The heart and Love

Its had been now two days passed with the much needed help of Mayank she had been succeeded arranging money for Gunjan's exclusive demands.

"11.45 PM "she took deep breath raising her hand to pick up her cell

"Who is getting desperate at this time?"She muttered under her breath getting irritate of continuous ringing bells..

As he pulled into her driveway and got out of his car, he decided to tell her about his arrival and his lips curled into smile imaging her reaction at this news, finally after three bells she received the call and he took breath of relief, "I hope I did not disturb you" her heart thud at his soft like silky whisper voice and she quickly got up, "Umm..No'I mean absolutely No" she startled getting conscious at his unexpected call he usually called her before dinner as he knew how much she get tired due to office work so he never wished to disturb her . "Its mean I did disturb you" he chuckled playing with her and she backed off at his statement, " Mayank why you are getting formal ? I mean you're not stranger for me'"she was really getting out of words how to make him understand that he had right to disturb her but she knew she could not say that in straight way, "so I am close to you" she gulp of air at his silky soft whisper, saying those words deliberately he waited for her to say something he waited for long like always ,The seconds ticked by, one after another, and as the silence lengthened, he took deep sight without sound closing his eyes "you did not ask the reason. Why did I call you??"He broke the prevailed silence accepting his defeat and she replied almost in shaking whisper, "I forgot"

He shook his head smiling the way his words affecting her but she was still like a stubborn girl not accepting what was in her heart. "Look down through the window of your room; I am at your door"

Nupur almost jumped in shock and quickly sprang out of her bed.

"Mayank it was joke" she fluttered her widened eyes gasping air and he chuckled, "No.."he simply replied .she immediately stepped towards window and removing the curtains from the mirrors she peered out through the window, her breath caught in her throat as Mayank waved his hand towards her.

"Mayank what are you doing here at this time??"She searched her mind and could come up with these words only as she felt her all scenes had been get froze, Her skin prickled and heart had beaten thousands of time in just few seconds.

"It's the way to welcome your guest"

"umm..No..i mean I am coming" she stammered and slipped out the room into a small hall. She raced down the stairs and walked towards the door, taking deep breath she clicked the knob and he titled his head to gaze up at her, Even with his hands in his pockets, he was looking tall and very handsome that she felt really hard to tear away her eyes from him.

"Before you kicked me out I have a request Ma'am, will you please come out for sometime?"He asked like a gentlemen bending down his lashes and she laughed out at his act and nodded her head following him towards the small lawn near to her house. he led her towards a wooden bench and signaled her to sit there, she obeyed his gesture, "just a minute, I am coming in few minutes" leaning down his face close to her he whispered and walked out from there giving her chilled sensation, she shivered holding her breath and kept her hand over her chest to stop the raising beat of her heart.

From the few steps away he scrutinized her she was lost somewhere as usual that she even could not see him, he approached her and bent down in front of her with a cake over his palms, "Happy Birthday Nupur"

Nupur gazed at him with surprise, happiness and than love; her eyes had showed so many expressions in a flicker of second, she had been forgot completely today was her birthday, her responsibilities never gave her enough leisure moments so she could think about herself, tears like misty clouds wetted the corner of her eyes blurring her view and Mayank felt urge to gather her in his arms for forever and never let her go anywhere.

"Though still there are three minutes left to 12.Am but I want to be first one"giving glance to his watch he lifted his gaze at her and moving forward his hand he removed the tears.

" Nupur do you have habit to cry ??He teased her and got hit on his shoulder

"Ouch!!!Its hurts Nupur"

She laughed out at his pouting, she looked very happy and clasping his face in her hands she leaned forward and softly placed her lips over his cheek giving him slight peck she moved away a bit..

"Thanks'."

Her words faded away in her mouth as he kept his finger on her lips and gaze into her eyes, "don't say this word again.." he said and hugged her squeezing her tightly, Nupur closed her eyes and hugged him back, "I'll never'"she whispered against his ears and finally let her tears to flow, they pulled apart and Mayank whispered gazing at her "You always surprise me Nupur"

She blushed hard at his comment and shyly moved down her eyes as she knew what he meant, he was referring to her response at his hug, it was the first time she let her heart to do what it wanted to do.

"umm!!!Ma'am now please blows the candles and cut the cake"

She regarded him with love filled gaze and smiled, "As you say Mr.Sharma" she played along with him and smiled whole heartedly after ages or may be it was the first time in her life when she realized there was someone in her life who loved her immensely, who had treated her like a precious thing,like Princess...
