Part 13:

Arnav: So you are awake?

Khushi: Hmm.. a bit.. (She said in a aleepy voice)

Arnav: You really sleepy Khushi?

Khushi: Hmm..

Arnav: Fine.. Take some rest.. Where would you hide tomorrow haan? Let me see what excuse you have tomorrow.. If I dont make you wear that Red Lingerie tomorrow then change my name..

He said that and left to get changed.. He came back and saw her still sleeping.. He went next to her on the bed and slept.. Without even touching her.. He didnt like to be like that but he had to..

It was early morning almost 03:00 and Arnav was simply twisting and turning on his own be.. He could see she was in deep sleep and he didnt wanted to actually ruin her sleep, but he could not even control himself from not touching her. He made his way towards her and then untied her choli. She moved a bit.. He started kissing her back and then made her turn towards him , facing him..

Khushi (In a sleepy tone): Arnav.. No.. Please..

Arnav: Khushi.. Really? I mean is sleep so important to you?

Khushi had still her eyes closed.. He smiled.. and noded a Yes for his question.

He left her and then turned the other side and slept.

It was next morning when Khushi got up first and she saw him on the bed with her.. Well the Morning had to be good with him by her side.. She moved close to him.. She could hear him snoring a bit. But she didnt mind.. That means he was in a deep sleep.. Good for her.. She moved more close to him and then gave a peck on his cheek.. He moved a bit.. But he was still not awake..

She got up from the bed smiling and then remembering how he asked her if she was really sleepy last night.. She wasnt that sleepy but she knew if she would allow him yesterday night for his rights, how would she convince him for her conditions.. It was not so easy to get him convinced though.. She cannot ignore him every night like this.. She had to think some other way. She got up and then had her shower. SHe wore a beautiful Red saree today and minimum jewellery and then came down. Anjali and the other family members were down waiting for the couple to come and fulfil some other rituals..

Anjali saw Khushi and came to her..

Anjali: Good Morning Bhabhi.. (She gigled)

Khushi smiled and wished her the same.. She felt a bit proud when Anjali called her Bhabhi and not by her name.. She took blessings of all and then finally sat with them. Everyone was teasing her asking how the last night was.. She kept blushing and they understood...

Anjali: Ok Khushi.. Did Chotte get up? Or is he still sleeping?

Khushi: He was sleeping when I came down.. Do you want me to check?

Anjali: Ohh no no.. I just asked.. Well let him sleep.. Till then we will start with some rituals that you need to perform.. without him..

Anjali asked Khushi to make sweet dish for everyone something except her very own Jalebi's. Khushi agreed. She went in the Kitchen and started making Kheer.. She knew both Arnav and his dad liked it very much. The Kheer was done. FInally Arnav came down.. He looked everywhere to find her but couldnt.. He saw his dad sitting down.. The very sight of him this morning made him angry.. How would be see him everyday staying here? Well difficult task. He hugged his Di and then asked her where Khushi was.. She told him she was in Kitchen. He was going there when Nani stopped him telling that no one is allowed to go in until she finishes the ritual. Arnav was frustrated..

After some time Khushi came out with the Bowls and placed them on the table.. Nani was the head . So she tasted first and then the others.. Everyone liked it.. Arnav didnt taste at all.. Khushi was gifted necklace by Nani, ring by Anjali, and and earings by Payal today and when she took Blessings from Arnav's dad he gifted her a box.. which had Arnav's mothers Bangles.. Arnav recognised it and his eyes were filled with tears. Arnav's dad made her wear those bangles now and Arnav got up to leave from there..

Anjali could see how nervous he was specially seeing his own dad who was the reason for his mother to die, giving the bangles to his wife.. He went straight to his room and then closed the door. Khushi too felt for him.. She took a bowl of Kheer and then knocked their room door.. He didnt open it.. After another knock, the door opened and she saw him walking towards the washroom. She immediately pulled his arm and made him face her.. His eyes were wet. He was crying. She knew what made him like this.. He missed his mother today. Very much.. He tried seeing everywhere else than in her eyes.. She made him sit on the bed edge and she kneeled down. She then wiped his tears from her fingers and then placed her head on his thighs..

Khushi: Arnav.. I know no one would ever take her place in your life.. But seeing you like this missing her, would she be happy? She is always with us Arnav.. She never left us.. She loved you in the form of your sister, she cared for you in the form of your Nani, she protected you in the form of your father..

By listening the word Father from her he pulled her hair and made her look at him. She could feel the pain in her as he pulled her so abruptly..

Arnav: He is not my father .. And my mom could never be in his form.. Never ever say that again..

He said that and pushed her.. Though he loved her, cared for her and much more still his love was overpowered by his anger which he had for his dad within him. He didnt care if she was hurt for that.. It didnt matter.. If she could say something like that she deserved this..

He left the room and came down.
