Yaar Main is page ko bharne ki koshish mein hoon ( by spamming of course) lekin abhi tak yehi atka pada hai. How come other pages in other ffs fill up with in three four short posts 😔 May be something technical ❓ Anyways though it is very rsky for a newbie to spam threads, but kya kre control nahi hota.

Geet came out to the garden in dire need of air. Inside it seemed liked she was unable to breathe. How will she spend her coming days here was the question nagging through her brain but the air was good, there were flowers which were once colourful n a sun which was once enlightening. She sat on the wooden bench suddenly bushed not physically but mentally.

Daddy it's cold.

Maan dipped his hand in water. No princess it's perfect.

I don't tink so. Jia shook her index finger.

You want to die burning. This time Jia shook her head. Then it's good. Now come on.

She made a face while Maan picked her in his arms n put her in tub. He washed her hair with her favourite shampoo that smelled of strawberry n then her body with a soap that looked a teddy face.

Yey... Me done. Jia clapped her hands after he picked her out of the tub.

Haan... It was not that bad. Was it?

Uh huh... She shook her head. But it would be next time. Maan rolled his eyes.

He draped the towel around her after dabbing her dry n took her to the room. He grabbed her vest n bloomer n then a blue frock from the cupboard. No daddy, pink one. Putting the blue one back, Maan brought the pink one out. He pulled the bloomer up her legs, the vest down her torso n then did same with the frock while she raised her hands up to help him. He brought the fancy pink flip flops that matched her frock n slipped them on her foot then combed her hairs, neatly placing two butterfly clips on the left side.

How Jia look? She twirled in front of him.

Prettier than Snow White.

She has little hair, I have lond na... She reasoned, sulking on her upper lip.

Maan smiled. Yeah right.

Now you take me to acu acu...

Aquarium. He corrected.

Acu acu. Yepii... She jumped in his arms n he carried her out to the car.

Geet watched them; Maan brought the little girl out securely wrapped in his arms. He didn't saw Geet but when he was opening the passenger door Jia's eyes caught her sitting on the bench in garden. She waved to her n in return Geet managed a faint smile. Maan made Jia sit on the seat, pulled the seat belt over her little form then while going to the other side he also saw Geet. She diverted her gaze n he ignored her.

Engines started then the car zoomed out n strangely she found even the open space tight.

Maan n Jia returned at 9 pm. They 1^st had gone to a movie, after that they went to aquarium which was Jia's favourite; the fishes in different shapes n colours always fascinated her. When she got tired of the fishes (for the time being), they went to a park where she played with other kids n meanwhile Maan checked his mails. Mac D was their next stop. One more thing that Jia was fond of was brownlate (chocolate) so in the end Maan grabbed a chocolate ice cream for her.

When the car pulled back into KM. Geet was still there on the bench, huddled together in corner, asleep. Maan squinted his eyes, wondering what she was still doing there in cold, was she here the whole day. Then thought maybe she had came letter in evening again, anyways not his problem even if she freezes in cold, in fact he would be thankful. Adjusting partially asleep Jia in his arms he went inside.

Geet Didi... Geet opened her eyes.

Ji...

Aap yahan kya kar rai hai?? Nakul asked.

Wo kuch nai... time kya hua hai?

10 baj gaye hai. Nakul told eyeing her weirdly.

Oh... She didn't realised when the day turned into night. Aapko koi

kaam tha?

Nai wo Dadimaa was asking if you had dinner so I came here to call you for that only.

Baki sabne kha liya?

Maan Sir n Jia baby bahar se kha kar aaye hai. Annie Didi abhi aayi nai hai n Dadimaa abhi aayi hai, unhone apne kamre me kha liya.

Hmm...

Aap bhi chal k kha lijiye. Nakul suggested.

Umm mujhe bhuk nai hai.

Par aapne breakfast k baad se kuch nai khaya hai.

Aap chaliye mai thodi deer baad kha lungi.

Ji... Nakul decided not to push more n left.

After Nakul left her thoughts wandered to where she should go now. She was practically homeless in this big mansion but for now she had a job to do. She wouldn't dare to enter Maan's room so she had kept the jewellery set in Jia's room.

The lights were off n Jia was peacefully sleeping on the bed. Geet quietly picked the set n closed the door.

She hesitantly knocked on already opened door. Aaiye bete. Geet came in suddenly very conscious. Baithiye. She sat on bed, stiff n uncertain.

Wo Dadimaa I wanted to return this to you. Geet forwarded the red box.

Arre aap yeh humme kyu de rai hai. Dadimaa said amazed. It's for you.

I can't take this. She said voice meek yet determined.

Aap yeh Maan ke wajah se keh rai hai na. Geet looked up, so

Dadimaa knew that everything was not well. Dadimaa kept her hand on Geet's. If circumstances are difficult now it doesn't mean that they will always remain the same. Badlaaw jiwan ka niyam hota hai. Today is dark but tomorrow is bright. That's my promise to you.

Geet was laughing inwardly, at herself. Hope n all were not meant for her. She had given up on these feelings way back n she couldn't explain how satisfied she was from then on, she didn't had any expectations n life never disappointed her, it remained dull n brutal. But she had no complains because she had no expectations now, and the life was simple.

May be future is bright but the problem is with me. I have lost the ability to see. Geet kept the box on bed. I will take this when everything will be good. She knew it would never. Her hope was shattered but something inside her asked to keep the old woman's intact. At least she deserved a word of lie.

Geet walked out n after almost 10 minutes Maan barged in making Dadimaa smile at their timing.

Dadimaa aap yeh thik nai kar rai hai. He shouted angryily.

Hum kya thik nai kar rahe hai? Dadimaa asked in a bored tone.

Yeh jo aap gehne luta rai hai uss ladki pe. You...

'Uss ladki' nai, aapki patni hai wo.

I don't care. She is a termite. Maan lowered his voice sitting on the

bed. Slowly she will eat it all, hollow n we wouldn't even realize when the roof collapsed.

You are talking about your friend like this.

You know. Maan asked with shock.

Of course I know. Pammi was my friend if you are forgetting.

You lived in their colony n I know Geet studied with you.

Yes... n that's why I am warning you. That girl is not what she appears. She very well knows how make other dance on her tips.

Dadimaa raised her brows. Wo dekh rahe hai. She pointed towards the red box that Geet had left on the bed. That is the jewellery set that I gave to Geet today morning, she returned it to me. I don't think she is what you are making her look.

I have seen life more than you Maan. You are walking with a blind fold; remove that cloth n see around clearly. Dadimaa said wishing that Maan for once would listen to her.

this time whatever I am reading in ur updates have no meaning to me at all...

when we don't know the reason what happen between them that why Geet is behaving like this...why Maan hates her...Is Jia Maan's biological daughter...

is this suspense so worth to keep hidden that we can't even understand what is happening...
