Arnav looked at Khushi's terrified look on hearing the bitter truth of her existence. He knew he wanted to hold on to her and pacify her. He wanted to know if she was ok. But in a minute he snapped back and told himself "she deserves this, she should know how it feels to lose family". With that he walked towards akash and hugged him slightly saying "Congratulation on your wedding". Akash not knowing what to say, gave a half smile by hugging him back, "same to you bhai". Then he moved towards Shyam and with slight smirk asked him "what happened jijaji won't you congratulate khushi and me?" Shyam shot back a furious look. Mami got up from the sofa and made it clear that she has had enough drama for today with two phati sari and khoon bhaari tang so she was going to go sleep now.

Khushi who was still rooted on the ground felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around to see nani looking at her sympathetically. Nani was still not convinced, "I don't know under what circumstances you both have married but I'm glad I got two bahus in one night" saying that she smiled. Khushi gave back a teary smile. Arnav couldn't take this drama anymore. He looked at his sister and with a concerned tone, "Di why are you still roaming around like this, you should be resting in this state. Marriage is over now so I don't want you to take any more stress ok?" Anjaji just nodded and was about to say something when arnav interrupted her by saying "Di please no more questions I'm already tired, I am going to go rest in my room" with that he left. Shyam who came back to senses followed him. Khushi looked at arnav going up leaving her all alone in the middle of his gathered family to face this problem alone.

Nani held Khushi's shoulder to lead her into the house when Anjali stopped them "wait!". Then they saw hariprakash come in with another rice kalash for khushi. Anjali looked at khushi and said "I couldn't see your wedding at least let me do this". Khushi felt a feeling of guilt running through her body. As Payal came and stood beside Khushi, Khushi tried to look at her sister but she got no response. She wanted her jiji to look at her, to see the pain in her eyes.

Shyam entered Arnav's room with a fume and screamed at him "Arnav!! What did you do? Are you mad?" Arnav placed the flower garland calmly on his table and took his coat off lazily. Shyam being pissed at this, turned him around and held his collar and asked him "how could you? How could you do this to me and khushiji?" Arnav pushed him back and maintained his calm by replying "relax jiju, don't ruin my ironed shirt!" Shyam furiously yelled "Shut up arnav". Arnav then kept his one hand on Shyam's shoulder and said "well well looks like your khushi kumari gupta is after all a girl who would chose the guy with high bank balance". Shyam flinched his hand and replied "Khushiji would never do that, I'm sure you did something" Anrav smirked and replied "Is that so? Why don't you ask her then?" Shyam being frustrated and not getting any answers started to walk off. Arnav opened his sliding cupboard to get some clothes when he heard shyam's evil laugh. "Sale sahabb you forgot one thing, she only loves me. So no matter how much you force her to be yours she will be mine. Physically she will be here with you but her heart and mind will be with me" and walked away. Arnav's heart burnt, he died a thousand deaths. "She will never be mine". He clenched his jaw and slided the cupboard door to shut with a massive noise. This time more with pain than anger.
