'Masquerade party?' Kria asked Misha and Jas while she did stretches on the floor.
'Yeah! It will be great fun Kria! Come on!' Jas explained.
'And...you might even get a chance to dance', Misha said as she looked at Kria's expression change from hesitancy to excitement.
'Dance?' Kria asked excitedly as both Misha and Jas nodded and high fived each other behind their backs.
'Okay...but I don't have anything to wear!' Kria complained.
'Oh, don't you worry about that! We have it covered!' Jas said happily as Kria raised her eyebrow in question.

'Masquerade!' Sharon announced to the confused looks of the gang.
'Masqu- gaali diya!' Bharat said as he got up from his seated position with his fists balled up.
'No, no, no...it is not a gaali!' Vicky said as he pulled him back down.
'Okay', Bharat said as he calmed down and Sharon relaxed.
'Guys, tonight there is a masquerade party as part of the conference and we are ALL going!' Sharon clarified to the whole gang.
'Masquerade party!!!!' Simmi and Rinni exclaimed as they started jumping around and hugging Sharon.
'But Sharon...it doesn't say that in the schedule', Rey asked checking the schedule again.
'Uh...no it is a special SURPRISE event planned for us to attend so that we can...' Swayam said as he motioned for Sharon to continue.
'SOCIALISE! Yeah, it's a surprise party so that we can socialise', Sharon completed and Swayam gave her a relieved look.
Rey shrugged, 'Cool with me...we'll all be there!'
The rest of the group nodded in agreement and started discussing clothes, well the girls were discussing clothes, while the guys were as usual...discussing the hot chicks that would be there.
Swayam and Sharon high fived each other and Sharon sent a message to Misha.

REY IS CUMIN...WHAT BOUT KRIA?
Misha read the message and happily replied to them.
KRIA IS COMING TOO! PHASE ONE ACCOMPLISHED!
'Misha, yaar hurry up we have to start getting ready or else we will be late!' Kria shouted from inside the bathroom.
'Yeah, I'm coming!'

'Yaar...how long will these girls take? It's already 7 pm!' Nilesh said as he looked impatiently at his watch.
All the guys were dressed in the same black suits with no tie and they all had black masks on and were waiting impatiently for the girls. Nilesh went and banged on the door again, 'Hurry up! All the hot chicks will be gone!'
'We're coming!' the girls shouted from the inside as the door opened and there stood the six girls in all their glory.
'Wow...' breathed the guys as they saw their lady loves, then hawa hawa and beautiful music.
'Uh...guys?' Rey said as he waved his hand in front of the guys' faces because he din't have anyone to look at not after Kria... 'Guys!' he said more forcefully this time managing to snap them out of their reverie.
All the girls and guys linked arms and set down to the party.

'Hurry up Kria! I think we're late!' Jas cried as she looked at the time, 7:30 pm, Misha tapped her foot impatiently.
'Yeah, I'm coming!' shouted Kria as she stepped out of the room.
'You look gorgeous!' Misha said as she and Jas quickly hugged Kria and crossed their fingers for good luck.
'Let's go girls!' Jas said but Kria stopped and took out her camera.
'Wait! Let's take pictures first!' Kria said as the girls snapped a few pictures then headed down to the party.
Jas quickly texted Swayam.

