Hey Prash ,

Nikki is behaving like a typical girl ... khud he man mein sab kucho soch liya and rai ka pahar bana liya ... I just talked abt it in my ff that in my ff I am getting some ideas of how both will interact behaving just like a guy and a girl ...

My comments on my thread ...

What a guy feels and what a girl feels ... a typical hum tum situation .. I am getting a few flashes into this boy-girl thing and u will see it in the coming updates ...but just in flashes ... DMG was the only show to dipict a guy and girl thing otherwise other shows leave no scope for what a person feels cause there are so many family members teling them what to feel and what not to feel .

Arent girl like that .. the guy says something , we make it mean something cry then console ourselves and the guy will be like .. hey I didnt even say that hehheehh did u watch pyaar ka panchnaama ... ?

For me the highlight of this update was N realising how she is so dependent on A now ... For a person who has lived alone, and been so independent it sure is big deal.. esp when one starts expecting things from other as naturally as she is... And its that disappointment -- oh well may it be right thing to not do what she expected - it surely makes her think about all these thing... Loved it...

Another interesting thing that i liked was the way N wasnt in one instant happy that A went and talked to Sid... When Sid's phone call started i was really hoping N doesnt get all excited about it in one minute forgetting how A had reacted earlier.. And you gave us exactly that :)

Pri , thanks so much . I can't tell you how happy I am to see you notice my attempts at keeping this FF real even though it is fictional . And this particular scene that you are talking about , I had a great experience writing it , because definitely N is someone who has been fiercely independent and then A comes into her life and for a while and there are full chances of how she would be overwhelmed with his presence and companionship . But it was but natural, that she would realise it one day and what better time then when she was already in that introspective mode. And like you pointed out , there are all those expectations which always complicate things . So , all those complicated emotions is what I meant when I had said that there will be a lot of not-so-straightforward emotional stuff in the upcoming updates😊 .

@bold part , brilliant . I am so glad we think alike , that's all I can say :)

Mitzi , thanks for all your lovely comments . I love it when you get in that analytical mode and we virtually start brainstorming , though I don't have much time to get into a long session.

Well , with repsct to the next update, I am still rewriting parts as my laptop is repaired , but believe it or not I am too scared to use it , worried that something might happen to it again . Call me weird , but I am fiercely protective towards my laptop 😃.

And what will happen betwen A and N , hmmm , well I like the multiple choices you have provided there . I can tell you it definitely is one of those options or probably something like that :)) . I'll try and update soon.

@bold part , yes correct . Nikki may not be a typical girl , but like all of us , she shares the common feminine base , over analyzing stuff and getting to conclusions and that too not necessarily right ones . I recollect the post you have quoted ( I read it from my cell phone when my laptop fiasco had started and so could not respond) .And I also know how this man woman dynamics fascinates you :).

Yes DMG , at least the AN portions and to an extent , Sid and Tamanna (well thsoe are the only parts I watched anyway) in some ways focussed on this dynamics . And another show I can think of is a very old program on Zee , I am not sure how many remember it , it was called Banegi apni baat and though I was very young when that used to air I used to love the young and old relationships they portrayed in that show .

And of course , Hum Tum and Band bajaa baarat are two movies that come to my mind , that I immensely enjoyed .

And now abt pyaar kaa punchnaama , ah ! that was one movie I did not want to watch because I had a feeling that they were going to portray the women in an extremely one dimensional light and when I read the reviews and other general opinion , I was proved right . But then my interest was renewed after I read your comment and I finally managed to watch the whole movie . Though I did not like the movie and the women were indeed worse than one dimensional , I could see myself sympathizing with the men , specially Liquid 😊. I don't think I have ever come across a more underwhelmingly fascinating character in recent Hindi cinema . Even thinking of him makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time .

So , that said ,I will wait for the flashes in your mind and of course , the rest of your FF :)

I mentioned yaar ka punchnaama as the girl is always about talking and discussing and the guy is like ...what discussion ...why are we always discussing ... hehehe poor guy !

Prash tum bhi naa. that movie was about the meanness that all girls posess .. dont tell me you havent acted like one of the girls ... I would identify myself with the girl who is with liquid the most. and of course being a girl ... i m like all 3 of them to some extent.

If the movie went downhill in the second part .. it was cause it got into too much rona dhona ... and yes I would definately like to see part 2 with the same guys , just for this movie those guys were cute !
