Sid had bought Riddhima to a fancy seven star restaurant. He himself loved the ambiance of the Hotel, the dim lights, the soft romantic music.. He thought it was the best place to go to for a first date. And he was sure Riddhima was really enjoying herself, though her face expressions contradicted his thoughts, it didn't really seem like she was happy, but then he thought why wouldn't anyone like coming to a seven star hotel. What he didn't understand was that his fianc would rather spend their first date somewhere more private rather than in a place which was full of people going in and out.

"I can't take my eyes off you today Riddhima.. You look really very beautiful..." Sid finally broke the silence that was settled between them

"Thank you Sid, but ab please yeh kehna band karo.. This is like the 10th time you've said it today!" Riddhima who was initially blushing at his praises, was now genuinely getting irritated of these cheesy lines.

"Well usme galati bhi toh tumhari hai.. Who told you to look so beautiful.." Sid joked around with her.

"Shut up now Sid.." She scolded him

"Okay okay..I'm sorry..." He apologized

"Good!" She said

"So Riddhima tumne batay nahi.. Kaisi lagi tumhe tumhari first date?" He asked her

"Erm its good.. Thank you Sid..." She thanked him dryly

"You're Welcome.." He replied

"Uh Sid.. Can we go somewhere more.. uh.. Private.. Please?" She hesitated in saying what had been playing on her mind for quite a while now.

"Yeah sure Riddhima.. Yahan paas mein hi ek achi jagah hai walk ke liye.. So why don't we go there.." He offered

"Yeah cool lets go then.." She said quickly getting up.

Both Sid and Riddhima had continuously been walking at a constant speed, since the last half an hour. Not a single word had been spoke between the two. Riddhima had been waiting for Sid to say something, whereas Sid was waiting for Riddhima to start off the conversation.

"Sid uh acutally main tumse kuch baat karna chahti thi... Hamari shaadi ko leke.." Riddhima finally took the initiative of starting a conversation.

"Haan bolo na Riddhima.." He was glad that she had finally spoke.

"You know everything is just happening too fast.. I don't know if I really... Sid!" "Haan kya hua.." She had started off talking, but stopped midway, when she saw that Sid wasn't paying attention to him and looking the opposite way and that just pissed her off!

"Sid I need to tell you something important aur tum ho ke baat hi nahi sun rahe..." She said unbelievably

"Sorry, I'm sorry Riddhima.. But just one minute.. Tum yahan ruko, I'll be right back.." He told her.

"But Sid I need to talk to you.." She emphasized again.

"Yeah I know Riddhima.. But just give me 2 minutes okay please.. Please haan.. I'll.. I'll be right back.. Just 2 minutes.." He pleaded and with that he hurried off.

Riddhima sighed in disappointed and anger.. She really needed to talk to him and this was probably the best opportunity she had got when they were both alone.. Otherwise at home they were always surrounded by people.. Sometimes their parents and sometimes their friends, there wasn't a single opportunity where they got to be alone and just spend some time with each other, just the two of them.. And when there was an opportunity today, he wasn't even bothering to listen to her! She stopped near the basketball court, just pacing right and left... It had been a good 10 minutes.. Where the heck was he?

"God.. How long is Sid gonna take!" She mumbled angrily while she stomped her foot on the ground.. And eventually getting tired she sat down on the first step of the Basketball court...She was just in her own thoughts.. When thump!!!

Something hit her smack on her head...Her head filled with rage and turned around to see what the damn thing was...She turned around fiercely, her hair swaying to the to the other side, and saw a shirtless guy standing in the middle of the court ...The guy turned around to see that the ball had hit the girl who was glaring at him with murderous eyes...

"Bull's eye!"... He spoke in a husky voice.

"TUM?" Riddhima shouted, as she recalled the last time she had seen him in the woods..

"Haan main.. Now can I have the ball please.." He said with full on attitude...

And that was the last straw for Riddhima, he was surely good looking and any girl would have completely melted seeing him shirtless like that, his abs, chiselled chest and perfectly built up body, would drive any girl crazy...But this was not any girl...This was Riddhima Gupta...who wasn't easily flattered by any guy whatsoever...She was just mad at him, first of all his ball had hit her on the head and then instead of apologizing, he was throwing attitude towards her, with a smirk on his face. She turned around and got the ball and started bouncing it as she walked up to him. When they were face to face...

Riddhima spoke "Tum andhe ho kya.. Basket wahan nahi uss taraf hai..." She stated the obvious

"Oh really, you know what, agar tum batati nahi mujhey toh pata hi nahi chalta!" came his smart and quick reply.

Riddhima smirked at his cheekiness..."Bohat smart samajhte ho khud ko..."

"No sweetheart, samajhta nahi...hoon. And anyway tumhari galati hai tumhe yahan hona nahi chahiye, kyunki yeh kapde Basketball court mein allowed nahi hai darling, so you shouldn't be here..." and with that he moved closer to her face, smirking naughtily.

And with that reply Riddhima just rolled her eyes at him and aimed at the Basket from the middle off the basketball court and bang on, the ball went straight into the basket!!!

Armaan was quite impressed by this but didn't want to show it, so he just smirked cheekily...

"Kapron se kuch farak nahi padta.. Aim sahi hona chahiye.. Looser!" she retorted proudly...

And with the last comment, she started walking off...when he stopped her "Yo Basket...naam toh batati jao"

She turned around with a smirk on her face and walked back up to him and showed him thumbs up, but soon rotated it down words and walked off, with a smile of victory on her face...
Armaan couldn't believe her cheekiness...and with a huff left from there...Both took one glance at each other from each end of the basketball and then headed off on their own ways!

"Sid, where the hell were you?" She enquired. He had come back just as Riddhima left the basketball court.

"Woh.." Then bringing out Riddhima's favourite bouquet of red roses from behind his back, he smiled and gave them to her..

Riddhima melted as soon as she saw the bouquet of roses, her face broke into a smile as she took the flowers from him and thanked him.. "Thank you Sid.."

"Riddhima ab yeh thank you kehna band kar do.." He told her winking at her.. "Oh tum mujhsey kuch baat karna chahti thi na.. Bolo kya baat hai..?" He asked her, now listening to her attentively.

"Uh... woh Sid actually.." Then sighing.. "Nahi kuch nahi.. It doesn't matter, ghar chalein.. Its late." She said now going back on her own idea of talking to him. She didn't know why, but after that encounter with her 'mystery guy' again, she just couldn't talk to Sid. Something had caught her off guard. Glancing back one last time at the basket ball court, she headed off in the opposite direction alongside Sid.
