To start with I want to thank all those readers who have read & appreciated my work here.🤗 Honestly speaking, India Forums has been the ever 1st platform where I have received this much appreciation, complements, accolades.😊 Never in my life I got this much appreciation & success & all credit goes to you all readers.😃 I have been craving for success & when I dint get any in outside world I thought to distract my mind & started writing here. But you guys poured me with immense love & support for which I am grateful to you all.😊 I am overwhelmed with your response & this has made me greedy & I want more of it. So, here a big-big THANK YOU to all my readers & friends & to INDIA FORUMS as well.

Part # 12
Their convo was interrupted when the waiter aarived to take their order & they looked at each other feeling a bit embarrased for not deciding over the food. Maan ordered for fresh lime soda for starters & told him to come back after few minutes to take the order for food. After the waiter was gone Maan said to Geet, " so wot wud u like to eat? Go thru the menu & decide before he comes back." but wot Geet said stunned him, "I'll have wotever u order. I don't have any problem. So, u decide & order urself." Maan was like really & said, "are u sure?" to which Geet nodded in yes & Maan thot this girl never stops surprising me.
Maan took the menu card & ordered food for them. He was well aware with Muskan's choices so it wasn't a problem but he had no idea about Geet's taste so he wanted to ask her if she's okay with wot he's ordering for them or not. So, he called her but she was extremely busy in playing with Muskan with spoons & forks. Wait, did he see right? Are they really playing a spoon fight? He again looked at them & wot he saw was both were holding their spoons as if they are swords & were having a sword oops spoon fight. Maan for a moment cudn't believe his eyes & then he concluded that he is rather having lunch wid two kids.😆 He called Geet again this time a bit louder. Both looked at him annoyed & for a moment Maan was scared but soon gained his MSK composure & spoke, "Geet, see I don't know wot u like so plz tell wot u want to eat." Geet gave him a disapproving look😒 & said, "aapne isliye humara game disturb kiya?" Maan nodded yes like an obidient child to which Geet said, "Ohfo, Maan aap apni pasand se kuch bhi order kar dijiye aur plz hume ab khelne dijiye. We want to finish our game before foodd comes." And again Geet & Muskan got busy. Maan just shook his head in disbelief & gestured the waiter to come & take their order.
Meanwhile, at Foundation . . .
As Raj cut the call & looked at the person who banged into him, he smiled & said, "arre aap! Abhi tak yahin hain gaye nahi?" The person looked at him & said, "no Capt. Rajeev. Actually my friend ditched me. He went away leaving me behind." he said with a puppy dog face. Raj chuckled at his plight & said, "Dhruv, its Raj. U call me Raj only. And don't worry ur not only one who's been ditched, I too fall in same category." He said & gave him a sympathetic look. Dhruv gave him a confused look & Raj cntd., "my friend too went away with some1 else for lunch." Dhruv gave him an I-undrstand-look & said, "toh phir ek kam karte hain hum bhi unhe ditch kar dete hain & lets have lunch together. Waise bhi mujhe lift aur company dono chahiye!"😃 Raj gave smile to him & said, "yeah, lets do this!" both laughed & went for lunch unknown to the fact that their friends are having lunch together.
In the restaurant . . . .
