The Incomplete Love Story

Angad stood there in disbelief.

K- We're married!!!!
A-???
Kripa was still a little drunk. Kripa grabbed Angad by his tie and got him close to her. They were really close and Kripa said:
K-whispering- Angad, I love you.
A--------------------------------
Kripa had tears coming out of her eyes, but she wasn't sobbing.
K-whispering- Do you love me too?
A----------------------------------------
K- I love you, I really love.....
Kripa fell unconscious on Angad's chest. Angad picked her up in his arms and carried her back to the car. He wasn't able to digest the news he received. He tried to start the car and this time it worked.
While he was driving the words kept ringing in his ears that they were still married.

They reached home and Angad just sat in the car staring at Kripa. How much he wished he could say I love you back to her. He knew he still loved her, maybe even more then when he left her, but he was still angry at her for betraying him. After a while he finally got out of the car and took Kripa in his house. He tucked her in and without realizing it he kissed her lipa, but this time the kiss felt just right. It didn't feel like it was wrong, maybe it was knowing that they were married, knowing that she was "his" wife and he was "her" husband. He unknowingly smiled and got up and left into his own room.

The next morning Kripa woke up, but her head was killing her. It felt like someone was banging it into a wall. She couldn't remember anything that happened last night after the car stopped working. She held her head, hoping it would make the pain less.
Kripa heard a knock on the door and yelled- Come in!
It was Angad. Angad saw her holding her head and said- A-It's probably a hangover.
K- What?
A- Yeah, remember you got drunk last night and....
K cut in- What? I got drunk?
A- Yeah I guess they might have mixed your drink up with another at the club.
K- Oh...........
Kripa leaned over and took out an Advil out of the drawer. She swallowed it with some water which was sitting on the drawer( I dont know where the water came from, so lets just go along with it, lol).

K- Is Aryan back yet?
A- He'll be back soon

Angad's cell phone started ringing and he picked it up, you can't hear the other side.
A- Hello
A- What?
A- Okay....yeah we'll be there.
A- No problem
A- Bye
He hung up the phone and looked at Kripa who was still sitting up in her bed.

A- Thy just proponed Aryan's basketball game, its today instead of Friday.
K-...........oh, okay.
RING RING RING
Kripa looked over and picked up her phone.
K- Hello
Prithvi- Hey Kripa, Whats up?
K- Oh hi! I'm good. Im sorry I didn't call back, I didn't find any time
P- That's okay.
K- So is everything fine with the company?
P- Yeah, so far its good. I have everything under control.
K- Thanks once again Prithvi

Angad's blood was boiling. He tried to calm down. He didn't know why every time he heard Prithvi's name he coudln't control himself. Why couldn't he just get over it? He wish he could, he wish he could forget about everything and move on, but he couldn't. It still ate him up inside when Kripa talked to Prithvi.

P- So when are you coming back?
K- Well Aryan's basketball game got preponed for today, So I guess I'll leave tonight.
P- Cool, well c u and Aryan tomorrow night then
K- Yeah, bye, take care.
Kripa put the phone down.

A- So your leaving tonight?
Kripa wished Angad would stop her from leaving. She loved him, and she couldnt hold back her love any longer. There was nothing more she wanted then to be with Angad.
K- ......Yeah I figured might as well, there would be no reason for staying any longer, or would there?
A- .......I dont think so......

Angad didn't want Kripa to leave. He wished she would stay longer, in fact he wished she would stay forever.

They both got ready and came downstairs. The maid had made breakfast for both of them.
At the breakfast table:

A- So is there anything you want to tell me?
K- ???- No, I dont think so.
A- Well think harder! Maybe theres a secret you've been keeping from me.
K- Not that I know of
A- Well this secret has been kept from me since the last 7 years
Kripa was getting annoyed she wanted to know what he was talking about.
K- Angad, just tell me what your talking about, because this conversation is going no where at the moment!
A- fine! I'll tell you! We're still married aren't we?

Kripa had just took a drink of juice. Once she heard that she spit it out.

K- What did you say!
A- We're married, we're still married!
K-nervous- No......not...at.....not at all.
A- Really? Because thats not what you said yesterday!
K- What did I say?
A- yelling-Well yesterday you told me we were still married, that you never did submit the divorce papers!
K------------------------
A-calm- Why?
K- I'm sorry.
Angad repeated his question- Why?
K- I should have told you, I'm really sorry
Angad yelled this time- WHY!!!
K-fastly- I always thought you would come back, I thought one day or another you would believe me and return home,..................but you never came back. As the years went by everyday I went to court. I would just stop in front of it, I never had the courage to submit those papers. I always thought our love would win......but it never did. I guess I didn't realize that everything we had between us......was actually nothing at all. But still everyday In court I saw people submitting divorce papers, they all seemed as if they had nothing to lose by submitting them, but we.............we had everything to lose. I'm sorry. I know I was selfish. But what would you do? I never had the strength to.........I always thought you would come back.
A------------------------
K- I'm sorry. I had no right to do that.
A---------------------------------------
K- But I promise, as soon as I go back......I'll submit them.
SILENCE
A- ............................Do you still love me?
K- I never stopped.
