

"You are working for FBI, which doesn't give you any personal life particularly with a common man." he clarified.

"You have no right to question me." she objected.

"Are you falling for him?" he questioned changing the subject.

"No." she lied.

Jack looked at her angrily and held her wrist tightly.

"You are hurting me!" she screamed without looking at him.

"Like I mentioned just now, that's none of your business." she replied trying to break free from his hold.

"You have already gone too far. Stay away from him and that will be best for all of us." Jack instructed.

"I will handle it."

Jack didn't respond for a while. He was thinking about something quite deeply.

"Kriya, does Rey love you?"

"Yes." she answered without a doubt.

"Good. We can use this to our advantage." Jack smirked mentally.

"What?"

"Yes, we need to get information about him and you will get that for us. Pretend that you love him and get to know everything about him in the flow. I am sure you could do that competently."...ha...as if...⭐️

"What? You want me to cheat him?" Kriya questioned disbelievingly.

"Cheat?" Jack sniggered but Kriya maintained a straight face.

"This is all for our mission. Don't get all sentimental." Jack continued.

"I won't fake anything. I'll just ask him directly."

Jack chortled again at her innocent reply.

"You think he will tell you everything directly? Like he is a five year old and you are his teacher?"

"I am sure he won't lie to me." came a firm reply....finally true love overpowering...

"Well, I need the information by hook or by crook. Do whatever you want but don't forget one thing that I won't let you both get together as long as I am alive!" Jack glared.

Kriya tried to pull herself out of his grip once more but he came closer to her and stiffened the grip.

"Then you might not be alive for long." she answered blankly.

She didn't know why she reacted in that manner. She wasn't able to put Rey aside even more a moment and this feeling was increasing by folds every time she let her thoughts wander around him.

"What did you just say?" Jack questioned while closing the distance between them while she turned her face the other side hating every bit of the proximity.

"Leave me Jack! Or do you want me to slap you once again?"

"Remember what I got against your slap last time?" Jack chuckled.

"You are sick!" she replied and he pinned her against the wall and was nearly pressing his body on her.

"I won't mind a slap if you kiss me sweetheart." Jack grinned.arghhh...what does he want...

Kriya tried to move her legs to hit him and push him away but he was pressing himself on her that there was no way to escape.

"You will have to pay for this!" she muttered trying to distract him but he moved closer.

His face was just inches away from her and he was leaning in for a kiss.

Kriya spit on his face and bit his hand which made him whimper in pain and release her momentarily. She took advantage of this situation and smashed him on his legs with all her force which made him fall backwards on the floor.good one kria,...strong girl...

"This is what happens when you mess with Kriya Ghai!" she announced and immediately opened the front door and gestured him to leave.

She didn't realize that Rey was standing right in front of the door.

"Hey!" Rey said and moved inside the house and looked at Jack standing right in front of him....kya baat...kya baat...kya timing hai rey...

Kriya was shocked to see Rey at that moment. She didn't want Jack to interfere in their matter.

What if he calls me Kriya, by my name? Shit! Shit! Shit!

"Mystery girl, are you okay?" Rey questioned while Kriya was too stunned to respond...awwiiiee...smart move my hottie...

"Huh?" she responded still not able to understand why he called her 'mystery girl' all of a sudden.

"I am fine." she answered.

Rey took a step forward towards Jack and pulled out his hand for a handshake.

"I am Rey." he smirked and Jack too smiled awkwardly and pulled out his hand for a brief handshake.

"I know, heard a lot about you from her." Jack replied.

"Rey, this is Jack, my colleague." Kriya smiled apprehensively.

"I'll take your leave now." Jack announced and moved out of the house not before giving a final noxious look to Rey.

"Rey, I need to talk to you." Kriya said when Jack had left.

"Kriya, I have some important work right now. I'll take to you later, okay?" he replied and gave a peck on her cheeks....i wish i was kria...😳

"Okay." she smiled genuinely.

"Mind if I drop you?" Rey offered a lift to Jack while they were in the parking lot.

