Chapter 5: ASR vs. KASR

Without thinking I leaned in and kissed her...

I sucked on her lower lip and trying to gain an entry into her mouth. I felt her struggle of self control. She wanted this just as much as I did and I knew it. When my hands started roaming around her beautiful body she suddenly gasped and broke away. I looked into her eyes, still not yet fully recovered from the sweet taste of her lips. She looked more confused rather than angry, an expression she was trying to fake but was failing miserably.

I pulled her close by the waist. "Why do you try so hard, admit it, that was the best kiss you have ever gotten." She blushed, "And, if you are done playing Tom-and-Jerry with me and finally wish to admit that you love me, you will receive better." I smirked. You've won enough games Khushi, now it's my turn. I saw her blush deep crimson red. She immediately noticed and changed her expressions to EVEN angrier face. She pushed me away.

"I thought you said you wouldn't DARE touch me again Mr. Raizada? What happened huh? Am I some doll that you come to, play with her for a while and then put her back until you need her again! Well I'll have you know I am a respectable personality and YOU don't have ANY right to touch me, DO YOU GET THAT!"

"Khushi jaan, I think your forgetting that we are married." I whispered softly.

"What marriage? That 6-month-contract? The sacrifice of my life that you made without even telling me? The torture you gave me, the scorn, everything?" She noticed my hurt expression, "It feels bad doesn't it? When the one you love gives you the most pain. Well now you know how I felt like that day, a glass doll who broke, who's dreams were destroyed, who's pieces scattered all over, who's pieces you brutally stepped on further to ensure that they can never join again. The day you pushed me out to the poolside was the day you lost your right on me."

I watched in pain. "Khushi, I-I-I, I'm sorry. Please Khushi, I love you more than anything Khushi." I cupped her face. "No you don't, if you did than you would've never hurt me Arnav, you would've never doubted me, you don't love me." She said as she ran away from me.

I saw her sitting on a couch, all sad and heartbroken. Why do things have to be so hard? How can I show her that I truly love her? To show her that I really am sorry? Was she saying the truth? Does she really not love me? My heart sank with even the thought of that being even a possibility.

I walked over and sat next to her. "Sorry." I said once again. She looked away wiping the tears that fell from her eyes. I knew this whole topic was very close to her heart and it probably hurt her very much whenever discussing it.

"Juice anyone?" Said a waiter walking by.

"No thank-you." I jumped in speaking for both of us AND THAT was where EVERYTHING started.

"I can answer for myself Mr. Raizada." She said turning towards the waiter. "I'll have one thank you."

I could tell she was going to say no but said yes just to annoy me. I got up and walked away. Fine if she doesn't want to listen to me, I'm going to leave her alone for a few. I met with Chirag, an old college buddy.

"Hey, what's up dude? College ke baad to ekdum gayab hi ho gaye the!" Said Chirag punching Arnav slightly.

"Long story, anyways, I still can't believe YOU threw this party. I mean it's so normal and quite, I MUST be dreaming." I joked half-heartedly. My brain was still thinking about Khushi.

"Well, you know how I am right, can't go around without doing at least ONE thing wrong."

"What did you do now?"

"Well, you know the orange drinks." Suddenly Khushi's image popped up into my mind.

"Yes." I asked in a low voice.

"Well I mixed in some shots in the drinks."

"YOU DID WHAT?" I demanded. I didn't have time for this, I ran back to where Khushi was sitting.

She wasn't there but 4 glasses of "juice" were, and that too fully empty.

SHIT!!! I told her not to drink it!! I told her!!! But her and her stubbornness, if I said up she'd she down, if I said hot she'd say cold, if I'd say NO she'd say YES!! Uggh!! Ab kaha dhoondo is chalti phirti musibat ko?

I walked around inquiring about her but with no luck. I walked outside and into the parking lot and saw her talking to the watchman.

"You know, woh Arnav Singh Raizada hai na, woh ek Raaksshhaashhh hai!!" She said stumbling with each step.

"Bohot hi akdu, sadu, aur pakau insaan hai!" She whispered. The watchman looked at her in confusion.

"Lekin usse batana nahi teek hai. Shhh..." She said with her finger on her mouth laughing with the "Shhh".

I shook my head, she is fully talli. I walked over and grabbed Khushi.

"Arre, laad governer. What are you doing here? Are you here to do it again? Wasn't one time enough for you? (she is referring to the kiss) " She said stumbling into my arms. "Last time you were trying to shove it down my throat a bit too hard, this time just do it normally."

Shut Up Khushi!! I felt like saying.

