Hi friends…. Here's part 14.

Part 14

Shakti was very excited to go back to India…. She was at NY airport waiting for her flight to be announced…. She thought of all the good times she had here…. she would never ever regret coming here…. after all it had always been her dream to study in New York.

She had broken many hearts back home when she had left India…. She was aware she had disappointed all her fans who wanted her to stay and be their Kria Ghai…. But she was confident that when she would return, she would be welcomed with open arms….. her family, friends, fans loved her for who she was... a performer….. a star…. a true dedicated dancer!!…. And she was happy she was returning home making everyone proud.

Her flight was announced…. And she boarded the plane….. She was getting impatient already…. She wondered how she would survive the 14 hour journey.

Except for her immediate family, nobody was aware that she was coming back…. She had instructed them not to ruin her surprise for others... this made her remind her of the time when she was leaving for New York.

Flashback-

"SURPRISE"

Everybody screamed….. she stood at her door, with her mouth hanging…. shocked…. All she could see was balloons and flowers in front of her.

Shakti- Oh my God!!... what is this?? (laughs)

Her D3 gang came ahead and screamed again….

Everybody- Surprise Shaks!!

Shakti- wow guys!!... thank you so much…. Come in, come in.

She hugged everyone one by one as they entered.

Macci- so Shaks…. All set to raid the New York's boutiques?

Everybody laughed.

Shakti- teri toh Macci…. Ruk tu.

She ran to hit him but he went and hid behind Shakti's mom.

Macci- arre aunty bachao…. Sach bolne par aaj-kal yeh halat hoti hai…. no wonder iss desh ki Yuva bigad gayi hai.

Shakti rolled her eyes and laughed.

Samantha- Shakti, now don't you dare get him anything from there.

Shakti- ya…. Nothing for you Macci.

He made a sad puppy face and everybody laughed.

Sneha- ok seriously Shaks…. All set to make a move?

She looked at all her bags lying in the hall.

Shakti- (nervously) I hope so.

Mukti- yes she is all set…. Faltoo main nervous ho rahi hai…. aur tum log abhi time pe nahi aate toh main tum logon ka khoon kar leti.

Of course…. Shakti should have guessed ke yeh sab Mukti ne hi plan kiya hoga.

Mukti- Amar kahan hai?

That's when Shakti realized Amar was missing…. She looked at others with questioning eyes.

Mukti- (continuing) ussi ne yeh sab plan kiya, aur ab wahi gaayab hai?

Shakti was amazed…. Kunwar ne plan kiya yeh?... she smiled…. and the next instant she frowned…..but where is he?

Shantanu- haan woh actually cars ka arrangement dekhne gaya hai…. itne saare log hai…. 2 cars would not be enough so he's gone to arrange for one more.

Shakti was stunned…. they all plan to come to drop me at the Airport?…. They are really gonna make me cry….. she blinked back her tears and smiled.

Shakti's dad- arre iski kya zaroorat thi…. I would have taken my car.

Mukti- that's what I had told him, Papa…. Par apna hero said you should spend time with your daughter and not drive.

Everybody- awww

And started laughing.

Shakti excused herself and went to the washroom…. She splashed water on her face to conceal her tears…. I'm gonna miss him…. I'm gonna miss everybody so bad!!

Just as she came out, Neeti announced it was time to leave…. All the boys had already carried her luggage out…. She went and hugged her mom.

Shakti's mom- beta…. I'll miss you.

All the sisters came and hugged them…. She looked up for her dad….. he was standing a little away watching them with tears in his eyes…. she opened her arms gesturing him to come and join them…. He came forward and hugged them all…. Now it was the perfect Family group hug.

Alisha- hey why are we left out?

Shakti laughed with tears streaming down her face….. and she opened her arms for the girls to come and join them... they all had tears in their eyes.

The guys screamed from down….

Guys- chalo… late ho raha hai…. plane platform pe lag chukka hoga.

They all laughed…. the guys were so loud that Shakti was sure all her neighbors would be at their windows by now.

After breaking the group hug they all started to leave the house….. Shakti looked around the house one last time…. Wiped her tears…. Prayed silently (khuch acha kaam karne se pehele wala prayer) and closed the door behind her.