The spoon fight game over long time back with of course Muskan as winner & after that Maan had requested both kids to be sober so they were sitting quitely. But Geet being Geet spoke, "aisa lag raha hai jaise hum class room mein baithe. Sit quietly with finger on ur lips type." Maan almost gave up. Just then something caught Muskan's attention & she jumped in joy & said, "arre wah! Aunty waha dekho kitne sare games hain. Chalo hum waha chalte hain." she said poitnting towards gaming zone attached to restaurant. (hey I don't if there is any sort of gaming zone there so call it hypothetical & imagine). Maan & Geet looked in the direction & before Geet cud agree wid Muskan, Maan spoke, "Muskan, hum khana khane ke baad waha chalenge." saying so he looked at Geet who just twisted her lips. But Muskan was adamant so Maan has to divert her by saying, "beta, look restaurant closes at 3pm, toh agar hum abhi waha gaye toh hum khana nahi kha payenge. Aur main apko bhookha nahi rakh sakta." Muskan looked at Geet & asked innocently, "aunty rest..umm.." she gulped down her saliva & then spoke again, "reshorant 3pm band ho jaega?" Poor Geet she can't lie now. Its true they closes at 3pm & if they go gaming now toh lunch toh pakka gaya. So she made a baby face & nodded in yes & said, "hum khana kha k pakka jaenge chahe uncle chale ya nahi." Muskan agreed happily & Maan looked at Geet in bewilderment thinking "why is she mad at me now! Ab maine kya kar diya? Yeh ladki sach mein mujhe pagal kar degi."
The food arrived & the trio enjoyed their meal. Maan was doubtfull whether Geet wud like wot he had ordered or not but to his surprise Geet had expressed extreme joy when she saw the dishes which clearly meant she liked them & he was happy with the fact. When they finished the meal Maan made the payment & Muskan immediately said, "yippiiee ab hum games khelenge!" She was extremely happy today, Maan cudn't deny the fact. Though she's always happy with him but 2day she has some glow on her face which gave satisfaction to Maan's heart. Before Maan cud say anything he saw Geet holding Muskan's hand giving him an angry glare😡 & walking off to the games section. He just cudn't comprehend wot has he done which had made Geet this mad at him, so just walked behind them.
As soon as Muskan reached in gaming zone she started running here & there to have a look of the games giving Geet a tuff time to get hold of her. Finally, Muskan settled for one game & Geet sighed in relief. Maan was watching all this from distance as he dared not to neared Geet, wot if she blasts at him in public.😆 He saw Geet settling Muskan & then walking towards him & tried to figure out wot was cooking in her mind. For a moment he thot off running away!🤣 But then he thot, I am Maan Singh Khurana, I am not scared of any1.
Geet had seen Maan sitting at one side, so she thot to sit with him while Muskan plays. Hence, she moved towards his direction. She reached near him & sat on the couch beside him. She saw him looking at Muskan lovingly & cudn't help but admire the bond b/w the two. She had been curious to know how he know Muskan, abt their bond & all but din't get the chance. She thot its the best time to ask him, so she cleared her throat to gain his attention, "ahem-ahem.." Maan was aware of Geet sitting beside him but he dint speak fearing she is still mad but then he heard her clearing her throat & so he looked at her & said, "do u want to say something?" Geet nodded in yes with sweet smile adorning her face which was a hint that she's no more angry. "Phew" thot Maan & gestured her to speak up. Geet dint know to ask so she said, "U love Muskan a lot, hai na?" she said looking at Muskan & then looked at him. Maan smiled a bit & nodded in yes & Geet cntd., "woh..how do u know her? I mean how u know she lives there & all?" Maan completely understood wot she want to ask, so said, "U want to know abt me & Muskan & her life na?" Geet nodded her head quickly 3-4 times in yes & Maan cntd., "Do u remeber the local train blasts that happned 2 yrs back? The NGO ppl had found Muskan near the blast spot. She was travelling with her parents in one of the local in which blast happened. Her parents died but they managed to save her before breathing last. The NGO ppl were helping out there it was then they found Muskan sitting near her mother's body. She was crying & trying to wake her mother unaware with the fact that she will never wake up. Workers were shocked to see her alive with not a single scratch on her body coz there were no survivers around her. They picked her up from there & took her with them. A few days later I happened to visit Foundation for some reason. I was in office when I felt a tug on my trousers. I looked down & saw Muskan smiling at me & urging to pick her up & I instantly did that. The office staff told me everything abt her & said she's a destiny's child! They told that she does not go to any1, & were shocked to see her bonding with me. Even I felt some unknown pull towards her. Since then I go there regularly to meet her. She's become a part of my life. I wanted to adopt her right then but due to NGO's policy I cudn't. Though I cud have got her custody but that wud have drawn unwanted media attraction & that was the last thing I wanted for Muskan. Her innocence, freedom & security are my top most priority & so I dint do anything then. But now i am thinking to adopt her ASAP as the I don't want her to feel she has no1 as her family."