"Sure." Jack smirked for this was his perfect chance to talk to Rey face-to-face....face to face tum bat nahi karoge...face pe tum punch khaoge u idiot...

Jack moved inside the car and Rey started driving it with his eyes set on the road.

"So, you and 'your mystery girl' are friends?" Jack started a conversation.

"No, we are more than friends!" Rey replied.

"Don't make assumptions."

"I am not making any assumptions. She loves me and she knows that. She will admit it very soon." Rey responded confidently.

"You don't know anything about her."

"Well, I know her much better than you."

"Who are you Rey and what do you know about her?" Jack questioned.

"I know who you are Jack." Rey responded.

"What does that mean and why have you been following her?"

"Tsch! I thought you FBI guys were really skilled. I am highly disappointed." Rey smirked....m floored by this guy's wits...he looks damn intense when he smirks...

"What? That means you know about us?"

"A lot more than you think." Rey answered confidently.

"That's not good news. You can risk our identity and we will handle you our way."

"What can you possibly do? Kill me?" Rey laughed.

"Yes, we can."

"Sure, go ahead."

"Don't rush Rey! I will kill you no doubt about that." Jack retorted....lame one...try something else baby...

Rey sped up the car and took a sharp turn and moved towards the woods.

"Where are we going?" Jack probed visibly confused.

"Before you plan my demise, there is something you deserve." Rey responded and drove the car to an abandoned place and then the car came to a sudden halt.

"Get out!" Rey ordered....sudden change...😲

"Excuse me!"

"I said get out Jack!" Rey said in a more deadly tone.

Jack moved out of the car and Rey came out from the other side and immediately punched Jack on his face. Jack hit his head with the tree right behind him as he was stamped with a lot of force.

He tried to fight back but Rey didn't give him any chance. Rey smashed him on his stomach with his legs which made him fall backwards and hit the ground.

With a few more efficient moves Jack was lying helpless and bleeding on the floor while Rey pushed his foot right on his neck which suffocated him.

"That is for hitting on my girl!" Rey announced with rage in his eyes....kaha na wish i was kria...possesiveness...😳

"I won't let you have her Rey. She will be with me and you'll be dead." Jack retorted.

"She is already mine." Rey stressed trying to control his temper.

"If she can't be mine, I won't let you have her too." Jack replied while trying to get up.

"Dare you take another step towards her and you will regret your existence!" Rey warned and pulled him up with his strong arms.

Jack pushed him aside and adjusted his clothes and gave a final lethal look to Rey.

"You are lucky that I don't have a gun right now. Else, you would have been dead."

"You are really helpless Jack. I wonder how you will plan to kill someone without any information about him. I feel really sorry that you are unable to trace anything about me." Rey grinned.

"Don't worry about that, I will handle it."

"Good. But, get ready to pay for the consequences." Rey announced and drove his car leaving Jack on the roadside.

When Rey was out of sight Jack received a message on his phone from an unknown number.

Thanks for the pictures; Kriya and mine. We never had any pictures together so this was a nice gesture.

Kriya was in her room still thinking about her conversation with Jack when her phone started ringing.

"Hello?"

"Kriya Ghai, this is Sam from FBI. I am your new coordinator for this mission."

"What? But, what about Jack?" she questioned visibly confused.

"Jack is fired!"

bye bye uncle jack...had enough of your tantrums...m sure rey has something to do with FBI...a higher post maybe...

splendid update...loved it...thanx for making my day...update soon...coz it still remains mysterious...pehle to kria ek mystery thi but now rey...freaking awesome...

The only reason I love this one is because it kind of portrays how much Rey knows Kriya... The fact that he knew it wouldn't be right to call her with her name... But how he knew that, I don't know.. and don't worry, I'm not gonna try guessing either.. Otherwise my other theory, which by the way is close to the Spiderman theory of the genetically engineered spider bite, will kick in.. 😆

I don't think I need to explain this... ☺️ He's aware of her feelings without her even telling him 😃
