Ya friends,I came across through your doubts and really want to thank you for commenting'well the reason that Geet did not threaten Maan to open her mouth as she was very scared and the same moment clever enough to see through the consequences of doing that'as she was in a very weak position to fight him becoz he was armed and she wasn't and she had Bani to look after...and for Maan,being a hard-core criminal he can easily make out that which person has enough nerve to go against him...and the original reason i would disclose as the story proceeds...

CHAPTER-3

Next morning Geet woke up late as she was both mentally and emotionally tired.Opening her eyes the same set of events played across her mind'.she ignored it for the umpteenth time trying to calm her nerves down..

"Geet dear'wake up fast"she heard Dev's voice'..she was very eager to discuss the matter with her respectable Dev bro'well Dev and his family had been very close to them since chilhood..Dev and Naintara were in the same class'and it was on her 13^th birthday she came to know about the secret love that Dev possessed for her di'.well she was more than happy to know about it'and changed her relationship status with him from bro-sis to brother in law and sister in law'.but thanks to her beloved and extremely strict di'bechara Dev could never voice out his emotions,though at odd times acted super foolishly in front of Naintara'bechara being a senior CBI officer and fearing his lady love'chi chi what a shame!

"Geet wake up fast'its already 9"'she heard Dev calling again'breaking her chain of thoughts..

"Just a minute Dev bro,I am coming down"Geet finally replied..

"Good morning di and jij'I mean Dev bro'"Geet came down in her sky blue night dress'with a brush in her hand'

"Geet..brush your teeth fast and have your milk"Naintara told..

"Don't spoil her Dev.."Nt finally blasted on Dev and went to the kitchen to bring coffee for the elders!(she and Dev)

"What the hell!!"Geet cried out glancing the glass full of milk mixed with ever so nutritious turmeric powder!!

"Throw it before Naintara arrives"Dev spoke out..glancing towards the kitchen.Geet mouthed him a thanks and tip-toed quickly towards the window'

"DON'T YOU EVER TRY THROWING IT MISS GEET HANDA"Naintara yelled at her'.

"Umm no..no..no di,I was just seeing the beauty of nature'actually examining how it looks with a glass of milk in my hand!Geet blurted out foolishly'

"DRINK IT NOW I SAID"Nt sceamed and within the next 5 seconds the glass was empty and poor Geet was full!!

"Good girl"she heard Nt say'

"Well Geet you should report to the HQ today sharply at 12..today you will be officially handed operation DA(Drugs&Armaments)"Dev stated seriously'

Finally Dev and Naintara left for their duty'by 10..

The beautiful pair of brown eyes were continuously disturbing his thoughts'since last evening'..as he continuously tried to brush aside the thoughts of the encounter with her,his mind had its own way of troubling him'frustrated,he poured a whole bottle of cold-water on himself to soothe his nerves'..I should have shut her mouth down completely'he said to himself..though his heart refused him to harm her,her innocent and pure form'.did he trust her?a complete stranger'a mere girl?now that was something very uncommon for him'he was so involved into crime since the age of 12 or 13 that thinking about girls or spending time with them was something he never did'.actually he basically hated that species as he could relate them only bringing troubles in a peaceful man's life'!still not for once the thought played in his mind that she will go against him,during their encounter'.why'well he himself had no answer to that'may be the question was somewhere in his sub-conscioius mind'and never well surfaced his brain''.he just belived that she can't go against him'their was something in her eyes which compelled him to trust her'.why the hell did he kiss her'.just to shut her mouth'.is it really?or he just wanted to make a permanent memory in her life'.kissed by a killer'a complete stranger'..

"Bloody hell!! That girl saw a good side of Maan Singh Khurana,well I threatened her enough to keep her mouth shut,but if she manages to move a step against me,I WILL KILL HER!"he stated to himself,his extremely sharp mind blocking his swaying heart'

"Officer Geet Handa,we have been waiting for you.."Sr.Mehta said as he saw Geet arrive fully dressed in her CBI outfit'well he was glad to see his best student taking over an extremely important mission with so much confidence'

"Good afternoon,Sir"Geet greeted him'

"Miss Geet,I would like you to go through a detailed study about the case,as soon as possible'it would help you a lot in solving it'go through the case files,see the old newspapers,CBI computers for minute details'."Dr.Vishnu suggested her'

Soon after the case was officially handed to her'she made up her mind to fulfill it hook or by crook'it was her first case and no-way she was going to lose it'

"Dev-bro I need your help'"Geet called Dev as she saw him leaving the office

"Yes Geet'I would like to help you dear.."Dev replied happily

"I don't quite understand that why CBI has not been capable to stop a single dealings of those people'its very unnatural that we only get to know about this,after its done'"Geet stated narrowing her brows

"Well the gang is very much efficient to carry their crimes,so skillfully,not even a single of their worker is traced till date'actually they change their hide-outs every single meeting'and CBI officers don't have this much time to wait for them..to show up abruptly after few days,months or years'"Dev said

"Still,you must be patient'something,a little piece of info about any worker?"Geet queried

"Well yes we did trace one of them'but the very next day he was killed by his own men when we planned to catch him"Dev answered

"The case is really tough and challenging too'I should start studing its details now.."Geet spoke

"Best of luck dear'."Dev encouraged her and left the office'

Done with his meeting for the next export,Maan was returning home in his Black ambassador'.followed by his men in 4 black cars behind'when they stopped at the signal'.

"Damn these mumbai traffic!!"he said to himself'.

As he waited for the traffic to clear out,he looked out from the glass''only to be mesmerized by the sight in front of him'. The same girl who lingered on his thoughts since yesterday stood mere feet away from him'descending from the temple stairs'clad in a green suit with a duppata draped on her head'her brown locks disturbing her eyes due to the wind,as she moved her hand continuously to stop them'.

"She is indeed beautiful and sexy too"he said to himself'and smiled'as if for that moment he forgot all his resolutions,his bindings,his world,his promise to kill her if she goes against him'..he was loosing his own self just for a mere girl'.

She finally moved from his sight bringing him back from his dreams'

"This damn chit of a girl'.just forget her Maan..get a grip.."Maan said to himself very frustrated'.soon the traffic was cleared and his car started''.
