OS: I am sorry (Part 2 added) - Page 6

I updated part 2 on my blog. But, some wanted an update on IF too. So, here it is 😊

Part 2

Arnav stopped infront of Khushi's house, millions of thoughts racing through his mind. He was happy that he was going to become a father, and Khushi, a mother. But, what if Khushi isn't happy? What if she's really angry after lastnight's childish fight.

He knocked on the door of the Gupta's. When the door wasn't opened after a while, he pushed open the door walking in, his footsteps following the similiar path to Khushi's room. Arnav walked in, his eyes searching for Khushi.

Khushi was getting something from the top of the wardrobe. She was standing on top of a stool, which wouldn't hold her weight for more than a few seconds. Arnav opened his mouth to warn Khushi, but before that the stool she was standing gave away, taking down Khushi with it. Khushi squeezed her eyes shut, waiting to hit the cold stoned floor. But before that, a pair of strong familiar arms caught her, breaking her fall.

Khushi opened her eyes to meet with that of Arnav's eyes. She sighed in satisfaction, as the voice in her head screamed. Arnav put her down on the floor carefully, glaring at her.

'KHUSHI! What is wrong with you? Are you mad? I've lost count of the number of times I have told you to be careful' Arnav shouted loudly.

Khushi flinched back, surprised at Arnav's tone of conversation. He hadn't been that angry in days, the last time when he found out that Shyam had ruined the lives of both woman he considered his life.

'ARNAV! Stop screaming. You are standing in my house, and you are screaming at me! WOW, only the mighty Arnav Singh Raizada can do that' Khushi said turning away in disgust.

Suddenly, Khushi's eyes caught on the reports that were scattered on the floor. She walked over to them, bending down and picking up them.

Tears formed in Khushi's eyes as the words 'Pregnacy: POSITIVE' flashed across her eyes. She wiped away her tears from the backside of her hand, yet they flowed over.

'Baby, why are you crying? Are you not happy' Arnav asked cupping her face, tint of hurt visible in his eyes. Khushi kept on crying profusely, inhaling air inbetween. Arnav patiently stroked her back, as Khushi soaked Arnav's shirt. Khushi pulled away after a while, mumbling a sorry.

'I am so happy Arnav. It's our's. Your's and mine' Khushi said nodding as she rested her hand on her belly. 'Are you happy Arnav?' she asked.

'Hmmm' Arnav replied briefly hugging Khushi.
