Part-8(The last part)
Arnav got up and saw his little lot of happiness snuggling in his arms. He tried getting up without waking her up but he was unsuccessful.
"Arnavvv...Let me sleep."
"Khushi, its already 8. I need to get up. You also get up. How much will you sleep?!!"
"As if you let me have any sleep last night." Khushi, was now awake, and blushed at her own statement.
"As if you wanted to sleep last night, my little tigress." Arnav said teasing her.
Since their confession, things had changed. Arnav was discharged from the hospital 3 months back and they had returned to Delhi. The entire Raizada
family was overwhelmed with Khushi back. The preist was called and a 'mahurat' was chosen for their re-wedding, this time with all the functions. Arnav-Khushi were Mr. and Mrs. Raizada again, this time completely and forever. Today, a month was completed in the raizada mansion for khushi as a raizada bahu.
Khushi got up and looked into his eyes, still lying on his chest. He carressed her face smoothly and tuck a strand of hair behind her hair. She cupped his face lovingly and kissed his forehead.
She threw the duvet aside and realized that she had been wearing absolutely nothing and Arnav's mischevious eyes were glaring at her all over. She pulled the duvet back and covered herself completely from his eyes. Arnav laughed at her childish behaviour and went to take a shower.
When Arnav came out, he saw Khushi already ready in a blue saree with a small golden box in her hand."Arnav, I am getting late for the 'aarti', please come fast." saying this, she placed her hand forward with the little box still in her hand. Arnav opened the box and took a pinch of 'sindoor' and filled her parting with it. Khushi closed her eyes in pure bliss. He reached forward and kissed her forehead.
This had been their routine. Every single day Arnav would fill her parting with sindoor which he visualized as renewing their marrital vows everyday. Everyday while doing this, he would promise himself to never make his 'bundle of joy' sad. Khushi would leave everything in the world just to make him put sindoor on her head.
The aarti was done, and everyone was sitting at the dining table having their breakfast. The raizada family had been rejunivalized after khushi's re-entry. Anjali was over her past, thanks to KKGSR! Arnav smiled more than needed now, again thanks to KKGSR!
Khushi came out of the kitchen with a plate of paranthas in her hand when she suddenly felt dizzy. She was about to hit the floor when arnav caught her, the plate of paranthas down.
'Khushi..Khushi..' Khushi became momentarily unconscious.
'Arnav..I-i am fine..just.. thoda chakkar aa gaya tha.'
But arnav didnt listen to her and rang the doctor immediately. He lay Khushi upstairs on their bed when the doctor arrived.
After 10-15 minutes of examining, the doctor came out and said.
'Congratulations, Mr.Raizada. You are soon going to blessed with a child. Your wife's expecting.'
Arnav stood their dumbstruck. Was the doctor serious?! He thought again and again.
The Raizada ladies started hugging each other with tears in their eyes. Arnav too blinked back tears and rushed inside to see Khushi. He saw Khushi carressing her stomach which he took as a sign of her knowing about the upcoming happiness.
The only thing that was exchanged between them were silent tears. None spoke a word but their eyes spoke volumes. Arnav sat beside her khushi and laid his hand on her hand which was on her stomach.
"Khushi, we..we a-r-e.."
'I know.. I never expected so much happiness in this life.'
They hugged each other tightly until they were disturbed by the other members. All the raizasdas congratulated the to-be-parents and hugged them. Everyone was beyond happy. After sometime, they left the couple alone to share their happiness.
Arnav took Khushi's hand and led her to the poolside, the place which was the witness of their love, of their fights, of every colour of their relationship.
"Khushi, I want you to describe your happiness.."
"BEYOND WORDS..Arnav.."
Arnav went inside and got the book 'Beyond Words' which was now one of the best-sellers in the country. They sat there reading it, talking in between, fighting at times, loving each other. The pool, which had been their witness, today also held the sounds of their voices. Their story goes on forever, with the water, the air, the plants and everything else witnessing their umcomparable love. After all, every love-struck relationship is empty without fights!
Perfect story, isnt it! One that everyone wants, where the prince meets his princess. Love is never a straight line, its a line with never ending turns. But turning the turns with your hand in your loved one's makes the joryney easier. And guess what, love that triumphs over all the hurdles is what counts!
