Arnav faced the doorway...

For 24 horrendous hours he knew that Shyam WAS outside the room...lurking...
He never doubted Khushi...
His emotions tugged at him...her fear...her tears...every sob, every cry would pain him...
When the doctor had visited him last, Khushi had been asleep...
He had told him of the breach of security and asked immediately for all surveillance footage to be sent to his laptop...
There he had seen it.
Shyam had been lurking the entire time.
From the moment they arrived at the hospital...
He had seen her die...
He had seen her come back to life...
He had heard Arnav ask for a secure room...
Shyam had infiltrated the private floor of the hospital before they even went up there...
Arnav knew they were safe and secure in the room...
He also knew that the guards were stopping anyone but Khushi's doctor coming up, so Shyam wouldn't be able to escape...

Arnav's eyes turned red with rage...he tried to maintain his self control when he spoke..."Doctor... I want the surveillance in the hallways doubled..."
"Ofcourse Mr. Raizada, but there has been no one else come up other than me..."
"Are all the rooms empty on this floor? I mean, is there ANY medical equipment up here at all? Supply cupboards?"
"No sir...the entire floor has been cleared..."
"okay...and one more thing..."
Arnav paused...he hated to this to her...
Her trust in him was severely important...but...
Her life...
Her life held more importance to him than anything else...
He didn't want her subjected to any more mental torture...
Reluctantly he spoke..."Doctor...Khushi has still been having many disturbed nights...Is there a medicine I could give Khushi to take that would make her sleep...I am worried about her panic attacks..."
"Certainly..."
The doctor gave 3 small sedatives to Arnav...
"just give her these with some water and within 10 or so minutes she will not be able to stay awake...at least she'll have some proper rest..."
Arnav nodded...His heart hurting that he had to deceive Khushi...

Arnav stood facing the door.
He had to lure him out...
Arnav quickly pulled all the screens around Khushi...
Blocking her sleeping state from what was about to happen...
"Your sick obsession with MY wife ends to day..."
Arnav felt his heart harden...
He strapping body stiffened...
Prepared to strike...
Prepared to defend...
A horrific smile stretched across his face...
His voice was low and terrifying..."You ready come out and Play Shyam...?"
Arnav keyed in the security code to unlock the door...
He swung the door open and stepped back...
Arnav stood directly in front of Khushi blocking her from any harm...
Since there was no medical equipment on their level, he knew Shyam had no weapons...
But it didn't matter if he did, because 'Arnav' had fled from his body...taken over by a cunning beast ready to fight to the death to protect what belonged to him...

10 minutes...
20 minutes...
Finally...
Arnav heard someone approach...
