PART 19

Pratham entered the kitchen and asked Gauri and Savitri Devi to come outside. He asked them in such a way both of them felt there is something serious and knowing Pratham is coming after talking to Maan they got very tensed. Pratham was having a hard time not to laugh seeing their grim faces. Finally all the three moved out in the hall...

Pratham(with a very serious face): Maa! Gauri! Maan dobara shaadi karna chahta hai.
Gauri & Dadima: Kya????? Phir Geet???
Pratham: Wohi to...
Gauri: Dekhiye Pratham us nalayak ko keh dijiye hum Geet ke elava kisi ko apni bahu nahin manenge.
Pratham: To tumse kisne kaha ki tumhari bahu koi aur hai???
Gauri: Aap ne hi to...

The realisation struck her that Pratham was pulling their leg but she still didn't understand what was this he wants to marry again.

Gauri: Pratham had karte hain aap bhi hamari khichaai karne ke liye aap apne hi bete ke baare mein ulta seedha bol rahe hain.
Pratham: Lo! Maine kya ulta seedha kaha Maan sach mein dobara shaadi karna chahta hai...

Now the real thing struck Gauri's as well as Dadima's brain...

Pratham just nodded his head in positive. Annie heard the last few bits of the conversation and screamed at the top of her voice.

Annie: Bhai aur Geet ki dobara shaadi????? Is baar main kisi ki nahin sunoongi dher saari masti karoongi and haan mom dad please is baar hadbad mat karna shopping ke liye time dena. Aur haan...
Gauri: Bas beta saans le lo hum bhi poori dhoom dhaam se is baar shaadi karna chahte hain. To ab apki jo bhi lambi chaudi list hai maze karne ki wo poori kar lena koi nahin rokega.

Annie hugged Gauri from behind.

Annie: Thanks mom! Main bahot khush hoon. Main Geet se milke aati hoon.
Gauri: Ja rahi ho to un dono ke liye nashta leti jao morning walk se wapas aaye hain bhook to lagi hogi.

She smirked while saying that morning walk bit.

Annie: Ok mom!

Annie left for the kitchen.

Pratham called panditji and asked him to come as early as possible.
Maan's decision enlightened the whole Khurana in a new wave of happiness.

Annie went to Maaneet's room in her excitement she opened the door without knocking and was utterly embarrassed she shut the door back seeing their locked lips. Their moment broke and both of them were panting heavily with their faces were deeply flushed while Annie was constantly repeating from outside...

Annie: Maine kuch nahin dekha sachchi...

Adding up to their misery... Finally Maan got hold of his breath as well as his sense...

MAAN: Ab andar aa bhi jao ab bahar khade rehkar kya karogi???

Annie entered put the tray on the side table...

Annie: Bhai ye sab karne se pehle door check kar liya karo wo to main thi mom dad hote to???

Geet was cherry red hearing her comment. Her eyes were glued to floor and she felt like running away from there.

MAAN: Annie ji mom dad jaante hain ki kisi ke room mein bina knock kiye nahin aate ye harkat sirf apke jaise ganwaron ki hi ho sakti hai.
Annie: Hawww bhai you called me ganwar ab dekho main kya karti hoon. (shouted with controlled voice just to warn Maan) Mom dad pata hai bhai aur Geet abhi...

Maan put his palm on her mouth to shut her up.

MAAN: Achcha sorry meri maa ganwar nahin kahoonga please kisi se kuch mat kehna.
Annie: Ok bhai nahin kahoongi waise bhi aaj maine itni good news suni hai to apko baqsh diya.

With that Annie pounced on Maan for a bear hug.

Annie: Bhai main bahot khush hoon ki aap Geet se phir se shaadi kar rahe ho waise bhi us shaadi mein bilkul enjoy nahin kiya tha na ab main saari kasar nikaloongi.
MAAN: Ok sweetheart! Chalo ab main chalta hoon office ke liye late ho raha hai.
Annie: Arey bhai! Mom ne aap dono ka nashta bhijwaya hai pehle khalo phir jao.
MAAN: Main to kha chuka. Bas haan I'll have this coffee.
Annie: Bhai kha lo kiss se din bhar kaam karne ki shakti nahin milti aur Geet tum bhi khao tumhein to khaali pet rehna bhi mana hai.
GEET: Main sachchi mein kha chuki hoon Annie Maan se pooch lo.
Annie: Ek minute aap log morning walk pe gaye the ya breakfast date pe.

The hue on their faces was enough to let her know she got it right.
Annie smirked.

Annie: Kya baat hai bhai aap to bade romantic nikle???
MAAN: Chup kar aur ab main chalta hoon bye.

He looked at Geet they exchanged byes through eyes and Maan left.
Their short eye convo did not go unnoticed by Annie.

