Arnav heard Khushi's voice and speedily approach her...
"Arnavji...?
Sitting beside her, he took her hand in his...caressing it softly...
He looked completely spent...his eyes were red, his body still shaking from the impact of his emotions...
"A...Arnavji?..."
She looked up into his grim face... He was trying desperately to gather together all the things he wanted to say...all the apologies he needed to make...all the feelings surging inside him that he wanted to express...but he couldn't control the tears that flooded his eyes, rolling down his face.
"Khushi...I..." sobs tore through him. Emotions he'd held in check swamped his soul.
He now came face to face with the fact that he almost lost her...
Arnav pressed soft kisses on her hand. "Everything's fine... He won't ever hurt you again... "
Tears formed in her eyes...
"No...no no...Shhh" he lifted her and held her close as she cried...
Her doelike eyes glistened as she looked up at him, and her rosy lips beckoned with a need he hadn't the strength to fight.
Arnav lowered his mouth to hers and took his fill of her sweetness.
The kiss was incredibly soft and nurturing ...their tongues entwined rhythmically around each others... hearts united as one...
Arnav continued to kiss her softly, tentatively...tracing the soft contours of her mouth...He felt her start to tremble and, for a moment, feared her response...
"Khushi..." he whispered...her lips were a warm breath from his...
"w...what...what happened...?" her soft inquiring eyes met his...
"It's over...The police caught Shyam...He WILL NOT come near you again..."
She let out a short gasps of pain and relief..."he...he won't try to hurt you?"
Arnav cried internally at her concern for him instead of herself...he gently shook his head..."He won't come near me, and more importantly, he won't come near you..."
Holding her closer, he continued..."sweetheart...the doctor said I can take you home soon..."
She froze...alarm began to splutter through her..."Home?" she thought..."the place where he yells, where he abuses, where he hates me...if i leave here...he won't love me anymore..."
Feeling scared about the upcoming change she blurted out..."I don't want to go anywhere with you..."
Stunned to silence, Arnav disengaged her arms from him and moved back carefully to look at her...
"Wh...what did you say?"
She stared up at him, all the old doubts rushing back to coil their clammy tendrils about her heart...
She held her chest as her heart began to ache...
Seeing her sudden onset of fear and uncertaintly, he held her face gently and lifted her eyes to his...
"Khushi? ...talk to me..." he said as terror started to build within him...
"You ... You won't..." nerves stopped her from voicing her anxiety...
"I won't what sweetheart..." his face was revealing his immense concern ...
"If I...If I go back to your...your house...you won't... love me anymore..."
It hit him...
He realized her fear...
Her memories...
His yelling...
His threatening...
His anger...
His fury...
His hatred...
There was not a doubt in his mind of his ardent love for her...
"You...you think I won't...Khushi...I...I..." ...Promptly climbing on top of her, he straddled her hips as she fell back onto the bed...
His breath rasped hard and heavy now...
"Khushi..."
She turned her eyes away...
"Khushi..." he breathed on a sigh. . . "Look in my eyes..."
Nervously she gazed up...
"Calm your fears sweetheart... I'm not fool enough to think I could ever deny my feelings for you again...MY heart would stop beating if I didn't have you..."
Overcome with desire for her...his mouth slanted over hers with demanding mastery.
For a moment, she remained unresponsive, frozen in his arms...
But as his hands moved firmly and lovingly over her skin...she began to melt...
With a shudder, her lips began to move against his.
As he deepened the kiss, she relaxed and wrapped her previously rigid arms warmly around his neck...
Arnav's mouth simply…overtook hers...
The kiss knocked her sideways, even as he pressed his body into her...
When he broke free from her mouth, Khushi gasped for breath...
He whispered, "You undo me. You have from the second you I saw you."

As she was going to respond, Arnav swooped in and fiercely kissed her again...
"there is no way I could EVER give you up...or stop protecting or wanting or needing you..."

Holding her shoulders, he lifted her upper body a few inches up from the bed...
Khushi's head fell back bearing her neck...and her hands came up to cling tightly on Arnav sinewed arms...
He leaned in and began to boorishly suck, lick and kiss her neck ...
Every sound he made vibrated along her skin making her pulse with pleasure...
He kissed a path up to her ear and held her tightly against his chest..."YOU...ARE...MY...ONE...AND...ONLY...LOVE..."
Releasing her, her back hit the bed and she exhaled in shock...
Her eyes flew open...
Her lips parted in surprise...
Instantly, his mouth opened, and he kissed her with a firm, suctioning pressure...moving to change angles every few seconds without once breaking contact with her. ..
The ache inside her heart vanished...to be replaced by a throbbing ache between her legs...
