Scene430 Karan's unusual reaction

Karan asks his manager to attend meeting on behalf of him and Arjun and holds Arjun hand and drags him out of lobby saying "Excuse please"

Arjun: Where are you dragging me Karan?

Karan does not answer anything but looks at Arjun. His eyes convey pain, pain of Arjun betraying his trust, pain at having lied to police to save Arjun from a crime that he had actually done. Today Karan had become an accomplice in a crime by saving Arjun. But currently his priority was different from confronting Arjun. Arjun avoids anyone's eyes because he is feeling very guilty that because of him Karan was abused, hit and had to lie to save him.

Karan makes him sit in his car and asks his driver, PA and security to go home and he will come later alone. He stops at medical shop and buys a few things. Then he drives to Arjun's house.

Arjun keeps asking where he is going but Karan does not reply.

Once Karan reaches the apartment, he asks Reshma to leave for the day and raj and Blacky to go to their room and lock the door and not come out till he tells.

Raj: OK uncle, come Blacky

Arjun: Karan, what are you doing?

Karan drags him to his bedroom and locks the door and orders: Remove your socks and shoes now

Arjun scared: Why?????

Karan bends down and starts removing Arjun's left shoes and socks himself and then removes the stocking and the plaster very slowly and says: So, my guess is right

Arjun feeling ashamed and guilty

Karan: What is this bullet injury?

Arjun bends his eyes: My elder brother Mikhael was in danger from rival gang. So

Karan opens the door and barges out before he can complete the sentence and goes to kitchen and gets boiling water and burning candle.

He opens first aid kit he had got on the way and says: This will pain a bit, close your eyes

Scene431 Karan removes the bullet in Arjun's leg

Arjun looking at him amazed and lovingly

Karan: Close your eyes now

Arjun: No, Its OK

Karan: OK, at least do not stare at the wound

Karan cleans the wound and puts tincture and then lights the candle and heats the knife edge and pours alcohol on wound and slowly opens the wound asking continuously "Is it paining"

Arjun has tears flowing continuously not out of pain but because of Karan's love towards him. He says "No, its not paining"

At last Karan has reached the bullet and removes it slowly as to not hurt Arjun

Karan brings the thread to put stitches and says: This will definitely hurt. Close your eyes

Arjun does not close his eyes and is staring at Karan lovingly. The fact that his brother is so concerned for him has numbed all his pain.

Karan: You are like Heman. Don't you feel any pain at all

Karan stitches the wound very slowly.

Arjun: Where did you learn all this?

Karan: In college- I took optional medicine course for one full year. I have done this many times. Do not worry

Arjun: Thanks for taking such good care of me

Karan: I will take1000 kisses chocolates. No free service

Arjun: 1000 you will eat so many

Karan: 800 for Chutki 200 for me

Arjun laughs: You love Gunjan very much. Gunjan is so lucky to have a brother like you

Karan smiles thinking: She is more of my daughter than sister

Karan ties bandage to his leg

Scene432 Karan asks Raj to take care of Arjun

Karan: eat the antibiotic in the bag for 2 weeks. And do not walk for 3 days- stitches may come off OK. I will remove them after a week

Arjun: Ok doctor Karan

Karan sadly: I wanted to be doctor buttt

Arjun: Buttt

Karan: Nothing

And goes to kitchen and gets him turmeric milk and makes him drink saying "Mom makes me drink when I am unwell"

Karan goes to kitchen and brings a plate of food for Arjun.

Karan: eat this and takes these two tablets and gives them to Arjun

Arjun looks at Karan and sees blood on his lips.

Arjun: There is blood on your lips

Karan wipes: Blood, must be when inspector hit. That's OK

Karan: Take rest now. I will take your class tomorrow

Arjun: Means

Arjun can seen anger not the real anger a concerned anger in Karan's blue eyes. A concern of losing his best friend.

Karan shouts: Means . I feel like giving you two tight slaps. Anyways we will speak tomorrow

Arjun looks shocked and smiles with love to Karan. So now his baby brother his son wants to slap him. His hands are huge like the basket ball players getting a slap from such huge hands will be a new experience. Till now only police, Arohi family and Arohi has slapped him.

Karan goes and calls Raj and explains to ensure that Arjun does not get up from bed as he has fever for 3 days and goes off.

Arjun: How will you go home? Atleast take my car and go home Karan

Karan stares at him angrily: You need not worry about me. Raj, come and close the door

Raj closes door and comes back

Raj puts hand on Arjun forehead: daddy, you have fever

Arjun: Yesss

Raj: why uncle is so angry?

