Part 68

Their romantic moment was disturbed by geet's phone. she was in no mood to answer it but maan gestured her to pick up. She half heartedly parted from him and maan laughed looking her expressions. She made a baby face and answered the call.

"hello"

"geet tu teek hai na" came misha's voice from the other side.

"kya tu yeh puchne keliyeh call kiya?" asked geet a bit angrily.

"haan" misha said.

"r u nuts misha'.abhi abhi gaya tu'mujhe kya hoga?" geet almost shouted on her.

On the other side maan was laughing silently for her words.

Geet saw him laughing and realized how despo like she is behaving. She looked at him embarrassed...

"oh'sorry" misha said.

"sorry?" geet asked calming down.

"haan sorry'.for disturbing ur ROMANTIC moment" misha giggled.

Geet turned all red "tu yeh kya bol rahi ho misha"

"acha ji u dint understand me'u r not that innocent geet" misha smiled.

"nahi misha maan yaha nahi'." Before geet could say further maan who was listening to all this came from behind hugged her and said "geet itni der kisse baath kar rahi ho'I m waiting"

Geet looked at him dumbstruck while maan tried hard to muffle his laughter.

On the other side misha laughed out loud "sorry bhai disturb kiya'rakthi hoon good night."

"good night misha" maan answered back and cut the call.

Geet stared at him dumbstruck and he literally laughed out loud holding his stomach.

"aap'.aap" geet said angrily.

Maan still continued laughing.

"aap yeh kya kiya'.aap ki wajha se mein embarrass hogaya" geet said angrily.

Maan controlled his laughter and came near her and hold her by sholders. She turned her head other side. Maan kept his figure under her chin and made her look at him.

"geet friends ke saamne embarrassment nahi hoga geet'.they all know u inside out so whats there for u to keep anything away from them and this is just a joke and nothing is there to feel embarrass." Maan spoke.

"pata hai phir bhi''abb aap chodo mujhe aur ghar ja'daadima aur dev aap ka intezaar kar rahehoga'.its so late now'.go maan." Geet said pushing him towards the gate.

Maan bid her goodnight with a peck on her lips and went.

Next morning

"adi sir geet kaha hai? ab tak kyun nai aayi? Project ki files to usske paas hai na'to kaha hai'.clients aane ka time bhi hogaya aur maan sir bhi aagaya'.shalini madam bhi aagaya" pinky literally ran from left to right and right to left in adi's room.

"pinky calm down'.bas kal hi engagement hogaya na shaayad tak gayi hogi'aajavoge'.waise ab maan sir bhi usse kuch nahi kahega'ab to wo officially usski mangetar hai na'''he he hee hehe he " adi gave his signature laugh.

"haan shaayad aap sahi kehraheho...i think I m worrying unnecessarily." Pinky finally calmed down.

"adi sir the clients are here" tasha came in and informed them.

Adi and pinky went out to receive them. They were already told to receive the clients and make them sit in the conference hall.

As adi and pinky made their way towards the entrance they saw a man with brown hair and tall and slim walk through the door's of KC along with few other people.

Adi received him and they all made their way towards the conference hall.

"u please wait here sir will come" with that adi and pinky left the conference hall.

Rahul took his seat along with others and soon maan came with his usual professional way.

As maan walked into the conference hall rahul stood and forwarded his hand "hello Mr.Khurana its nice meeting u"

"hello Mr.Desai." maan said and took his seat and rahul also sat back.

"I never thought that a person like u will ever come for me" rahul said sarcastically.

Maan looked at him seriously and said sternly "the things u did made me to look for u"

Maan is boiling from inside but kept his cool so that he don't disturb the plan.

"things I did?" rahul asked confused.

"interiors" maan said with the same cold tone.

"oh yeah'..if I m not wrong then I think u own a interior company yourself" rahul said.

"u r not wrong" maan said.

"then?" rahul asked.

"I don't give reasons'..and u can never reject a offer of mine'." maan said sternly.

"how can anyone reject working with Mr.Maan singh Khurana the great business man" rahul said.

Maan dint say further just gave him a cold look.

"so where is the person who is responsible for this meeting'I mean Miss.Agarwaal'.its her project if I m not wrong" rahul said.

"its Mrs.Agarwaal Mr.desia" came her voice from behind and everyone turned to see her.

She looked at maan who gave her a knowing look and she proceeded forwards.

Rahul turned back and got the shock of his life'.(ufs'this moron rahul doesn't know that its just beginning ha ha ha)

He instantly stood up and looked at her rather started at her blankly.

"what happened Mr.desai'.why r u standing?" maan asked sarcastically.

Shalini walked towards them and sat on the opposite side of rahul and beside adi.

"u can take ur seat Mr.Rahul Desai" shalini said with attitude.

Rahul instantly sat still looking at her blankly.

"shalini!!" he almost whispered.

"its Mrs. Shalini Agarwaal Mr. desai" shalini spoke rudely.

Rahul looked at her in shock.

"so Mr.maan lets start the presentation" shalini said.

Adi stood up and said "sorry ma'am our head arctic still dint show up and designs are with her. if u don't mind can you wait for few minutes"

"kya Mr.khurana is this the punctuality of ur employees? Huh?" rahul said mockingly.

"Another word about my staff and u will pay for that" maan said coldly which made rahul shiver a bit.

"Mr. Desai its my project and I don't mind waiting so u better stay in ur limits" shalini glared at him with red eyes.

Now rahul was between too people shivering for their attitude and power.

"its ok adi I can wait" shalini said to adi.

