Confusing...just like how excerpts are meant to be

Either Arnav is about to die, Ayan is their son, or she loved her husband who died, leaving their son, and Khusi had to take up the job for her son't sake. The italics matches with this, like she will not allow her to fall in love again, cause she lost her husband.
