Hi alll!!!! I know super late update!! my apologies! I have been super busy and had literally no time to update... hope ull all forgive me?? pretty pleaseee??? anywho... back with my update and I do hope that u all like it.. and oh.. thanks for all the lovely comments that u posted.. please keep posting ur feedback.. I love them... and without blabbering any further... here u go with ur next update:😊

Chapter 17:

Khushi had a blurred cision... but she could see that her man was standing there before her... she knew that the bas***d would not be spared today... and that is exactly what happened... she could see arnav rushed towards them... and held shyam by the collar.. and beating him like there is no tomorrow... he punched him uncountable amount of times after which shyam had finally fainted with a face that was full of blood... he couldnt be recognised by an unknown person that is how much arnav has beaten him... once he was on the ground... he kept on kicking an unconscious shyam for god knows how long... and then finally he stopped when he realised that khushi had fainted too... He rushed towards her and tried waking her up.. but she didnt respond... he picked her up and took her to their bedroom and called the doctor... After the doctor came... he examined khushi and all the while arnav was dying of nervousness...

Arnav: Doctor! Is my wife okay?

Doctor: She is fine Mr. Raizada... however it seems like shes been through a lot... she needs good care... and here are some medicines... make she sure she takes them on time...

Arnav: Thank you Doctor...

The doctor left and Arnav sat beside her the whole day.. she was sleeping peacefully... but only arnav knew what she was going through from inside... she would be shattered.. but he had to do whatever he could to make sure shes safe...

Her eyes finally opened.. but there was no life in them... she looked like a dead person... arnav tried speaking to her... but she never responded... and that is when he realised that khushi was going into depression.. or maybe she already was... but he couldnt let that happen... he couldnt let his Khushi get into such a stage... he had to do something...

Arnav: baby... will u not even talk to me? (tears in his eyes)

Khushi: (realised that her silence was killing arnav) I am talking arnav... I just want to be left alone for a while.. (with a staight voice)

Arnav: and what if I dont leave u alone?

Khushi: thats up to u isnt it? No body listens to me anyway... they do whatever they want to me... u got married to me to save ur sister... u never gave me a chance to explain then... I told u I wasnt at fault... u didnt listen to e then either... told ur di the truth.. she didnt listen to me either... and then when I was screaming yesterday and asked him to et his hands off me... he didnt listen to me.. (straight voice)

Arnav: Khushi... what r u saying baby? I wont spare him.. u know I wont spare him..

Khushi: How does it matter now? Is killing him gonna change the fact that he touched me?

Arnav: (silent)

Khushi: why r u talking to me arnav? I know u would never love me the way u did after what u saw..

Arnav: what? What r u saying khushi?

Khushi: that what angered u in the beginning is what happened in the end...u thought I was with him in the beginning.. and he succeeded in kissing me yesterday... touching me... im not..

Arnav: (cut through her sentence) shut up! I said just shut up!! how could u even think that my love will lessen for u khushi? Is that what u think of me?

Khushi: that is not the question arnav.. the question is what u think of after last night..

Arnav: What I think is that u r the most important person of my life... the person I love unconditionally... the person I without whom my breathing will stop.. the person who means the world to me... a person who id rather die without thn staying apart from..

Khushi: (looked and arnav with teary eyes and hugged him) im sorry arnav.. I didnt want him to touch me.. I feel sick... impure..

Arnav: sshh... ur the purest person I know... and no one can change that.. even a bas***d like him..

Days passed by and arnav and khushi only had basic conversations... khushi never said anything exciting and nothing arnav said ever excited khushi.. what brought her moral down even more was that anjali did not believe a thing arnav said about shyam and in fact blamed khushi.. that for her shyam was beaten by arnav... arnav got angry at anjali but to a certain level becayse at the end of the say.. she was still his di... khushi fulfilled all the responsibilities she had to on her day to day life... however.. the actually khushi that everybody knew was nowhere to be found... she was just a dutiful wife... towarda arnav and to the family.. Arnav had tried so much to cheer her up... tried making jalebi on his own... brought gol gappas... but nothing seemed to please her... arnan kept thinking day and night as to what he could do that would get Khushi's attention...

and finally... how long could brilliant ideas stay away from brilliant singh raizada? Finally arnav knew what to do... he knew that no matter how sad khushi was... she would do whatever it takes to make arnav happy... and during that time.. arnav would make sure khushi redeems her old self back again as well... Arnav singh Raizada was not the birthday type person... but this year he had to be one in order to gain khushis attention... while he was planning all this... Khushi came into the room..

Arnav: Khushi...

Khushi: yes? Did u need something?

Arnav: umm.. well I think u would give it to me before I even need it?

Khushi: I dont understand...

Arnav: Khushi... u did get angry at me when I didnt wish u on your birthday didnt u?

Khushi: no arnav.. why would I be angry.. u didnt know it was my birthday...

Arnav:... hmm.. and thats a very bad thing... but u do know when my birthday is dont u?

Khushi: yes of course... its.. its.. omg! Its tomorrow isnt it?

Arnav: correct... how nice of u to remember my birthday khushi..

Khushi: omg!! I cant believe I just remembered now!! And I didnt even plan anything! (pouted)

Arnav: (was extremely happy to see the spark in khushis eyes again and walks forward and kissed her pouted lips) well.. its not to late now is it?

Khushi: Never!! ull have the best birthday Arnav Singh Raizada!! u wait and watch!! (smiles)

Arnav: well what can be better then having my crazy khushi on my birthday!!

Khushi: (smiles cuz she knew arnav was doing this for her) well... then be prepared mr. raizada... ull have a blast tomorrow...

Arnav: am I? So what r u planning to do? Get me a stripper?

Khushi: (her mouth forms an "O" shape) you want a stripper? On ur birthday?! Its not ur bachelors party u know... besides... who asks for a stripper from his wife as a birthday present?! R u stupid?

Arnav: no im not... who said I wanted someone else to strip Mrs. Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada.. (smirks)