I felt like saying as the watchman was listening to our conversation.

I opened my mouth to say something to him when he looked away and said, "Lage raho."

What? I didn't get what he was talking about. Then I ran what Khushi said over my mind again. Wait was he thinking that she was talking about...no no no no! Oh shit!

"No no no no NO!, it's nothing like THAT." I tried to explain myself but with no use.

I looked at Khushi in annoyance. "Ab chale?" I asked a bit annoyed, what was the need to embarrass me like that in front of A WATCHMAN!! Really??

We were walking to my car and I was practically dragging a stumbling Khushi along with me. She was singing random, stupid, silly songs.

I went back to my own thoughts, going back to what she said. Was she implying the fact that she wanted me to kiss her again by giving me specific directions? I smirked, maybe having a drunk Khushi wasn't so bad after all. Like they say, In Vino Veritas! A man drunk never lies, well in this case woman. Maybe today was the day I would get honest answers from Khushi. I looked to my side to see that she wasn't there.

"Oh God!" I looked around to hear,

"Oye, idiot! I'm up here." I tracked down the source of the voice. She was on top of a car, she was on top of MY car!!

"Khushi, get down from there right this instant." I yelled. This was fun I smirked inwardly.

"No! Make me!"

Ok, she asked for it!

I climbed up and without any notice picked her up and climbed down. "Chodo mujhe! Main kehti hu chodo mujhe!!!: She yelled.

"Khushi, chillana band karo."

"Teek hai." She quieted herself like a small child. I stared at her in awe and this time she was staring right back, her gaze penetrating my soul.

"Are you going to just stare me?" She asked.

"Arnav kiss me."

I looked at her red plump lips. It took everything I was made of to resist the urge to devour her lips.

"Khushi, please mujhe chodo." I said looking into her eyes, slowly removing her hands from around my neck.

I closed the door and sat down into my seat. I started driving and listen to her sing. Right now she was on "Udi" from Guzaarish.

She spread her hands out, "Udi! Neende akhonse udi! Raate Khwabo se mudi! Na jane main kaha-ah-ah-ah! Udi...!"

It was fun to watch her like that, I smiled.

We got home, "Khushi, hum aa gaye. Utro ab."

She took of her seatbelt and climber down clumsily while laughing. It was very fun to watch her so animated.

"Oops, hehehe." She laughed. I laughed seeing her like that, "Come on Khushi." I pulled her.

"Zara sa jhoom loon main?" She yelled out.

"Shh!! Khushi, you're going to awaken everyone."

"No, not until you sing the song with me!!!"

I smiled nervously, "Dekho Khushi, you're drunk, you don't know what you're saying. Please, everyone is going to wake up!"

"Nope!" She stumbling on me yet again.

"Fine,"

"Here we go again! Zara sa jhoom loon main?" She sang twirling around and stumbling upon the gate. Oh god!

"Arre na re na re na."

"Zara sa ghoom loon main?"

"Arre na re na re na."

"Aa tujhe choomloon main?" She held onto my face.

I pondered over this a bit.

"Oye, it wasn't a question!"

I rolled my eyes, "Arre na re baba na!"

"Main challeein!! Banke hawaaa!!!" She sang running into the house.

Oh god Khushi! Shut up!! I ran after her.

"Rabba mere!!! Menu bachaaa!!"

"Zara sa jhoom loon main?" She kept singing loudly as she entered. I quickly carried her and took her to the nearest room which was mine.

"Khushi sit down please. And try to stay quiet, I'll be right back." I said walking into the bathroom.

I washed my face and changed my clothes into a comfortable sweater and trousers. I walked out and received the shock of my life.

"Khushi??"

"Shhh!!!" She said walking up to me and shushing me with her finger. She was wearing my shirt with nothing on the bottom. It served as a really short dress for her. She looked so cute.

"Aaj main bolungi aur aap sunege. Woh kya kar rahethe aap, oh ha woh aap bade seexyyy lagrahe hai." (K3G)

My eyes were wide in shock. "Khushi..? Tum??

Before I could continue, she leaned in closer leaving only centimeters of distance between us. Our noses colliding, I could feel her breath on my face as I'm sure she could feel mine. "Arnav, I really love you make me yours forever." She said leaning in even closer, her hands now on my face.

That was it, I couldn't take it anymore. She wanted me and I wanted her. She loved me and I loved her, then why this distance. I cupped my face with my hands. Bringing her body closer to mine. Closer, and closer until I closed the distance between us with a cold kiss that awoke desires that we both had kept hidden for so long. We continued kissing until we stumbled upon the bed.