Annie: Ankhon hi ankhon mein ishara ho gaya...
GEET: Annie please tang mat karo na...
Annie: Achchaji to ab hum apko tang karte hain. Haan sayyan mile to dost hue paraye kyun????
GEET: Kaisi baatein kar rahi ho Annie tum to meri...
Annie: Achcha achcha chhodo abhi no senti talks kyunki main bahot khush hoon. Geet poochne ki zaroorat to nahin hai jo maine dekha uske baad phir bhi tum khush ho na???

Geet did not say anything but the glow on her face and the shine of her eyes said it all...

Annie: Haye main marjawan Geet! Bas ab to Babaji se yehi dua hai kisi ki nazar na lage hamari khushiyon ko aur tumhara aur bhai ka pyar aise hi badhta rahe..

Geet just hugged her out of shyness.

IN MAAN'S CAR

Maan's phone rang and a big smile crept up Maan's lips seeing the caller. He picked the call...

Caller: Hello bhai! Kaise ho?? Ghar pe sab kaise hain??? I really missed you all in those stupid khandars..
MAAN: Saans le lo Vicky kisiki flight nahin chhootne wali...
Vicky: Uf fo bhai mai itne time baad call kar raha hoon aur aap ko mazaq soojh raha hai...???
MAAN: Achcha baba ab please apna exaggerated emotinal drama mat shuru karna...please. Ghar pe sab log theek hain aur tum kab aa rahe ho apne stupid khandaron se bahar???
Vicky: Bhai main khandaron se bahar to aa gaya hoon... Bombay mein thoda office work tha bas do din mein nipta ke I'll be back in Delhi...
MAAN: Oh thats great yaar phir to tum aao I've a big surprise for you aur mujhe yaqeen hai you'll be big time shocked...
Vicky: Wow surprise!!! Waise surprised to main abhi bhi hoon apki awaaz mein jo ek gehri khushi ka ehsaas hai apki thats rare with MSK. Ab to ye do din wait karna mushkil ho jaega I'm sure this surprise is the reason behind the change in you. Right bhai???
MAAN: No hints dude jaldi aa tabhi pata chalega...
Vicky: Achcha bhai hoshiayarpur mein sab kaise hain..

Maan was suddenly enraged hearing the name of the place where his pari has gone through so much of pain and trauma and remembering those sweet poisons who wanted to take away her everything...but he controlled himself.

MAAN: Haan wahaan bhi sab theek hai...
Vicky: Ok bhai chalo I gotta go. Bye! Cya!
MAAN: Bye!!!

Maan was still enraged remembering all those people who tortured his pari then his enrage turned into self anger and guilt since he blamed himself for not being vigilant and not taking proper care of his Geet and for not being there for her in moments of need but he calmed remembering Geet's plea of forgetting their past and starting their new life afresh.

MAAN(thinking): Main wada karta hoon Geet ab se tumhara saaya ban ke har kadam tumhare saath loonga aur har musibat ko tum tak pahonchne se pehle hi jad se ukhad doonga.

Adi was giving details of some project but Maan was completely lost in the dreamland with his pari. Adi was astonished to see Maan lost somwhere and smiling too he tried to call him in a low voice but seeing no effect on him he shouted finally being successful in breaking his trance but was baffled when Maan just smirked and did not scold him for shouting.

Sitting in his cabin Maan's thoughts roamed around today's amazing morning and his heart jumped with happiness remembering Geet being comfortable in his proximity and he almost jumped out of his chair remembering how she herself kissed him.

Remembering his love filled gestures for her she vowed to herself that she will always be there with and for her LOVE..

Geet blushed at 'jaan'... He has used this word many times for her now but for her each time felt like first...
He knows the effect this word has on her really well and he smirked imagining her red cheeks...

GEET: Nupur ne jo project bataya tha wohi kar rahi hoon...
MAAN: Par ab laptop band karo aur tayyar ho jao doctor ke paas jana hai na... Main bas pahonchne wala hoon...
GEET: Ji!
MAAN: Haye!
GEET: Ji???
MAAN: Jab tum itne pyaar se ji bolti ho to kuch kuch hota hai...

She smiled slightly...

MAAN: Haye ye halki si muskurahat...aisa lagta hai jaise badlon mein chupa chand apni bheeni si chandni phaila raha hai...

Her cheeks turned pink...

MAAN: Ye tumhare gulabi gaal tumhare masoom se chehre ki masoomiyat mein chaar chand laga dete hain...

Geet was now looking here and there with confused expressions...

GEET: Maan aap kahan hain??
MAAN: Abhi to bataya raste mein hoon...
GEET: Par phir...
MAAN: Kya tumhein waqi lagta hai ki Meri kaun si baat meri pari ke chehre par kya rangat lati hai ye janne ke liye mujhe ankhon ki zaroorat hai??

