Angad Khaana- He is a professional basketball player at the age of 27. He has a son named Aryan. He's married to Kripa Khaana. He lives seperate from Kripa after the divorce. He never wanted to see her again and nor did she him. He took custody of Aryan for the school year and in the summers Kripa would have him.

Aryan Khaana- Angad and Kripa's 7 year old son. He loves both of his parents. He wishes they could unite, but knows it can't happen. He lives in America with his dad in the school year and goes to India for the summers. His parents only meet eachother when Kripa goes to America to pick up Aryan for the summers or Angad goes to India to drop him off.

Kripa Sharma at the age of 26 had set up an entire empire. She is one of the richest woman in India. Now her empire was even going worldwide. She lives with her dad Raj Sharma. She loves him to death. She still loves Angad after all these years.

Prithvi Bose- He is one of the most successful lawyer in India. He is a lawyer for Kripa's company too. He knew Kripa since they were kids. They were always best friends. He was with her in her ups and downs in life. He thinks of Kripa nothing more than a great friend. He is divorced after the love of his life Priya left him.

Kripa was sitting in her big office building. She had so much work to do she felt as if she didnt have time to breathe. Papers and files were everywhere. Her work was disturbed with a knock on the door.
K-Come in
A tall gentlemen stepped into the room. He was wearing a business suit. It was no other than Prithvi Bose, Kripa's best friend whom she had known since childhood. Every time she saw him, a smile spread across her face.

P-Good Afternoon Kripa
K-Hi Prithvi, whats up?
P-Well I was just looking over some contracts and legal documents and stuff, I got bored so I came to see you.
K-Kewl
P- Kripa lets go out for dinner tonight.
K- Please, I have too much to do tonight, how about another day.
P- Plz, I hate eating by myself.
Kripa felt bad for Prithvi.
K-Prithvi I'm really sorry.
P- It's okay Kripa, I understand.
K-No Prithvi, I'm sorry about you being alone. I wish Priya didnt leave you. I hate her for not trusting you and it's all Angad's fault your alone today.
P- Kripa, forget all that, at least we have eachother right?
K- Yes, and lets go out tonight.
P- I thought you were busy.
K- I was?
They both laughed.

Dinner at a hotel:

As Kripa and Prithvi were eating they were talking.
P-So hows your dad doing?
K-Fine, In fact he's always the best this time of yeat.
P-Why this time of year....Oh wait I know, Summers here meaning...
Kripa cut in-Yes!!! Aryans coming!!!
P- Awesome I love that little guy! Isnt he 7 now?
K-Yep!
P-So when are you going to go get him?
K-Well, I think I'm going to New York next week.
P-Cool
K-And like every year, I need u to look after the business.
P- Sure.

After the nice dinner Prithvi dropped Kripa at home. Kripa went inside her house. She spotted her dad, Raj, on the couch watching tv.
K-Hey dad, How are you?
Raj-I'm fine honey, how are you?
K-Superb!
R-And I know why, your going to go get Aryan in a couple of days.
K-Yes dad. Then you can play with your grandson as long as youd like!
R- I cant wait.
K-Well dad, did you eat yet?
R-Yes, the maid made me my dinner.
K-Good, now you should go to sleep dad, you need to rest, I dont want anything to happen to your health.
R- Gosh, your just like your mother, always pestering me.
Raj always missed his wife after she died, but he knew he had the next best thing, his daughter Kripa, who resembled his wife so much.

That night Kripa decided to call Angad to inform him.
On the phone:
A-Hello
K- Hi Angad, It's me Kripa.
A- Oh...how are you?
K- I'm..umm...good, and you?
A- Yeah...I'm good too.
K- And hows Aryan?
A- He's great, he's sleeping right now.
K- Oh, okay. Well I just wanted to tell you I'm coming to New York to get Aryan on Friday.
A- Oh yeah I almost forgot, thx for remind me.
K- Your welcome.
A- So what time will your flight be coming?
K- 6 P.M
A-So I guess I'll pick you up at 6
K-No you dont have to, I can catch a cab.
A-Come on Kripa, dont be silly, I'll pick you up.
K- Well c u then. Bye
A-Bye

The whole week Kripa was busy. She had to finish all her office work before she left. Prithvi dropped her off at the airport.
K-Okay Prithvi, I'll be back in like 4 days. If u need anything just call, oh yeah Mr. Gopal is going to come for a deal so talk to him for me, and Mr. Oberoi has some type of special offer, if you think its good say yes, if not, then reject him, and...
P- Kripa, Kripa, Kripa I'll handle everything! Now leave before you miss your flight!

Kripa and Prithvi had a friendly hug and Kripa left for New York. Little did she know, the next couple of days would change her life completely.
