The Heart and Love

"if you have finished your work, let me drop you" Mayank giving her glance slid into chair in front of her and she lifted her gaze at him, " have you finished your work??"She gave him questioning look, "almost an hour before" he replied starring back, she did not know she should have happy to listen those words or feeling bad to not encourage his feelings "I have said you many times you don't have need to wait for me"

She looked at him through her lashes, hoping that her emotions didn't show.

"What if I want to wait for you my whole life?"lifting his gaze until they met with her he said with utter seriousness and she broke the eye contact moving towards door without replying back as she knew she could not get success in this argument, Mayank closed his eyes for a moment getting up from his chair following her, he wanted to press the issue. But he let it drop. He didn't want to upset Nupur. She was also correct in her place; she had responsibility of a sister and a mother and he wanted to share with it But she was a respectable, honorable girl..She could have thrown her responsibility on others though she had been accepted he was not at all "another person" he was Special.

It was now almost four and a half years when she joined "Sharma industry",she had really needed a good job to handle the expenditure of their live hood and her sister Gunjan's studies ,she could not complete her MBA but she wanted her sister to live those dreams which she could not live.

She did not know fate had something else planned for her, she had lost her heart in an meeting when she met Mayank first .she collapsed with him in lift and he hold her in his arms to save her from falling down she could not forget that look which he had given her, so much appreciation she had seen in those eyes for her.she did not know he was the owner of Sharma Industry and when Mayank without taking her interview had selected her she'd rejected that proposal saying that she could not get this opportunity without giving interview and Mayank had left no option to accept it.

She got this job on the basis of her qualification ,her ability but she knew she had been lost her heart for Mayank Sharma..

After few months of her joining one day she got the best surprise in her life when Mayank confessed her love But then she could not give him anything in reply except hurt but he had promised her that day he will wait her till his last breath and he was fulfilling his promise.

She sighed sadly and swung her head to look at him who was silently driving the car,she took the opportunity to watch him she always did the same and felt a familiar tightness in her chest. The tightness created the urge to go to him and confess or put her arms around him.

"why don't you accept you love me Nupur"she fluttered her eyes coming back at her starring session and found him scanning her heart she gasped air trying to hold her emotions but always he got his way in her heart whenever their eyes met.

" Mayank I forget to tell you Gunjan were saying she wanted to take part in college annual drama event so I... '"

"I asked something else" He was looking straight at her and the directness of his gaze made her feel suddenly weak, she knew if she would have seen in those eyes she get lost in their deepness and love..

"Mayank..i'...please..'"she stammered moving away her gaze from his face praying in heart he stopped the car and let her go, the sudden jerk made her realize he had stopped the car in mid way..

He leaned forward and placed his arms around her shoulders and turned her towards him

"Do you have an idea you are playing with both of us emotions? Neither I do not want to enforce my feelings on you nor do I want you to try to escape from your feelings"

His raising voice filled with great frustration, with anger had rushed the blood in her veins she shivered under the tight grip of his hands and a tear escaped from the corner of her eyes,

"You are hurting me Mayank"her slight whispered took him back, his hands dropped to her shoulders and he moved away until he could stared directly in those two vulnerable eyes."I'm sorry..I did not mean to hurt you".

The next half journey went into deep silence, Bother were hurt, deeply hurt, Mayank was waiting to be loved and Nupur was waiting to give him immense love that she had in her heart for him.
