Scene427 Karan lies to save Arjun

Rajveer: Wait, a minute. One minute. The register said you came at 9:10pm into hotel

Arjun nervous: Yes

Rajveer: You left at 6:00pm your office and reached here at 9:10pm. It takes 1.5 hours to reach from your office to hotel. Where were you in between?

Arjun: I I hmmm

(Trying to think some reason with good alibi)

Karan realizes Arjun is involved and says: He was with me

Arjun stunned and looking at Karan. Karan looks at him questioningly. Arjun removes eye contact as he is guilty

Karan turns to Rajveer: He was with me. We were just discussing business and driving around

Rajveer: From 6pm to 9:10 for 3 hours 10 mins you drove around in car discussing business

Karan: Yes, we discussed not only business. We are young boys we discussed other stuff too

Rajveer: What other stuff?

Karan says in lowered voice so that others do not hear: Other stuff like like girls- pretty girls, their nakras, football and you know all the boy stuff boys discuss. Then seriously- Do not ask me what Boys stuff? I cannot give explanation- not here in this lobby with so many people. If you still insist on knowing come to some room and we will discuss one to one only. I cannot share it in public

Arjun is looking at his brother in awe. He must have been a lawyer he is very good at speaking and making up things instantly. If it was left to Arjun his lies would have been caught by Rajveer by now.

Rajveer: But in register it mentions both your cars are there in this hotel

Karan: Yes, we came in one car from office but will go back to our house in our own cars. Do you have an objection for that?

Karan avoids looking at his security personnel since they know he was lying for Arjun sake. Security, PA looking at each other thinking why Yuvraj Karan is lying?

They left office at 6pm is correct but they all had driven to the fort and spent time there till 7pm and then come to conference. But they keep quiet thinking Karan is doing it to save Arjun who had helped Gunjan many times.

Scene428 Rajveer manhandles Karan

Rajveer looks at Arjun in rage and opens the handcuff and releases him.

Rajveer: I am leaving you this time without proof Arjun Singhania. Next time will come with proof and your friend here will not be able to save you.

Karan: Next time will never come. You owe an apology don't you think so

Rajveer: Hey boy, you are new to Chandigarh may be that's why you are daring to speak so much to me

Karan: Yes, I am new to this place. But that does not mean I do not know basic rules, regulations, laws etc. As an independent citizen of this world I know what you did was not correct. You misused your power.

Rajveer very angry and catches his collar with both hands. Karan takes his hands and throws them with utter disregard.

Karan continues in rage: And I think you are human like all of us two legs, two hands. Do you have any extra features God has given you that you can misbehave with others?

Rajveer holds his collar again in anger: I will show you what extra features I have

Karan does not show any fear. His security runs forward to protect him.

Arjun shouts in rage: Leave Karan's collar. Do not dare raise your hands on him.

Rajveer looks in anger at Arjun.

Rajveer pushes Karan back as he releases his collar to remove his anger on Arjun and Karan's leg hits the table and he stumbles. The table glass falls down and shatters to many pieces. People move back in fear.

Arjun runs forward to catch him: Karannn

Karan is about to fall on glass pieces. Karan gets back to feet before he falls on glass pieces because his security run and catch him before he lands on floor completely.

Security Incharge: Are you OK?

and what is rajveer still doing there! he should just go so that arjun can explain everything to karan before it is too late...

Scene429 Karan's security incharge-Rajveer argument

A few glass pieces pierce Karan's left hand that he uses to stop his fall on the ground. Karan's colleagues who have come to conference run forward to check his well being.

Karan: I am fine I am fine everyone not to be worried. I am OK. Thanks

The security officer brushes off the small glass pieces sticking to Karan's hand and ties a handkerchief to his hand. Arjun runs forward and brushes off glass pieces sticking to his suit.

Security officer concerned: Did it hurt Karan baba?

Karan shakes his head saying "No".

Rajveer smirks: Baba is he a small baby

Arjun stares at Rajveer in rage. Rajveer had removed his anger on innocent Karan. He was abusing his power of a police officer.

The security is furious at Rajveer's misbehavior towards Karan. After all Karan is small just 22 years old and a kid and its his duty to protect him in his father's absence. And this person has worked for PRS and family for 35 years and Karan was like a child to him too.

Security incharge: Officer, how dare you misbehave like this?

Rajveer: Who the hell are you now?

Security in rage: Do you know whom you are misbehaving with?

Karan: Its Ok. Leave it uncle.

Security incharge: But heee

Karan: Its OK please

Security Incharge angrily staring at Rajveer: But what if you had been hurt beta?

Karan places hand on the security shoulders: I am fine. I am perfectly alright uncle.

Security officer fumes and looks at Karan. Karan does ishaara that he is fine and officer keeps quiet but stares at Rajveer. Rajveer gets ready to leave.

Karan: Inspector no apologies for misbehaving

Rajveer stares at him in anger.

Arjun: Karan please , leave it no

Rajveer gets one more last idea. He goes towards Arjun and acts as if he stumbled and stamps the left leg very hard.

The pain is unbearable but Arjun just closes his eyes and opens. Karan observes. Now his doubt is confirmed Arjun has been hit by a bullet in his left leg which he hid using a skin colored stocking.

Rajveer: I tripped sorry

Arjun: Its OK

Rajveer and police leave