Arjun: Who? Karan Nooo

Blacky is staring at Arjuns leg and Arjun gets nervous and puts blanket on his leg. If Raj sees wound he will call everyone and tell.

All three go to sleep

Scene433 Karan demands truth

Next day Karan arrives at 7am. Its Saturday- no school no office

Karan orders: Reshma take Raj and Rocky and go for walk. Ask my driver he will drop you to garden

Reshma: But Arjun Sir, I will ask his permission

Reshma runs to bedroom: Shall we go out to garden bhaiya as Karan Sir told?

Arjun looks at Karan in hall pacing up and down like a lion in cage angry

Arjun: Yes, do as Karan tells

Reshma, Raj and Blacky leave

Karan locks the main door after bidding them Good bye

Karan then goes to Arjun room. Arjun lowers his eyes to avoid gaze.

Karan has started acting like those 1950's hindi movie mother in laws with him thinks Arjun.

Arjun laughs at his thoughts

Karan stares at him. Arjun laughs more.

Karan: What?

Arjun joking: You remind me of Lalita Pawar

Karan: Who is that?

Arjun: Actress

Karan confused: Actress?

Arjun had thought he will cool down but he is more angry

Arjun: Yeah, she was famous for doing mother in law roles who taunt their daughter in laws

Karan: So I am your mother in law now?

Arjun laughs: No no you are acting like that only that's why

Karan: Leave that and tell me now what was this thing you were doing yesterday. I want answers right now

Scene434 Arjun tries to laugh off Karan's questions

Arjun laughs: Else you will give me two slaps, I remember

Arjun stares at his huge hands and closes his eyes: I am ready but slap me lightly. I may faint. Your hands are huge and powerful OK and I am not that strong as I make out to be Karan

Karan is in rage now. He is talking serious and Arjun is doing comedy

Karan: I am not interested in jokes. Give me answers now. Else I will call Arohi bhabhi and your sister. They will take your proper class now

Arjun whispering: You are only equal to them both together

Karan: What are you whispering?

Arjun folds his hand: Nooo pleaseee I beg of you

Karan orders: Tell me nowww

Arjun has no option but to tell truth now. After all Karan saved him yesterday from police and jail(5 years jail for sure). He also tended to his bullet wounds and saved his life and leg may be. So he deserves to know the truth.

Karan is upset pacing up and down like caged lion.

Arjun tells everything

Karan scolding: What are you superman?

Arjun: No Batman

Karan stares in anger

Arjun: Raj Raj says that not funny OK I will keep quiet

Arjun laughs: My sister also scolds me like you only but she never slaps me. But you can you can slap me. But slowly OK. I may fall down from bed your palms are huge. Slowly

Arjun closes his eyes again.

Arjun is thinking: Is this a dream? My brother is getting so upset so tensed for me.

Karan looks at him closed eyes and is starting to melt but no he must not give in to Arjun's emotional blackmail tactics. Arjun's parents do not stay with him or keep eye on him. So he has to advice him like an elder its his duty as his friend to guide him to correct path.

Scene435 Arjun's emotional blackmail

Karan gets wild now: Its not funny Arjun OK. what if that bullet had pierced some vital organ? What if police caught you or shot you? What if you had fallen off trolley? You have left criminal world why you went back to help you could have told others to help? What if blah blah blah blah

Arjun cannot believe his Karan without knowing Arjun is his own brother is showing so much care and has tears. If he really knew Arjun was his brother how much more concern and care he would have shown towards him.

Karan: Is it hurting? Why did you start crying now buddy?

Arjun sniffling: Nothing

Karan angry: Yeah hide everything from me who am I to you a stranger buddy

Arjun hears as: Who am I to you a stranger bhaiya?

Arjun thinks: You are never a stranger to me baby.

Arjun grabs Karan hand and pulls him to sit on bed and hugs him

Arjun starts crying.

Arjun thinking if only he had his baby brother to scold him like this from childhood he would not have become a criminal. Karan would definitely not have allowed him to go in wrong path. Neither would his parents.

Karan has decided Arjun's emotional blackmail will not have affect on him.

Karan some minutes is angry but when Arjun cries so much he melts away like chocolate in hot milk.

Karan lowers his voice like when he speaks to his Gunjan: Buddy what happened? Do not cry. Sorry if I shouted more at you very sorry stop crying now. I told for your own good if you still felt bad sorry

Karan rubs his back
