Part 5:

Sid chuckled, then yawned at Simi's antics, and led her upstairs. Alisha, accompanied by Sid, followed them. The three people left in the kitchen looked at each other uncertainly.. Arnav reached a hand towards Khushi, but she left in a hurry. Arnav then turned his unadultered rage towards Shyam, who, remarkably enough, didn't cower. He started, then stopped when a hysterical Anjali ran into the kitchen. "Yeh- yeh kya ho gaya aapko?!? Aap ke chehre peh tel! Kaise?" she demanded. "Woh ranisahiba.. Kuch nahin. Humne dekha nahin ta ki tel garam tha.." he trailed off, and Anjali led him away, her bountiful tears streaming down her face. When they left, Arnav banged his hand onto the counter. "Dammit!" I really misjudged Khushi! If Shyam can lust over Alisha, after knowing her for barely an hour, and claim to be madly in love with Khushi... Shit! He stormed off, into the room where Khushi slept on the chaise.

"Simi. Sid. Can we come in?" Akshay enquired politely. "Of course, Jeej! Come in!" Simi answered cheerfully, all traces of sleep gone from her face, and a hectic red blush creeping up on her cheeks. "We weren't interrupting, were we?" Abhishek asked slyly. "No!" Simi answered, her cheeks darkening. Sid sat back down on the bed, and Alisha, Akshay, and Abhishek sat on the sofa in front of them. "Don't you guys think that there is something wrong between Arnav and Bhabhi?" Alisha asked. "Well, I know what!" she answered to everyone's hesitant nods. "I think Arnav thinks Shyam and Bhabi have something going on. And it is our duty as nosy Sis-in-Laws to make their relationship better again. Here's the plan..." The moonlight shown on the five people in the Raizada guest room, and they all grinned madly. "Let Project Joy-way begin!" Everyone shook their head, but grinned ruefully at Simi's corny 'title'. The game was on...
