Chapter 35

"I am waiting Geet...why does it pain you to see me in pain?" (He shook her when he saw her standing there like a statue. She looks at him with teary face...) "why?!" He was getting impatient...he wanted to know...she was forcing him again to behave like a Shetan with her...yet again!

Geet (looks down): I don't know...(Maan holds her hair with anger)

Maan: THEN WHAT DO YOU KNOW! (he shakes her) what?! (he lets go of her...she falls on the floor...) I should've known...love..is...a...baseless emotion...I hate this very emotion...I made a mistake in trying to change...for this very emotion...(He looks at her) Don't worry...I don't make mistakes twice...

Geet (she looks up at him with tears): My existence...me being here isn't it enough to tell you the answer to everything you are questioning?

Maan: NO..it isn't...(he holds her by the elbow tightly making her stand...) And as for your existence...you can leave whenever you want...I am not stopping you...I DON'T need you or anyone...I have lived by myself all these years..and I can certainly live by myself for the rest of my life...(he was about to leave..Geet stands before him and holds his collar with anger)

Geet:

I know that it hurts me to see you hurt

I know that when you are sad it makes me sad

I know that I can't sleep, eat or do anything without knowing where you are

I know that I wait for your call everyday I am here by myself...

I know that your face, your voice makes my day worthwhile

I know that one look from you makes me blush, makes me shy, makes my heartbeats rise to another level

I know that I feel protected around you, you won't let anything happen to me...

What I DON'T know is what is this feeling?

I don't know why I am feeling this way..or why...

Maan (holds her hands) When you DO know the answers to your questions then talk to me. (he removes her hands and leaves...leaving her standing there with her own thoughts. She drops on her knee...)

Her tears mixed with his blood on the floor. She touches the blood with her hand and looks at it...

Maan's words rang in her head...

She remembered seeing his concern for her when she fainted...him taking care of her making sure she isn't hurt...he was always there for her when she needed to be protected...she liked his possessiveness at the club...him shielding her away from the bad world...is this love?

Yes, maybe it is love...she has fallen in love with her Shetan...

She gets up to see him...she goes to their bedroom...with happiness...but doesn't find him...she looks in the study room but doesn't find him there either...she looks at the bottom of the stairs..and see him leaving...he was carrying a bag with him...she calls his name...in fear...

"Maaan..."

Maan turns around and saw her running down the stairs...he calls out her name "Geeettt..." when he saw her almost tripping on the stairs due to her running...he runs towards her to save her...he catches her on time...she puts her head on his shoulder while she catches her breath with a smile...he makes her look at him with anger...

Maan: Are you stupid!!! What if something had happen to you?!! I am talking to you! (he shakes her...)

Geet (puts her hand on his lips...) I love you! (She smiles and hugs him..Maan stood there shocked...he slowly brought his hands up to hug her...)

I love this Shetan...

I love your anger,

I love your love behind your anger,

I love your protectiveness and obsessive behavior

I love you Maan...(She says with teary face and hugs him. Maan hugs her back)

Please don't leave me...

"How can I leave you?"

"you are part of me and always will be..."

"My life is incomplete without you Geet..."

"There is no Maan if there is no Geet..."

She laughs and cries at the same time. Maan picks her up...she looks at him with a smile and places her head on his chest..close to his chest...he makes her lie down..he looks at her tears and wipes them away..Geet holds his hand and brings it over her heart...

"this beats for you now..can you feel it?"

He puts his head on her heart and closes his eyes...Geet lies down while he listens to her heartbeats...Maan looks at her...she puts her arms around his neck...and bends up to kiss his cheek...he holds her head and kisses her on the lips...she lies on top of him kissing his face...she hides her face on his chest...Maan hugs her tightly as if protecting her...she closes her eyes taking in his aroma..she loved it..she now knew that no matter what she cannot hate him...she liked him how he is..a Shetan...Both dozed off smiling and thinking of their new found love...

Note: Okay I know it is dramatic and the ending was not the way you guys expected...but I thought it would be better if they take it all in of what happened 😆