WE R COMIN DOWN! READY?
Swayam nudged Sharon as he saw the message and let her read it.
'Time for phase two', Swayam whispered as headed to the DJ.
The rest of the gang were standing around talking.
'This uncomfortable making Neha', Neha complained as she wriggled in her sequined dress.
'But you look very pretty', Vicky said making her blush.
'Yeah, all you girls look very nice', Rey commented as the other guys nodded their heads.
'Thanks, you boys look good too', Sharon replied to the guys.
'Of course we look good...especially when there are such good looking girls here', Nilesh said glancing around the room. Simmi jabbed him in the shoulder and glared at him, 'Ow!' Nilesh said rubbing his shoulder. Nilesh turned around to go get a drink and stopped in his tracks.
'Guys...look at the door', Nilesh breathed as he stared at the door.
'What?' Rey asked as he too turned around and stared dumbfounded at the gorgeous girl in the gold dress.
Suddenly, a familiar feeling came to Rey and a light breeze blew in the room.
Kria too had a feeling that someone she knew was in this room.
'Ready Kria?' Jas asked squeezing her hand.
Kria nodded and the three headed in and sat on a table, while Misha quickly messaged Swayam under the table.
WE'RE HERE! WHERE R U?
Swayam's phone beeped and he looked at the message; he looked around and saw Misha in her mask looking around anxiously.
I CAN SEE U. CALM DOWN, IT WILL ALL GO AS PLANNED.
The DJ came back from his call, 'Okay, I'll do it. What did the girl look like?' he asked Swayam.
'She's sitting right there in the gold dress', Swayam told him as the DJ nodded and got back to his turntable.
Swayam headed back to his gang, 'Guys, why don't we sit down?' he said as he saw all the guys staring in one direction and smiled to himself.
'Yeah, we will if these guys move!' Rinni said angrily, glaring at the gorgeous girl in gold.
The girls pushed the guys into the table directly opposite Kria's and sat down. The guys went back to normal then except for Rey who kept staring at Kria constantly. Taani was looking at Rey worriedly and tried to make out what was so special about the girl Rey was staring at.
Vicky nudged Nilesh, 'Nil, look at Rey he keeps staring at her. Let's hope he finally finds his girlfriend in this party, if not we'll find one for him', he whispered as Nilesh and Vicky shook hands and nodded.
'Sharon, the girl in gold is Kria. Look at the way Rey is staring at her', Swayam lowered his head and whispered into Sharon's ear.
Sharon looked at Rey and smiled, 'She looks nice, I mean more than she usually does', Sharon told Swayam in a way of complimenting Kria.
'Yes, but you look much prettier', Swayam said to Sharon as she blushed.
The hall went quiet as the light's dimmed and the party organiser stood in the centre of the hall to give a speech.
'Hello guys and girls welcome to our Masquerade Ball, as of special request we are holding a random dancing competition. We will randomly shine a spotlight on somebody and they will have to perform a couple dance on the dance floor', he said as the hall erupted in cheers and claps.
'Okay, so here we go,' the speaker said as the random lights moved around the hall and landed on an unsuspecting Nilesh who stood up excitedly as the gang cheered and clapped for him. Simmi crossed her fingers that the light would fall on her but instead it fell on a hot girl in a short black dress. Nilesh's eyes popped wide open as he hurried to the dance floor while everyone else got up and stood in a circle around them.
Nilesh performed a samba dance with the girl on I hate love stories while the crowd cheered him on. Kria looked at Nilesh suspiciously, he was reminding her of someone she knew but she couldn't put her finger on it. In the end she shrugged and enjoyed the performance. After the performance was over the crowd cheered and applauded them except Simmi who had a sour look on her face and crossed her arms over her chest.
'Alright! That was an awesome performance! Let's choose someone else!' the speaker announced as the lights roamed around again and landed on Rey as he stepped out and went onto the dance floor.
Taani was praying that the light falls on her but the light passed her and fell on Kria. With the spotlight on her Kria looked around and Jas and Misha squeezed her shoulders.
'This is your chance! Burn the floor!' Misha said as Kria walked towards the dance floor.
'Please Universe Ji, don't make me screw this up...this is the first time I will dance after...' Kria trailed off her inward prayer to Universe Ji as she headed to the dance floor.
The music started, 'Sau Dard Hai' as Rey and Kria held each other and performed.

At this part of the song Rey and Kria's masks fell off and the music stopped for a second as the two stared at each other. Tears formed in Kria's eyes as she couldn't believe that she was seeing him again. Rey was too happy to even smile as the shine in his eyes gave his happiness away.
'Kria!' the gang exclaimed as they finally saw who the girl in the golden dress was, the gang clapped and cheered more loudly after they saw who it was and hugged each other.
Swayam, Sharon, Misha and Jas were so happy that the plan worked that they couldn't keep their excitement off their faces.
The song started again.

With the ending of the song Kria and Rey held each other in their arms, oblivious to the thunderous applause and people around them.
'Kria! Kria!' Rey and Kria heard someone distantly shouting her name frantically but didn't let go of each other until a hand came and grabbed Kria's arm.
Kria was pulled away from Rey who stood there with his arm stretched out and the gang looked towards Rey and Kria with sadness on their faces, until they saw who was pulling Kria...then they felt scared for her.
Kria looked back at Rey and then turned to look at the person who was pulling her angrily towards the foyer of the hall where there was nobody. Kria stopped in her tracks when she saw who the person was.

I know it's a cliff hanger...guess who you guys think the person is...
I tried really hard to pen down the dance sequence but you can't write the chemistry and dance of ArSha...so I tried my hardest and I'm sorry if it sounds stupid.
Make sure you listen to the song while you read it because you'll find out the reason why I chose that song...and it sets the mood.
