~~~~ Chapter 11~~~~
Anyways I left for Paris, Paris is such a beautiful city, the river The ppl and love, its like it breathes in the Air there, Intially I had a lot of trouble in adjusting there, the food, the accented langaguge, the french all were too much for me. Luckly for me we had a Indian Professor for the 6 of the selected Students, She helped me a lot to adjust, though she was an Indian but she had been Paris for more than 15 yrs, she understood our problems and offered solution which were easy & practical.
Soon I started adjusting & enjoing the learning, the things were so different the cuts silhottes etc all I enjoyed the learning, Each Lecture filled me with Pleasure & each assigment was a reward where in I pushed to get the best. Everyone was impressed with my work, but I only looked for sumthing which I could nvr get, when ever I got free time or saw a pool instantly I was transfered to RM, each evening bought hoardes of memories, and to top them were Aditis words.
For hrs I used to stand by seine & think abt you & then abt us, slowly the hurt had stopped only my memoeries of the twinkle in your eyes, the shy smile & naughty peep which happened when you though no one was watching you and you did, I loved the way you cared for naniji, di, mamaji, mamji , jiju & payal di. how you bought them things they would enjoy and yet never took credit for them, In paris I guess I feel In love with you again.
One day I called ur cell just to hear your voice, I guess it much hv been midnight by your time in Delhi & All I heard was sleepy Hallo yet nothing could hv sounded sweeter. I felt like after days of parchment my being had been drenched in rain, O how happy I had been.
then Arnav noticed, Khushi shuddered, he said, I guess you are tired, shall we Leave at this for tonite, we can continue agn tomorrow nite, if you like/ Khushi said ok & he noticed she was already falling asleep on the couch, he adjusted her nicely tucked her in & moved to his room. Tonite he felt strange, how had Khushi dealt with Life, it was a learning for him, he had nvr thought in his dreams Khushi in Paris.yet she had been there
That Morning he awoke before her and when she woke he was waiting for her with tea and again he felt it ws dream seeing her waking up like this she felt so fresh. muttering the daily ramblings of her orgaining her own schedule before she opened her eyes.
She smiled a lil sat up looked at the surroundings as if she woke up from a dream. He felt such peace to see his like this. they had the tea togther their first in all the years they had known each other. he savoured each moment of it.
He told her I hv some urgent meetings & I will be out of delhi for next two days, if you dont mind can we be in touch with text, she rolled her eyes in surprise & instantly she told him him why didnt you tell me before??? He said they came just this morning, you know how sometime site problems need me to travel, she laughed then Relax Arnavji I was jus joking, i understand, work is important & you are a important man, He replied Khushi Please, she gv me a confident smile again & said relax, we gone be in touch with text & call me when you reach back, will hv dinner together.
She got ready & than left.
He Left, reached RM & left for Airport.
from the Airport He texted her, Hi, tum theek ho?
Khushi Smiled, Yes Starting my day with a Smile, Thanks to U.
She texted him back, Where R u?
He texted: In the lounge @ Airport
Safe journey came in the text.
She flew for her meeting to Noida, she had some suppliers for the upcoming Christmas Seasons, When she got there her Assistant introduced with The owners & one she got started work, she forgot abt evrything else , arnd Lunch time she got a text, Khushi its Lunch time, go have your Lunch. She smiled, ( how had he changed)
Later that Night She texted him, how did your day go Arnavji
she waited & waited but no repli came, n as she was abt to hit the bed she got the text, sorry was bzy at dinner with the client, couldnt reply earlier, So far so good.
she read but couldnt get the words to reply back , in some moments came the reply
where are you
she texted Home
what you doing? came in the text
Abt to sleep,
sleep tite came in the reply.
The next morning, Khushi wasnt all that well, so she didnt hear the first msg that came in in 30 mins another message came in the 3rd one came in 15 mins so by 8 am she woke she saw 5 msgs, she knew he must hv panicked she replied sorry was sleeping dint see your msgs dunt worry I will be waiting for you when you come back, do you want me to meet you at the Airport.
Instantly His reply came, Oh !!!!( she knew he must hv ben pacing in his room till she hadnt replied).
She texted him, how abt your tea & medicines did you take them.
he replied all done off to a meeting.
Arnd lunch today she messaged him How abt Lunch, whats on the menu.
he texted all well going until now.
She texted what time your flight lands in????
he texted delayed will raech arnd 2 am, she replied ok.
She texted him, off to industrial survey, will be off signal for few hrs, will text you once bk.
she called Aman.
At abt 2 am @ Delhi Airport That night, Khushi was waiting there with her trademark salwar kameez, shawl & smile wide enough to cover her face.
Arnav came from the flight to departure & started looking for his driver, he knew Mohan must hv come. Aman had confirmed before he boarded flight, he didnt find Mohan it had been 10 mins. He was becoming impatient, somebody tapped him from behind, He saw Khushi standing behind him with her salwar kameez he was pleasntly surprised, these last few days he had grown accoustmed watching Khushi in her Levis, so she looked pleasant to him in this tday, she told him my park is parken in allley 3, we need to walk till there.
In the car she told him, Are you going to RM now, he looked towards her, she told him I just need to know whether you still hv you suite at the hotel or are you tired would like to go RM straight, he told I hv the suite, so she drove to the hotel & told him, If you wan go freshen up please go I will be back in 10-15 mins & than we decide.
he was pleasantly surprised yet he knew Khushi had no limits to her naughtiness.
when he had freshened & was raedy to move towards couch, beeped his cell
come down Anav ji, I am at the carpark.
when he went down she was waiting for him, hop in she told him and she when inside
the car she told we going for ice cream, she drove to CP, parked the car & enetered the hazendaaz ice cream for them, for him she had ordered Vanila sugar free. she still remembered his flaovor.
After picking the ice cream she said I thought bcz its weekend, I thought we could hv some fun.
He kept looking towards her with lot of untold emotions. and then she told him lets walk, the stores were all closed & place had a deserted look so when they moved out of the icecream parlor she jus took him with her and kept walking. and then she said, those days in paris gv me a lot of time to spend with my self I kept thinking about you & me & what happened between us , why it happened & how had we dealt it, and the more I thought I came to conclution that we had Love for each other but there was something which was missing just that I couldnt find that pulse, butthen thoughts abt us never left, & then Like when a drop of water keeps falling on a rock & one day you find a dent in the mighty I found my answers, I realised since the Day we meet you were on a much higher pedestal in life so high that I almost didnt stand visible to you but we kept meeting & soon we noticed each other you bcz I kept bothering you with my pranks & you bcz I was so stupid but what ever was it we noticed each other and started liking each other somewhere but I guess there was so much difference in our thinking that we didnt find a way to reach out to each other and then i guess the MU happened and after that whatever hapened wasnt your fault or mine bcz we both were standing in opposite directions with each other we could hv reached to each other and build a bridge but again we nvr made that effort. and then when the truth was out you got your share of shock & I got my share of shock, but in all that both of never made an effort to talk and then I left, and for days I kept thinking the reason for why couldnt we talk.
