PART 4

Maan pulled her towards him and looked straight into her eyes

He went near her and whispered slowly in her ears

"Geet"

Geetha someone shouted from the kitchen

Maan yeh shaadi ka ghar hai

There's a lot of work to do

Let me go

She freed herself from his grip and walked quickly from the room

Geet Listen!!

Finally everyone was ready for the marriage that is going to take place at 2:00AM early in the morning

Slowly everyone left the house Maan and Geet were left along with Meera

The whole house was almost empty .

Geet got ready and went towards Maan's room.

She slightly bent her head and peeped into his room

Maans stood infront of the mirrors with a bottle of coconut oil in his hand

He opened the cap smelled it

Iski koi zaroorat nahi hai

He heard a voice and he very well recognized her voice

He smiled and looked towards her .She was looking no less than an angel .

She was looking gorgeous in her traditional south Indian sari ,she looked ravishing with green pattu sari and the simple jewellery was simply highlighting her beauty.

Two bangles on each hand ,traditional, SouthIndian Jhumkas , A thing waist chain around her waist .

She went near him and took the coconut bottle from his hand

Iski koi zaroorat nahi hai, jaise ho waise hi raho

She passed a smile .

He was dressed simply in an off-white sherwani .

He looked through her eyes ,the feeling of those sharp eyes staring hers was itself addictive.

He moved towards the table ,picked something from the table.

Geet ..yeh woh maine kuch dino pehle hi liya tha..I thought it would suit you

If you want to ...

She took it in her hand and looked at the a beautiful chain with a pendant in his hand.

Romba alaga irukku (It's so beautiful)

She tried to wear to but failed in doing so

Maan moved forward and took the chain from her hand ,he moved her braid that was pinned with jasmine flowers forward . The whole room was filled with the scent of the flowers .

He tightened the hook ,while tightening it ,the touch of his fingers produced a tickiling sensation on her bare neck.

She chuckled which made the flowers in her braid move

He smiled at the flowers ,those were probably the prettiest flowers he ever saw.

His touch made her blush.

It wasn't the first time he touched her but this was different from the other times.

He turned hers towards the mirror ,She raised her lowered eyes and looked at the mirror .

She touched her chain and smiled she never felt this beautiful .

Her smile itself said it all.

She turned towards him and suddenly her eyes became big and she hit her head.

Ayyayo!! We are getting late

Some saris of Divya akka are still with us we have to reach there soon.

They both came out of the room

Meera come fast !!

Meera came out while adjusting her ear rings .

Maan

Yeah Meera said Maan while looking at her

I think ..her words stopped in between after she watched Maan.

Her eyes popped out

Maan she repeated

She literally checked him from top to bottom with her mouth open.

She definitely recognised him but still she couldn't believe her eyes.

Maan got conscious

Meera..!! Geet patted her shoulders slightly aware of the reason behind Meera's open mouth

Wait slightly ..no fully!!

Meera came back to her senses and shut her mouth ,she thought of asking about Maan but later she realised that its better to stay calm rather than making a fool of herself.

The left the house and sat in the car ,meera got a call and she received it .

Geet woh puraane ghar mein shayad kuch gifts reh gaye hai ,woh le-ana yeh rahi chabi us shar ki

Theek hai Meera hum dono woh gifts le aayenge usme shayad thoda time lag jaye ,toh tum chali jao and yeh car bhej dena!!

Okk Geet

Geet and Maan got down ,took the gifts in a bag and came out ,they waited for an hour but the car didn't come

They waited and waited.

Geet it's 11 I think we should leave

Maan call Meera

Geet I forgot my mobile

WHAT??!!!

So what you have yours with you na

No Maan even I fogot mine ,actually we were getting late na

Geet said with a tensed voice and a baby face

And I don't even remember Meera's number!!

Even If you remember the numbers how will you call?

It's 12 AM ,no STD booth is open ,all shops are closed ,the road is empty ,I can't see any single human roaming here Hello is anyone there??No response tin tin And even If we find someone with a mobile phone and also with hands that are ready to give it you don't remember Meera's number and I don't remember my dad's number as he has taken a new number and your Amma Appa woul be completely busy in the marriage rituals ,tadaan what an intresting story!!

Maan said in a single breath

And then started to smile.

Geet said with a blank expression

Geet removed her jhumkas ,bangles and chain and kept it in the bag!!

I don't want to invite danger by not removing these .

Yeah I don't expect you to break the bones of the thief in case his eyes fall on these extremely costly Gold now a days!!!!

I think you watch a lot of action movies ,seriously I need to set a remainder

The hall is 10 KM from here and we need to reach there soon, so let's give it a try

Geet how long are we gonna wait here??

They talked to the truck driver and sat in it ,they kept looking at all the directions possible but couldn't find anything

Everything was empty

Maan mujhe kuch gadbad lag raha hai ...abhi 1 bajne wale hai but it doesn't mean ki raaste aise deserts ki tarah khaali ho

We better get down

Stop the truck. Stop anna we need to get down!!

They both got down and went to the driver

Anna how far is the xxx kalyana mandapam from here??

WHAT?? Shouted Geet and Maan together!!!

In the meanwhile the driver started the truck and went

Get's let's give a try !! how long are we gonna wait??

Wait oh God now we are 20 km far!!

Then luckily they saw an auto coming towards them.

They ran towards it but the auto driver refused to take them even after a lot of efforts by both of them.