Geet was awestruck by his answer... She couldn't speak... He guessed her state...

MAAN: Jaldi de tayyar ho jao... Cya jaan!

He cut the call... Geet came out of the trance with the beep of her phone... She hit her head lightly with a big smile on her face...and mumbled to hersef "jhalli"...

Maan was welcomed with congrats and hugs by each member of the family since panditji that very moment declared the date of their marriage..

For the first time in his life Maan's heart was elated at the name of marriage... He never understood his dislike but he always kept himself away from marriages... He never attended any marriage even of the closest of relatives but his drooped world started blossoming the day he married his pari... It was true he took a lot of time and committed a lot of heavy mistakes before realising his pari's worth but now he will not let any trouble come near her... After all she is HIS PARI "the ANGEL sent by heavens only for him"...

He left to see what his pari was doing...

Geet was sitting in front of the mirror and was about to apply sindoor when Maan came and held her hand...

MAAN: Tumne itna bara gunah karne ki sochi bhi kaise??

Geet got really scared and nervous... The thought he still did not accept her hit her mind and she went pale instantly...
Maan got really scared seeing her pale... He hugged her protectively from the back.

MAAN: Arey jaan aise ghabra ke meri jaan mat nikalo main to bas ye keh raha tha ki jo tum karne ja rahi thi wo karne ka haq to sirf aur sirf mera haina???

In no time her face changed colour from pale to pink... She was going to curse herself for thinking wrong about Maan but that very moment Maan kissed her cheek unknowingly restricting her curse session...

MAAN: Par jaan ek baat manogi??
GEET: Ye kaisa sawaal hai Maan apki kisi baat se kabhi inkaar kiya hai apki Geet ne??
MAAN: Pehle sun to lo...
GEET: Aap bas keh ke dekhiye Maan...
MAAN: Achcha par agar thoda sa bhi dil na maane to mana kar dena ok..
GEET: Ok!
MAAN: Geet jahan tumne itna intazaar kiya hai is sindoor ko lagane ke liye kya do hafte aur kar sakti ho??
GEET: Maan aap chahein to main bina kisi shikayat ke ye intezaar saari zindagi kar sakti hoon.

Maan felt the glint of disappointment in her eyes...

MAAN: Geet please udaas mat ho main bas chahta tha ki ab pehli baar main tumhari maang hamari shaadi ke mandap mein un saat vachnon ko lene ke baad bharoon par agar...
GEET: Nahin Maan main hi jhalli hoon jo har baat pe darr jati hoon ki apne mujhe dil se nahin mana hai... I'm sorry Maan and I promise kabhi apko galat samajhne ki galti dobara nahin karoongi aur raha sawaal intezaar ka to apko kaise pata hamari shaadi...

Her eyes widened with realisation and her face was glowing with immense happiness... He twirled her in his embrace and kissed her forehead...

MAAN: Yup jaan hamari shaadi ka mahurat panditji ne theek do hafte baad solah(16) december ka nikala hai..

She could feel many emotions at the same time running through her heart...she was happy, shy, nervous and a bit sad that she won't be having anyone from her side...but amidst every emotion the happiness of getting the chance to live her dream again was dominant...
But how could he fail to read the tiny glint of sadness in her sparkling hazels...

MAAN: Kya hua Geet? Tum khush to hona?
GEET: Maan main khush nahin bahot bahot zyada khush hoon..
MAAN: To phir tumhari ankhon mein ye udaasi ki jhalak kyun??
GEET: Aisa kuch nahin hai Maan..
MAAN: Apne Maan se jhoot haan Geet??
GEET: Aisa nahin hai Maan bas soch rahi thi ki kaash is shaadi mein koi aisa bhi shaamil hota jise main apne mayke ka keh sakti...
MAAN: Geet mom dad dadima tumhein apni beti se barh kar chahte hain aur Annie tumhein mujhse zyaada pyaar karti hai phir tum in sab logon ko khud se paraya kyun samajh rahi ho??

They held each other in a long hug...sharing their happiness with each other and showering the other with their boundless love...

Look I was right update padne se pehle hi maine tumhe bata diya tha k this is going to b superb and as usual tumhari Pihu kabhi galat ho hi nahi sakthi

hmm... Pratham ne toh sabki jaan hi nikal di thi par luckily sab samaj gaye aur Annie toh excitement mein aakar itni paagal ho gayi k bina knock kiye room mein dhakil ho gayi

Annie not fair itne pyari kissy moment ko break kar diya very but Maan next time se do lock the door ok strict warning from my side hehe

hmm... the song seq was beautiful aur jaise maine tumhe pehle bhi kaha k this is one of my fav and the way u used it was just out of this world

song seq ka highlight was when maan thinks k hum 14 janmo ka vachan lenge it was so sweet i love u maan

well well well I really loved this part