"no need Mrs.shalini I have the designs and I will start the presentation and when she comes she will continue" with that maan stood. The lights went off the projector started.

Maan started the presentation thinking 'geet come soon 'plz'.i m there with u'plz don't worry'.come geet'

Here on the other side geet is sitting in the car in the parking lot from last 1 hour. She saw rahul's car entering into KC and he got down the car and walked to the lift. After nearly 4 years she saw him. Her past came infront of her.

She sat there tears poring out of her eyes. then her cell rang and she looked at the screen only to find maan calling her. she sat there still not answering the call. Soon the call ended and the phone went silent. Again maan called her but the same response. Next she saw his message but dint open. Finally after few minutes she took her cell in her hands and looked at the screen where her and maan's pic is as a wallpaper.

she stared at the pic and caressed it. She finaly opened the message and read.

'geet'don't worry sweet heart''I am with u'and will always be'.plz come''I m waiting for u'..its ur chance to make them pay for there deeds darling''trust me'and come'

She smiled at his care and finally got down the car determined.

She walked to the office and enquired that all were already in the conference hall. she rushed to the hall and opened it.

She walked to the office and enquired that all were already in the conference hall. she rushed to the hall and opened it.

Maan started the presentation but he mind is on geet. He hope he run to her at this moment. But he cant spoil their plan. He wish geet to come there soon so that he can be beside her.

Suddenly the door burst open with a hug sound and all turned their heads only to find nothing…actually no one entering in. instantly maan know who it is. He looked at shalini who gave him a knowing look.

Outside geet opened the door but dint enter. She took a deep breath and gathering her confidence…..her trust on her love…..and finally the attitude he gave.

She entered the room with her head shot up high and she walked with full attitude. All the staff looked at her she is definitely different today.

She wore a black office skirt and a violet formal shirt with a scarf around her neck and high black heel shoes.

she daily used to were kurthi and jeans some days cotton leggings and sometimes Punjabi suits. Even at the time of meeting she wears some decent cotton kurthis but never this high class office wear. This is new for them to see geet like this. And not to miss the twinkle in her eyes.

when she first joined the office everyone saw the coldness in her but time to time she changed and but used to speak veryless with people. The more she spoke with is the gang…adi, misha,pinky, romeo and pari….no one saw her speaking more with others. And no one ever saw the sweet smile and the twinkle in her eyes.

but today her eyes had more than that twinkle and her smile had more than that sweetness only few there know. Maan and shalini and looked at her. geet's eyes met maan and the bit confidence she is lacking or fearing to let out boosted up seeing him. He gave her a slight smile and she dint miss his assurance and worry for her. she smiled back saying she is okay and that is all he needed to execute his plan further.

Shalini saw there little chat with eyes and happy for them when geet looked at her she nodded her head and geet got what she is waiting.

As none entered after the door opened everyone went back to work and adi intentionally engrossed rahul in file so that he wont see geet's entry.

As they did rahul was engrossed in the file until geet came towards them.

"so mr. desai…..as our architect was back she will continue from her" maan said distracting rahul from the file. Rahul looked up and met another shock of his life.

Rahul sat there rooted looking at a new avatar of geet…completely different….he saw her in salwar kameez and pujabi suits but never like this in modern wear. He was mesmerized by her beauty yet again. He checked her from top to bottom with his lustful eyes.

Maan saw his look and he is boiling…how dare he look at his geet like that…another minute he will punch this moron but geet stood beside him and caught his hand from under the table and calmed him.

Maan looked at geet who gave her 'plz-calm-down' look. He calmed a bit and spoke "Mr. desai meet our head architect Miss.Geet Handa"

He doesn't want geet to extend her hand but that should happen or their plan would flop at the first step itself.

Geet extended her hand in pure hatredness which she well covered and masked a sweet fake smile.

Rahul took her hand and gave her a squeeze. She felt as if she touched the shit but instead gave him another killer smile and squeezed back. Rahul was shocked by her positive response.

"nice to meet you Mr.Rahul Desai" geet said in a very stylish way. Her change in tone was again a surprise for rahul.

"the pleasure is all mine beautiful" he replied and she smiled.

"okay lets continue with the presentation" maan said through gritted teeth which went unnoticed by rahul.

Geet went to the projector and started the presentation. All the time thorough out the presentation rahul's eyes are on geet and maan and shalini's eyes are on rahul. They both are actually boiling in anger.

As the presentation completed geet came around and went to sit beside shalini but shalini eyed her to sit beside rahul. She was reluctant but maan assured her with her eyes. as maan sat at the head seat of the table and to his right sat adi and beside adi shalini sat and to maan's left a seat was left empty and then rahul sat. geet sat inbetween maan and rahul.

As geet sat maan held her hand and squeezed lightly assuring her and geet blinked at him.

She then turned to rahul who smiled at her lustfully eyes her and she knowing his looks smiled back.

Shalini stood up "so Mr.Maan and Mr.Desai…I have already said my all requirements and now Mr.Khurana as your presentation on the design….i am really impressed by your firm's work and I liked the designs…now Mr.desai only your presentation on interior is remaining and I want it by this month end….all the designs" she said sternly.

"I don't take orders" rahul said irritatingly.

"you have no other option" shalini said coldly and he shut his mouth.

"so Mr.khurana lets final the deal" shalini said and all got up. Maan signed the deal and so rahul. Shalini and maan planned well so that rahul can't have a way out of this deal. As rahul signed the deal maan and shalini smirked and geet looked at them and they gave her a nod. Geet smiled at them.