They sat on the bench near the bus stop

Geet hum apni shaadi subah ke time karenge ,and specially tab jab roads khaali na ho

Haan haan ..hum roads ke beech mein taxis bhi rukwange !! So that even if someone gets a problem in searching us ,the taxi drivers in each corner will be there to pick them up ,hai na Maan

But Geet tab toh subah ka time hoga na ,toh woh problem hi nahi hogi ,Maan smiled naughtily trying to cheer her up

Maan please said Geet while sitting on the bench near the bus stop with her hands on her cheeks

Pcchh!! Ab kya hoga!!Geet said with an innocent face

Maan looked all the directions but there wasn't a single mode of transport!!

Maan too sat besides Geet .

He looked at her ,Geet don't worry koi aur auto zaroor mil jayega!!

We'll not miss the marriage!

Maan sat there on the bench .

He leaned against a small iron rod .He looked at Geet ,he remembered their first outing it was also an arranged thinf ,it wasn't planned by them but by some-one else many of their meetings were planned by someone else and even this this wasn't a planned Missing transport It just happened.Things always just happened in their life ,just like that .He remembered the morning's yes from Geet. He felt so happy that the girl stting next to her was now going to become his life partner.

They both sat quietly for the next few minutes and Geet was worried about the transport Maan was busy in thinking about her .Maan again looked here and there

But this time with a smile

He again looked around with a broader smile

Geet looked at excited Maan

How beautiful it is. It's amazing

Oh..Empty road ,no-one on the road ,the cool thin intoxicating wind , deserted place a small light and we both

Maan WHAT??!!! looked Geet with a confused expression

Maan knelt down and looked deep into her eyes.

He cleared his throat ,he tried to say something but stopped in between,he again tried but wasn't able to

I really don't know what more to say I know this is so...

I don't even know how it is!

I dunno why but I just felt that it's a perfect time ,not the situation but yeah the time..everything here is so perfect and..

They heard a horn of an auto

Maan auto!!

Geet stood up

They both stood up suddenly

She realised what he just said suddenly!!

These are the three most beautiful words of anyone's life !! but how did it happen so suddenly!! Oh God..This Maan is just so unexpected!!

Maan came back to his senses ,he just said that

I wanted to make this moment special for you and why did I jsut say that !!

May be the environment was special but not the timing ,you said it in such a tensed environment ,what has happened to you Maan!! You are really very weird!!

They heard the horn again and this time they properly came back to their senses leaving their self-thoughts behind

Geet is baar auto mein chadna hi hai ,I don't think straight truth will do anything

He winked and Geet smiled in return

They both ran towards the auto

Anna we need to go the xxx kalyana mandapam

Listen it's very important

It's our marriage and we are not present there

What are you telling ??It's your marriage so what are you doing here

Geet started coughing

But stopped it when she heard the word bride

Maan bas ,auto chade varna ham shaadi me late ho jayenge

Yeah you are right varna hamare pahunchne se pehle hi shaadi ho jayegi

KYA? Asked the confused auto driver.

No No anna he is very funny you know

Hamare bina shaadi kaise ho sakti hai Maan ,Geet hit Maan on his shoulder again pretending to smile before the auto driver

Geet and Maan passed a fake smile to the auto driver

Anna please drive a bit fast anna

Wow anna you are a rocking Driver

You too attend the wedding ,then have breakfast and go

Geet hit Maan on his shoulder .

What are you doing ??

Oh no waise anna you must be getting late right ,you just drop us then you can go wherever you wish to your family who must be waiting for you without having a piece of grain !! I know anna family members are always like this ,I'll not force you to attend the wedding !!

Maan ,you are speaking a lot ,it's not making any sense and you are over-acting too please remain silent for some time for God sake. whispered Geet so that she is not audible to the auto driver

He obeyed her and remained silent for the remaining journey

She looked at him

I seriously don't get you Maan sometimes you act like a child ,sometimes a lovable one and sometimes an irritating one and sometimes you behave as a matured ,serious adult

How do you manage to be so lively and unexpected all the time?

I still couldn't get you Maan

Geet...Geet Maan waved his hand

Where were you lost??

She smiled nothing

chale aa gaya!!

They both went in just to be shot by hundreds of questions

The marriage rituals went on and Geet kept looking at Maan for most of the time and remebered his sudden I love you ,she smiled to herself after remembering his gestures.

The next morning after the marriage was successfully commenced

Geet's Amma took her and Maan to the pandit ,to fix the date of their marriage.

After a lot of thoughts they all came to a decision and arranged the marriage in February.

Geet looked at her amma ,appa,Maan ,Maan's appa ,astrologer , and the horoscopes

According to her Mom no no according to the astrologer the horoscopes were perfect and February is a wonderful month

Maan is very happy ,Appa hugged Maan's appa ,they all decided to announce this good news among all the relatives.

I can see a huge smile on everyone's face and frankly speaking even I'm waiting for it.

Ahh look at Maan he is excited more than anyone else

Amma is more than happy and there's another reason after marriage due to which she is happy

After the marriage I'll put bindi ma!!

She always cribs that I don't put bindi ,now her this wish wil be fulfilled too

I'm clueless about my life after marriage..wait clueless? No not clueless If I would have been clueless why would I have agreed to the marriage.

He is just way too difficult to understand!! Ohkk he just said those three magical words in ..in..pobably the most amazing weather ,time and surroundings ,it's exciting and..I don't know how to describe it!! but still in such situation!!

After all Maan is Maan ,he can do the quite expected things at the unexpected time

I know , well I started to know about the man who said I love you last night and just winked at me now!!