By the time Maan concluded he was a bit sad as he recalled everything that happened to such an innocent kid. Wot has she done to deserve this was all Maan cud think. Geet's condition was worse. She had tears in her eyes listening to the heart wrenching story of Muskan. She cudn't believe that such a lovely child had gone thru so much at this tender age. She knows wot a family means to a kid as she had seen Raj when he had lost his parents it was very tuff for him to cope up with that mishappening but since Geet's family was there for him he was able to deal wid circumstances. But this cute little angel has no1 around. She looked at Maan & her heart filled with respect & admiration the man in front of her. He had been there with Muskan ever since that mishappening. Maybe Babaji had sent him to take care of her.
Maan was lost in his thoughts but the chain was broken when heard some1's sobbings & his instinct said it was Geet. He immediately turned towards her & found her sobbing. He got worried seeing her in tears.
He moved closer to her & shook her gently & asked, "Geet, kya hua? Tum ro kyu rahi ho? Sab thik hai na?" Geet looked at him wid tearful eyes & said, "woh..sob.., Muskan..sob.." she cudn't complete & started crying again. For some reason Maan felt pain in his heart when he saw Geet crying & when she tried to tell him wot was bothering her & said Muskan, he knew she has got emotional. He cudn't control himself & side hugged her to calm her down. Geet clinged to him & kept on shedding tears. Maan gently rubbed his palm on her side arm as a gesture & tried to calm her down but she dint seem to stop.
Sighing Maan spoke, "Geet, listen calm down. Its okay! plz stop crying." But Geet wasn't able to control herself, she spoke b/w her sobs, "why did this happen to her? Why...sob..she?" Maan dint know wot to say but he had to calm her down so said, "shh.. Geet. Its nothing we can do abt. Its destiny's play. And Muskan is indeed a destiny's child that's she has got U, me & all ppl around her who love her very much. She lost her parents but she got all of us." Geet calmed a bit & said b/w her hiccups, "I know wot it feels to lose ur family. Raj had lost his parents when he was a kid. I have seen him craving for his parents, Maan! But he had us around. But Muskan, whom she has Maan?" Maan listened as Geet pourned her turmoil & knew why she got so emtional. She had recalled Raj's childhood & is afraid for Muskan. Maan cudn't believe that in a matter of few hours Geet had developed so strong bond for Muskan. He brought her out of the hug, wiped her tears with his fingers & asked her not to cry anymore.
He then looked towards Muskan & said, "Geet agar Muskan ne tumhe aise rote hue dekha to meri khair nahi hai. Usse toh yahi lagega na maine tumhe daanta. Tum yeh chahti ho ki woh mujhe daante, huh?" A small smile crept upon her lips & she nodded a no. Maan again said, "Good! Aur tum Muskan ki fikr mat karo Geet. Woh akeli nahi hai. Uske pass main hoon, tum ho, hai na! Hum dono ke hote hue woh akeli kaise ho sakti hai. Hum hamesha uske sath rahenge, hai na?" Maan himself dint know wot got into him at that moment of time & he blurted all that. But when Geet nodded in affirmation to his words he was surprised why she has agreed to all wot he has blurted absent mindedly, maybe coz she was just thinking from her heart. He looked at Geet & Geet was already looking at him, both smiled to each other & looked towards Muskan, their Muskan!

The next update is going to be more interesting but I will update when the no. of like for part 12 reaches at least 50 out of 90 ppl whom I had sent PM & want a little more comments too maybe after Page 36-37.😃 As I said before too I am greedy but I hope I am not asking more & I know U will do this for me.😉