When she got off the elevator…. She looked around for Amar…. She couldn't see him….. Kahan hai yeh ladka?!!

Shakti- (to Mukti) kya hua?... Ab tak 3^rd car nahi aayi hai?

Mukti- no, I guess it's come.

Shakti- (irritated) so where is he?

Mukti- (laughs) mujhe kya pata…. Main bhi tumhare saath hi neeche aayi hun.

Shakti- ya ok fine.

She looked around for him again…. that's when she saw him…. he was loading two of her bags together in the boot space of the car….. he looked so cute with his hair falling on his forehead, irritating his eyes and he trying to brush it off with the back of his hand while trying to balance the bags in both his hands.

She shook her head and smiled…. Mr. Macho…. Sab isko hi karna hai.

She walked up to him.

Shakti- Oye

Amar looked up and grinned.

Amar- hi mawali

She laughed…. came forward and brushed his hair back from his forehead…. They looked in each other's eyes frozen in the moment.

She blinked…. Cleared her throat.

Shakti- need help with that? (pointing at the bags)

Amar- no…. you shouldn't... It's too heavy…. I'm cool (smile)

Shakti- ya so of course what did you think?... I wasn't volunteering to help…. I would have called one of the boys (laughs)

Amar- (roll eyes) haha…. Joke mara, Shaks?

Shakti giggled and punched his stomach.

Amar- ouuhh!!…. Abla mard pe atyachaar!!

She laughed harder.

Shakti- Abla Mard??!!... duh!!

Amar- by the way…. Lagta hai tum poora sansaar wahan le jaa rahi ho…. Itne bhaari bags hai na tumhare... kahin humesha chodke jaane ka irada toh nahi hai na?

She laughed but when she saw the sad look in his eyes, she got frowned…. Was he serious?... Usko aise lagta hai main wapas nahi aayungi?

Shakti- (sad smile) agar aise hua, toh tum mujhe wahan lene aa jaana, ok?

Amar- (laugh) fir mere wapas aane ki koi guarantee nahi rahegi. (wink)

She rolled her eyes and laughed…. they both held their gaze, trying to gulp back the tears.

Shakti's dad- (to Shakti) chalo beta….. sab saaman lag chukka hai…. let's go…. We are getting late.

Shakti blinked away her eye contact with him and looked down.

Shakti- ji Papa

Shakti's dad, her mom, Shakti and Neeti got in one car, while Mukti and Kirti decided to come with the D3 gang…. Amar was driving with Shakti…. He dint want to miss any chance to be around her…. He adjusted the rear view mirror accordingly, so he would get her view.

All of them were quiet throughout the drive…. Amar kept stealing glances at her from time to time…. Her eyes were swollen…. He knew she had cried….. she looked anxious…. He wished he could hold her hand to reassure her…. Give her all the strength she required.

She caught him once looking at her…. She raised her eyebrows, gesturing to ask, what was wrong…. For which he mutely just shook his head and smiled…. And she smiled back.

They reached the airport right on time…. They heard the first announcement of her flight as soon as they loaded all her luggage on the luggage cart.

It was time for her to leave…. She quickly hugged everyone…. Her mom and sisters had tears in their eyes…. but she decided she would cry no more and smiled at them…. She wanted to leave on a happy note.

Shakti looked back once at everyone before she entered the Airport gates…. Smiled…. and waved out to them.

Her last glimpse was at Amar who had a big grin on his face and waving out to her but she dint miss the water in his eyes…. She quickly turned around…. Shut her eyes to hold back her tears and walked away.

Present-

The captain announced that they were landing in Mumbai in 5 min…. she sat up straight excitedly…. She inhaled…. The air smelled so familiar….. so refreshing…. And she smiled…. How badly she wanted to scream…. YAY!!!... Home finally!!

PS- oops…. I'm so mean na?... I'm really testing your patients na?😆…. sorry ya guys, but I have to make the story long…. warna wat mazza?😉... i dont want to end this ff so soon.😊

How do you wirte so well? How is it that literally every update leaves this huge grin on my face! So I guess its obvious that I loved it as usual! Cannot wait for the next part after having read this one!! Update super soon tish! Thanks for the PM
