Maaneet are still lost in each other's eyes. Mr. Rahore knocks at the door and comes inside. Maaneet come out of the trance.

Mr. Rathore: Geet beta! i have an urgent work. you carry on with the project discussion. I will be back in an hour

Geet nodes her head.

Mr. Rathore bids a good bye to Maan and leaves the room.

Geet is happy that Maan is going to help her in fulfilling her father's wish. she couldn't have asked for more. After all she can't deny the fact that she trusts Maan more than anyone in the world.

Silence prevails there for few seconds. Geet breaks the silence

Geet: can i say something?

Maan: hmmm

Geet: i have absolutely no idea how to open this children's home. I was believing that Rathore uncle will guide me through this. but when i heard that he is leaving for Australia, i completely lost my hope. Thank you for agreeing to help me. i am feeling more confident now. To be frank, i didn't expect that you will agree

Maan replies with attitude

Maan: i have enough maturity to keep my professional life separate from the personal one

Geet : may be i lack that.

Maan didn't know what she means by that

Geet: Maan...uff...sorry for again calling you Maan. but it will take some time for me to get used to calling you Mr. Khurana. hai na?

Maan wonders what to reply

Geet: can you give me some grace period?

Maan couldn't help but to give in to her innocence. After all she is his life.

Maan: you can call me Maan

Geet: thanks. You too can call me Geet

Maan nodes

Geet: i have some humble requests regarding this project

Maan: pucho

Geet: i can't

Maan rolls his eyes

Maan: tumari problem kya hai?

Geet: i mean...i will give my requests in writing

Maan: then give it

Geet: paper

Maan rolls his eyes and hands over a white sheet to her

Geet: pen

Maan is annoyed. He pulls out a pen from the pen stand and almost throws it at Geet. she didn't miss the catch.

Geet: Maan...

Maan: ab kya? do you want me to take the dictation also?

Geet: woh nahi...i just wanted to thank you

Maan: enough of your thanking business. Ab likho

Geet nodes her head and starts to write like an obedient student. Maan gets back to his laptop. He couldn't help but to keep checking at her. Geet is writing with utmost sincerity as if she is writing her university exam. Maan keeps looking at her hair locks and her ear rings which are moving in rhythm with the movement of her hand. Suddenly Geet lifts her head up and looks at him. instantly he turns his gaze away from her.

Geet: Maan

Maan: hmmm

Geet: ek aur paper

Maan turns to her and looks at her questioningly. Geet understands the meaning of his look

Geet: woh...i have some lengthy requests

He silently hands over another paper to her. she takes it from his hand

G: thanks

Maan: hmm

She again gets back to writing. Maan tries to do some guess works

Maan: (st) what could be her requests?...woh bhi lambi lambi requests.

He realises what he is doing

Maan: (st) Maan! Geet is beyond any predictions. now stop wasting your time in predicting the unpredictables.

He gets back to his laptop.

Afte few minutes...

Geet: Maan! paper

(Oye Geet! why are you keep asking him for paper? have you mistaken Maan Singh Khurana for an exam invigilator or what? OMG!!!! Yeh main kya soch rahi hu? If MSK comes as the exam invigilator, what will happen to the exam?😳)

Maan is annoyed. He lifts his head up and looks at her. Geet is still writing with her left hand while her right hand is stretched out toward him. now only it gets registered in his mind that Geet is writing with her left hand

Maan: (st) is she left handed? Is that why she is being smart in her own way?

Instantly, Maan imagines how Geet would have signed their marriage papers with her left hand. A thought comes to his mind

Maan: (st) had she signed the marriage papers with her right hand...may be the situation would have been different now.

Maan couldn't believe himself that he is thinking like this

Maan: (st) Maan! tum pagal hogaya kya? you have started to imagine like Geet. now stop this non-sense

Geet: maan! paperrr!!!!!!!!

Maan comes out of his thought with a jerk and takes a bunch of white papers and thrusts them into Geet's hand. She lifts her head up and looks at him

Maan: (sarcastically) tum yesa kya likh rahi ho? Apni aatmakatha?

Geet throws him an inncent smile

Maan pulls out another pen from the pen stand and gives it to her.

Maan: (sarcastically) you made need this too

Geet takes the pen from his hand

Geet: You can add the cost of these papers and the two pens to the project cost. I will pay for it.

Maan grinds his teeth. Geet simply ignores the grinding of the great Maan Singh Khurana's poor teeth and gets back to writing.

Maan : (st) pagal ladki

Maaneet both didn't realise that they have started to behave as if nothing happened between them 15 days ago.

Maan gets back to the lap top and googles for the personality traits of left-handers. Few articles catch his attention and he reads them

Some researchers claim that left handers are more intelligent and eloquent than their right-handed counterparts. In tests conducted by Dr. Alan Searleman from St Lawrence University in New York, he found that left-handers can be considerably more intellectually gifted.

There were more left-handed people with IQs over 140 than right-handed people - which is the "genius" bracket. This is perhaps why there are more "lefties" in creative professions - such as music, art and writing - and more left-handed astronauts and leaders than would be expected.

Maan lifts his head up and looks at Geet. she is still writing.

Maan: (st) Geet? more intellectually gifted?? genius bracket???

Maan shakes his head in disbelief and says loudly

Maan: Unbelievable!!!!!

Geet lifts her head up

Geet: what?

Maan: (stammers) woh...kuch nahi

Geet again gets back to writing

Maan sighs and gets back to the laptop and continues to read the article

Again Maan looks at Geet

Maan: (st) Geet is slightly more resistant to social pressures? Hmmm...Interesting!!!!

Maan takes the water glass from his table and drinks it as he continues to read

"Three Canadian researchers have shown that left-handedness is more common in gay men and in lesbian women than in comparable heterosexual persons."

That is it. Maan chokes on water and starts to caugh

Geet is shocked. she lifts her head up and looks at him

Geet: kya hua Maan?

Maan couldn't reply. he keeps coughing severely

Immediately Geet gets up from her seat; goes to Maan and starts to massage his back with her left hand while resting her right hand on his shoulder. A current passes through Maan's body. His caugh stops instantly. He lifts his head up and looks into Geet's eyes. mahii mahii eyelock. Few minutes later, Geet realises what she is doing. she breaks the eyelock, takes her hands off Maan and moves little bit away from him. Maan still keeps looking at her without blinking his eyes. Geet senses that something is happening to her by his intense look.

Geet: (st) hey babaji! yeh kya ho raha hai? how i am going to work with him on this project?
